Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Introduction I have written over 180 books. I think this is the best book that I have ever compiled. The Anglo-Saxons have been given an unfortunate bad opinion about their Race. Let?s, begin with the truth. The Egyptians and Romans had Slaves before the Anglo-Saxons came into existence. The England Empire started in the Dark Ages. They were basically many Northern Tribes living in caves. They eventually evolved into the most Powerful and greatest Country on Earth (England). England was wise enough to adopt Christianity as their core Religionist belief of compassion, forgiveness and love. They had the opportunity to believe in Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism or any other Ideology. They chose Christianity because Jesus made more sense to them. The Anglo-Saxons fought many Wars between other ethnic groups. They conquered them and established Colonies around the World. Eventually, they ended Colonization and let other Races control their own destiny.

This book was released on 2017-07-13 with total page 184 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Introduction The information in this book has been researched and accumulated over a period of many years. You hold in your hands, one of the most important books I have ever compiled. The Anglo-Saxtons have been given a unfortunate bad opinion about their Race. Let's, begin with the truth. The Bible, Egyptians and Romans all had Slaves before the Anglo-Saxons came into existence. Their Empire started in the Dark Ages. They were basically many Northern Tribes living in Caves. They eventually evolved into the most Powerful and greatest Country on Earth. They were wise enough to adopt Christianity as their core Religionist belief of love and compassion. They had the opportunity to believe in Judaism, Islam, Buddhism or many other ideologies. They chose Christianity because Jesus made more sense to them. The Anglo-Saxtons fought many Wars between other ethnic groups. They conquered them and established Colonies around the World. Eventually they ended Colonization and let other Races control their own destiny. By no means the people in this book are the only outstanding achievers, they are the lucky few I chose to put in this book. When history of a people is portrayed as insignificant, history may mean very little to them. When role models of their likeness are presented in a positive way, it will decrease resentment and inferiority or superiority from being breaded into them. When a people discovers positive contributions that their forebears contributed to Society, it gives hope and pride to them. Blacks has made tremendous advancements, and have the same opportunities as Whites to get a good education and achieve what their dream desires at this time in the United States. This is a new United States of America with freedom loving people from all over the World living in peace and harmony together. America finally realized everyone should have the opportunity to participate, compete and flourish in this Nation. There is hope to achieve success and wealth if you work hard and live by the Rules of this Society no matter where your roots began. The time has come for me to give recognition to all people (especially White Anglo-Saxon people), who sacrificed their lives and Political Careers helping Black people when they could not help themselves. Those White people are the "forgotten heroes." Therefore, they will be recognized in this history book. Blacks must never forget that there have always been good decent Americans who wanted to do the right thing in the first place, regardless of race, creed or color. Finally, we must began to realize we all are human beings want the pursuit of freedom and happiness. Last but not least, I love America and it is the greatest Country on Earth. Therlee Gipson

Book excerpt: A sweeping and original history of the Anglo-Saxons by national bestselling author Marc Morris. Sixteen hundred years ago Britain left the Roman Empire and swiftly fell into ruin. Grand cities and luxurious villas were deserted and left to crumble, and civil society collapsed into chaos. Into this violent and unstable world came foreign invaders from across the sea, and established themselves as its new masters. The Anglo-Saxons traces the turbulent history of these people across the next six centuries. It explains how their earliest rulers fought relentlessly against each other for glory and supremacy, and then were almost destroyed by the onslaught of the vikings. It explores how they abandoned their old gods for Christianity, established hundreds of churches and created dazzlingly intricate works of art. It charts the revival of towns and trade, and the origins of a familiar landscape of shires, boroughs and bishoprics. It is a tale of famous figures like King Offa, Alfred the Great and Edward the Confessor, but also features a host of lesser known characters - ambitious queens, revolutionary saints, intolerant monks and grasping nobles. Through their remarkable careers we see how a new society, a new culture and a single unified nation came into being. Drawing on a vast range of original evidence - chronicles, letters, archaeology and artefacts - renowned historian Marc Morris illuminates a period of history that is only dimly understood, separates the truth from the legend, and tells the extraordinary story of how the foundations of England were laid.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This monumental 1849 publication was the first detailed analysis to compare Anglo-Saxon institutions with those of other Germanic peoples. The philologist and historian Kemble (1807-57) was born into a renowned family of actors, trained at Cambridge for both the bar and the church, but devoted his career to Germanic philology and Old English. His studies resulted in several books including a Beowulf edition (1833), a pioneering six-volume edition of Anglo-Saxon charters (Codex Diplomaticus Aevi Saxonici, 1839-48), and the posthumous Horae Ferales (1863), together with articles and translations in periodicals. He also corresponded for many years with Jacob Grimm. The Saxons drew heavily on Kemble's work on the charters. This, the first of two volumes, argues for the early presence of the Saxons in Britain and investigates their laws and institutions, emphasising the relationship between land ownership and rank in the Anglo-Saxon social order.

Book excerpt: Why is it that encyclopedias assert the Vikings, or Norsemen, landed in parts of North America, yet the Vikings have never been credited with its discovery? Historians bestow this honor on Christopher Columbus, who ventured here five hundred years after the Vikings, having never set foot on the continent! True Myth: Black Vikings of the Middle Ages takes the reader where he or she has never been before. We have always been told that Vikings, or Norsemen, were tall, blond, white and blue-eyedan image that has been presented to us in books and films. Now comes a book that challenges this centuries-old assertion, presenting evidence that these vaunted warriors were not the people popular historians have told us they were. The author presents evidence that white-skinned peoples in England, Ireland, and Wales referred to Vikings as black pagans and black devils. The extent of their dominance in Europe is examinedin fact, the author presents a reassessment of Europe that some readers will find difficult to believe, beginning with mans migrations into the continent and examining a number of black-skinned peoples who called Europe home from very ancient times almost to the present. The reader has never read a book like thisfilled with quotations from noted historians as well as from several Icelandic sagasthat will take the reader on a journey he or she has never imagined! A more accurate picture of Europe has never been presented before. The writer revisits the last ice age, presents evidence of the heavy presence of blacks in ancient Europe, and revisits ancient Greece, Rome, and areas of Asia, discussing the presence of black-skinned peoples in them before arriving in Viking-age Scandinavia when Norsemen embarked on a three-century-long assault on the continent and began migrating to Iceland and other areas of North America. Once the reader has completed True Myth: Black Vikings of the Middle Ages, he or she will have to question what he or she has been taught, historians once thought to be trustworthy, and the notion that the races were strictly divided and had never intermingled. There has never been a truer picture of Europe written, and the reader now has the opportunity to embark on the most thrilling journey he or she will ever take.
