Book The Black Hole Kings Queens The Sacrifice of Amnesse

Download or read book The Black Hole Kings Queens The Sacrifice of Amnesse written by Zirah Quill and published by Publishing Mongers. This book was released on 2024-03-21 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Humanity has still not explored even a percentage of the power this universe has to offer. Instead, they have been fearing the greatest technology they can possibly ever have access to. The universe gives us a way to teleport with a hole in the space time continuum, that can be used to eliminate transport once and for all and all we have ever done is be afraid of it. Imagine going from your home to the top of Mount Everest or the bottom of Mariana Trench by pressing a button and walking through it. With a little command over gravity, this is what humanity can achieve but all humans are doing is fearing that the black hole will eat Earth up someday, least realising if the black hole someday comes for Earth, it will send us to another galaxy just like our kings and queens. It will make Earth the king of a galaxy like it made them the kings and queens of the universe. This is a story of scientific probability of the ever expanding universe. This is story of The Black Hole Kings and Queens - The Kings and Queens born out of a Black Hole with the Sacrifice of Amnesse. Black holes have been around much before life on Earth has. Earth is a single planet among billions of planets in billions of galaxies and humans have never explored the black hole. They have seen it from afar and have declared it a monster whereas that is the only thing that will take them to the future. They say we need to preserve resources for future generations, but they are too scared to realise that the black hole gives us access to infinite resources in this ever expanding universe and we just have to be courageous enough to enter.

Download or read book A Short Tale of a Long Long Tail written by Michael Brian O’Hara and published by Archway Publishing. This book was released on 2016-11-08 with total page 32 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Mr. Lion has spent a good part of his life moving from jungle to jungle. Hes just looking for a place where he can be left alone. Hes sad because everyone laughs at him and makes fun of him because his tail is so long. In fact, Mr. Lions tail is longer than the giraffes neck, the elephants trunk, and the rhinoceross horn, and its even longer than the snakes whole body. In this jungle, though, the animals dont laugh; its rude to laugh at someone who is different. They admire Mr. Lions tail, and several of the animals try to make friends with the lion. But he just wants to be left alone. One day, tragedy strikes in the jungle. The animals call upon Mr. Lion to help them rescue a monkey who is in trouble after trying to cross a flooded river. The lion realizes he has a special talent, and his tail, though very long, is an important part of who he is.

Book Fiction Against History

Download or read book Fiction Against History written by James Kerr and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 1989-07-28 with total page 154 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Walter Scott was acutely conscious of the fictionality of his historical novels. In this 1989 book, James Kerr reads the Waverley novels as a grand fictional project constructed around the relationship between the language of fiction and historical reality. We can see throughout Scott's novels a tension between the romancer, recasting the events of the past in accordance with recognizably literary logics, and the historian, presenting an accurate account of the past. This contradiction, reflected in Scott's generic mixture of romance and realism, remains unresolved, even in the most self-conscious of his works. It is in this interplay of fiction and history that Professor Kerr identifies the rich complexity of the Waverley novels.

Book The Disappearance of Objects

Download or read book The Disappearance of Objects written by Joshua Shannon and published by . This book was released on 2009 with total page 248 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Claes Oldenburg, Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, and Donald Juddall are iconic names in art history, and each is allowed a chapter's worth of exploration by Shannon (contemporary art history theory, Univ. of Maryland), who manages to surprise us into remembering that these people were grappling with their environment and working to understand the modern urban landscape. See, for example, the photo of Johns and Rauschenberg in Rauschenberg's home. They look like two young men camped out in a cheap flat somewhere in the present day, smoking, having a drink, and talking philosophy. Yet, they were making great strides in using their art, as Shannon argues, to understand how and why "all that was once directly lived has become mere representation," eventually revealing the "inadequacy of language itself." New York City was disappearing all around them, as faceless monoliths of modern glass and steel replaced treasured places where people had lived and died. Theirs was a time of rapid change, and these themes still persist today.Nadine Dalton, Speidel Cuyahoga Cty. P.L., Parma, OH Copyright Reed Business Information, a division of Reed Elsevier Inc. Book excerpt: In his poem entitled synonymously with the first line, Edgar A. Guest penned these sentiments, "I'd rather see a sermon than hear one any day; I'd rather one should walk with methan merely tell the way."The Christian walk is not about words; it is about actions. It is not about stories, but changed lives. It is not about emotion, but love. These 365 devotionals can be life-altering. One step in a new direction begins the journey, but we do not become seasoned hikers in an afternoon. Highs, lows, bumps and bruises will accompany each of us, but our actions speak louder than words in a world filled with difficulties. Take the challenge of letting God's Word not only inspire thoughts, but change lives, through His love. That change begins with our own personal walks with the Lord. As those walks become closer and more frequent, His love through us can rouse a deaf and broken world from its painful slumber. Start the journey today and remember, to God be the glory!

Book excerpt: This book covers the wider aspects of the microbiology of hot desert soil ecosystems, compiling disparate information from a range of relevant desert soil microbial fields. The reader learns about microbial ecology of the more dominant and possibly most important desert habitats, detailing the phylogenetic and functional diversity of these different habitats as well as their potential role in desert ecosystem ecology. Particular attention is also given to microbial stress adaptation in hot desert soils. Furthermore, it is the first volume in this particular field to cover modern metagenomics technologies that can be applied to studies of all aspects of desert microbial communities. Additionally, the book explores viruses and viral communities, which are among the least studied (and little understood) components of desert soil microbial communities. Particular attention is also given to the roles of desert microbial communities in biogeochemical cycling of carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus. Through this book the reader discovers how desert microbiology has been at the forefront of Astrobiology and how it may be used conceptually in future terraforming strategies. Desert ecosystems are increasingly coming into focus given the impacts of climate change and desertification trends, making this volume particularly timely. Each of the chapters is authored by leading international researchers and is a must-read for microbial ecologists. .
