He also proposed the need to curb corruption, including an asset detection mechanism for Nigeria to help politicians/public servants in declaration of assets as required by the Constitution. It was pointed out there was a need for a “common-pool” approach in 1988-1989 and 1993, and in particular on the 4th June 2015 correspondence to the president against corruption. The author points out that banking reform, government corruption, affordable housing, infrastructure repair, and environmental concerns are only some of the problems being faced in Nigeria. Government handouts to the so-called needy have created a permanent underclass of people being supported while not required to put forth effort. 4. The government refuses to take the steps needed to become energy efficient, which could be accomplished easily, thereby freeing us from OPEC. For those of you who dont remember, in the 50s, we exported oil.
