Download or read book The Bible Exposed Why God has Left the Building written by Keith Crowley and published by Grosvenor House Publishing. This book was released on 2012-07-19 with total page 220 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In 'The Bible Exposed -Why God has left the building' the author deconstructs many of Christianity's most cherished illusions. He lifts the lid off the Christian Bible's collection of scientific errors, ancient myths, legends and constant contradictions, and demonstrates that the Bible can only be a man-made artefact untouched by divine involvement or inspiration. The difference between what the Bible actually says and what Christianity teaches will astonish you. For instance, who killed Goliath? Everyone thinks that they know the answer. Everyone is amazed when they read what the Bible actually says.

Book excerpt: 90 SECONDS TO MIDNIGHT On January 23rd 2023 'The Doomsday Clock' used by atomic Scientists to evaluate how far our world is from nuclear destruction was moved forwards to '90 seconds to midnight' which indicates that mankind has again entered a time period of unprecedented danger. In the 1970's NASA's Pioneer satellites discovered a new planetary body in the far regions of our solar system using its infrared equipment. NASA growing concerned about how this planet would affect our world sent out another infrared satellite named IRAS in 1983 to scan the universe in infrared. Its 10 month mission re-discovered the planetary body called Planet 10 or X in Roman numerals. This Planet is already having a disastrous effect on the earth due to its huge size and gravitational pull but can only be seen by cryogenically cooled equipment. Not only is the Earth under threat from this intruder Planet, NASA is tracking a number of near earth objects, the highest threat coming from the asteroid Apophis which will either skim past the earth on Friday 13th April 2029 or crash into us creating a series of near extinction events. Realising that people would need an explanation on why severe earth changes were happening The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change was formed in 1988 to provide a false but believable narrative and gain the time needed for alternative power structures to take shape. These are; The Bilderburg Group, The World Economic Forum, The United Nations and the World Health Organisation who are now positioning themselves to become a future government-in waiting dominating our own democratically elected national governments when these catastrophic events play out. This world government will be controlled by a man the bible calls the Antichrist who will run a new financial system based on Central Bank Digital Currencies. This system will go global by 2030 and will replace all cash and card transactions. No-one will be able to buy or sell without his evil mark. Just before this system in fully operational Christian believers will be caught up to meet Christ in the air in an event called 'The Rapture' just before a terrible time on earth lasting seven years called ' The Great Tribulation' begins. This Book will also look at how the Vaccine injured are being completely ignored.

Book Jesus Has Left the Building

Download or read book Jesus Has Left the Building written by Peter Keese and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2014-09-25 with total page 89 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Contrary to what many church people (particularly church "professionals") say, God does not dwell in church, and church doesn't have the franchise on good news. Instead, author Peter Keese proposes the optimistic view that good news is much larger and more all-encompassing than any church can contain or convey, and that good news is everywhere to be found and experienced. In this imaginary dialogue between a traditionalist and his protagonist for a god-in-the-world perspective, Keese's sermons illustrate his conviction that God is out there, inviting us to join in and enjoy the riches of God's life and work. Indeed, as Keese writes, "Jesus has left the building--with all its strictures--and beckons us to come along where life in all its chaotic glory is to be experienced--and enjoyed!"

Download or read book Irresistible written by Andy Stanley and published by Zondervan. This book was released on 2018-09-18 with total page 337 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A fresh look at the earliest Christian movement reveals what made the new faith so compelling...and what we need to change today to make it so again. Once upon a time there was a version of the Christian faith that was practically irresistible. After all, what could be more so than the gospel that Jesus ushered in? Why, then, isn't it the same with Christianity today? Author and pastor Andy Stanley is deeply concerned with the present-day church and its future. He believes that many of the solutions to our issues can be found by investigating our roots. In Irresistible, Andy chronicles what made the early Jesus Movement so compelling, resilient, and irresistible by answering these questions: What did first-century Christians know that we don't—about God's Word, about their lives, about love? What did they do that we're not doing? What makes Christianity so resistible in today's culture? What needs to change in order to repeat the growth our faith had at its beginning? Many people who leave or disparage the faith cite reasons that have less to do with Jesus than with the conduct of his followers. It's time to hit pause and consider the faith modeled by our first-century brothers and sisters who had no official Bible, no status, and little chance of survival. It's time to embrace the version of faith that initiated—against all human odds—a chain of events resulting in the most significant and extensive cultural transformation the world has ever seen. This is a version of Christianity we must remember and re-embrace if we want to be salt and light in an increasingly savorless and dark world.

Book The Teaching Ministry of the Church

Download or read book The Teaching Ministry of the Church written by William Yount and published by B&H Publishing Group. This book was released on 2008-08-15 with total page 482 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The second edition of The Teaching Ministry of the Church makes a major overhaul of its predecessor, increasing the content from eighteen to twentythree chapters and contributors from six to thirteen. These writers assert the need for such an expanded update is due to our everchanging world. For example, the rise of Islamic fundamentalism, proliferation of religious sects, and secularization of our culture greatly increase the importance of ensuring the church produces fully developed, biblically informed followers of Jesus. To that end, The Teaching Ministry of the Church presents a full overview of Christian education in four major sections: Theological Foundations, Biblical Foundations, Preparation for Teaching, and Structuring the Teaching Ministry of the Church. Within this framework, a step-by-step plan for establishing and maintaining an effective teaching ministry among preschoolers, children, youth, and adults takes shape. Key chapters: “The Bible as Curriculum,” “The Church’s Role in Teaching,” “Creating an Unforgettable Learning Experience,” and “Equipping Teachers.”

Book Lies We Believe About God

Download or read book Lies We Believe About God written by Wm. Paul Young and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2017-03-07 with total page 163 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From the author of the bestselling novel The Shack and the New York Times bestsellers Cross Roads and Eve comes a compelling, conversational exploration of twenty-eight assumptions about God—assumptions that just might be keeping us from experiencing His unconditional, all-encompassing love. In his wildly popular novels, Wm. Paul Young portrayed the Triune God in ways that challenged our thinking—sometimes upending long-held beliefs, but always centered in the eternal, all-encompassing nature of God’s love. Now, in Wm. Paul Young’s first nonfiction book, he invites us to revisit our assumptions about God—this time using the Bible, theological discussion, and personal anecdotes. Paul encourages us to think through beliefs we’ve presumed to be true and consider whether some might actually be false. Expounding on the compassion fans felt from the “Papa” portrayed in The Shack—now a major film starring Sam Worthington and Octavia Spencer—Paul encourages you to think anew about important issues including sin, religion, hell, politics, identity, creation, human rights, and helping us discover God’s deep and abiding love.
