Book Raising the Spiritual Light Quotient

Download or read book Raising the Spiritual Light Quotient written by David K. Miller and published by Light Technology Publishing. This book was released on 2011-04-25 with total page 560 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The concept of raising the spiritual light quotient is similar to the intelligence quotient used in modern psychology, the IQ test. However the spiritual light quotient is not the same as intelligence. Rather, the SLQ reflects one¿s ability to understand spiritual concepts, to meditate and to connect with other dimensions. It also is a measurement of one¿s ability to understand the relationship between Earth and the environment of the Earth, and Earth¿s relationship to the galaxy. Finally, it is a measurement of one¿s ability to understand the existence of other dimensions as well as the relationship between the ascended masters and guides and our journey to higher realms for soul evolution. Thus it appears necessary to look at the SLQ of a person, the SLQ of an area and the SLQ of a planet. All of the channeling I bring forth is based on the concept of the Sacred Triangle, which is a new paradigm for spirituality. This paradigm states that in order to heal Earth and bring everything into balance, one must unite the concepts of galactic spirituality with ancient mystical thought and with the energies of native peoples, including Native Americans.

Book Ancestral Sequence Reconstruction

Download or read book Ancestral Sequence Reconstruction written by David A Liberles and published by Oxford University Press. This book was released on 2007-05-31 with total page 267 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Ancestral sequence reconstruction is a technique of growing importance in molecular evolutionary biology and comparative genomics. As a powerful tool for testing evolutionary and ecological hypotheses, as well as uncovering the link between sequence and molecular phenotype, there are potential applications in a range of fields.Ancestral Sequence Reconstruction starts with a historical overview of the field, before discussing the potential applications in drug discovery and the pharmaceutical industry. This is followed by a section on computational methodology, which provides a detailed discussion of the available methods for reconstructing ancestral sequences (including their advantages, disadvantages, and potential pitfalls). Purely computational applications of the technique are then covered, including wholeproteome reconstruction. Further chapters provide a detailed discussion on taking computationally reconstructed sequences and synthesizing them in the laboratory. The book concludes with a description of the scientific questions where experimental ancestral sequence reconstruction has been utilized toprovide insights and inform future research. This research level text provides a first synthesis of the theories, methodologies and applications associated with ancestral sequence recognition, while simultaneously addressing many of the hot topics in the field. It will be of interest and use to both graduate students and researchers in the fields of molecular biology, molecular evolution, and evolutionary bioinformatics.

  • Pages : 556 pages

Download or read book Design of Digital Computers written by Hans W. Gschwind and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 556 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I have been using the first edition of this book as a text for a number of years. This was in a Stanford University first-year graduate course that is taken by students from Electrical Engineering or Computer Science who are interested in computer organization. Because computer tech nology has been changing so rapidly, it became necessary to supplement the text with additional readings. My colleagues and I examined many newly-published books for possible use as texts. We found no book with the same excellent choice of topics and thorough coverage as Dr. Gschwind's first edition. Springer-Verlag's request that I prepare a second edition of this book came at a time when I had many other projects underway. Before I de cided whether to take on the project of preparing a revision, I asked many of my students for their opinions of Dr. Gschwind's first edition. Even I was surprised by the enthusiasm that this rather skeptical and critical group of students displayed for the book. It was this enthusiasm that convinced me of the value and importance of preparing the revision.

Book Seven Q for Success and Satisfaction

Download or read book Seven Q for Success and Satisfaction written by Dr. B Krishnamurthy (BKM) and published by Notion Press. This book was released on 2023-03-09 with total page 158 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How many factors control our life? There are many. But the book deals with the significant seven factors. Intelligence is important for achieving. Understanding self and others needs our emotional awareness. Communicating with others helps maintain the relationship. When we face adversity (challenge), we need to deal with it and bounce back, showing resilience. Keeping a balanced state of mind, irrespective of the life's varying situations, shows our spiritual alignment. Keeping ourselves fit needs focus on our health. All these characteristics are interconnected. A measure of these qualities is called a quotient, like intelligence measured by intelligence quotient. We can have quotients for the rest of the factors. Coming to think of it, we use three elements throughout our life, namely time, energy and money. A judicious use of these elements to support the development and nurturing of the seven factors results in enriching our life. That is the magic. The book is an outcome of insights gained from executive and leadership coaching of scores of leaders across several industry segments. The book deals with the concepts and practices, with a liberal dose of anecdotes. The annexure covers the self-test questionnaire for the six factors (except IQ), guidelines for scoring and a report. These would enable the reader to have a self-assessment and plan for development action. This book will be useful for anyone interested in becoming a holistic and effective person. It helps to achieve success and attaining fulfillment.
