It is strictly imaginational stories from a little girls fanciful mind. It has funny animals with odd names. Linda's animals get into a lot of troubles and yet they really have a good time learning. I think it is a fun book for parents to read to their little ones but I find adults really enjoy reading them also just for the pure pleasure.

Book The Adventures Of The Two Little Frogs Vol 2

Download or read book The Adventures Of The Two Little Frogs Vol 2 written by Noel H. Landriani and published by Peer Leadership Advisory Network. This book was released on 2020-02-10 with total page 224 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Our stories continue with The Adventures of the Two Little Frogs: Volume II, and with it comes another host of valuable lessons and timeless tales that the whole family can learn from and enjoy. In this collection, we are introduced to new characters, such as Mama Frog, while retaining the spirit, wholesomeness, and outrageous comedy of the original series. The Little Boy Frog is at it again with his old antics. He argues with his mother in law, Mama Frog, and refuses to have his hearing checked; this leads to some awkward but hilarious moments as the Little Boy Frog seeks to keep himself in his wife's good graces. As always, he manages to do so by being the kind, caring, and generous amphibian he knows himself to. As our two protagonists meander through their sometimes-complicated relationship, they learn that happiness and the love that binds them together are what truly matters in life. The Little Boy Frog may not always succeed in putting together a grandiose celebration for a holiday or birthday, but at the end of the day it is really about the time that he and his wife are able to spend together. Herein lies one of the most valuable lessons of all; as long as we surround ourselves with the ones we love the most, we are sure to find happiness and fulfillment despite the changes in our lives. This is often found in the simplest of occasions, as the Little Boy Frog often learns these things through casual conversations with his wife during Christmas or while sitting by the fire. He may not be the perfect husband, but when all is said and done, our two little frogs always know what's important, and we can all learn from their stories once again.

And because Little Frog likes being an "Only Frog," the tadpoles (as she's supposed to call them) just get in the way. Little Frog is totally out of sorts. Book Tales of Old Texas or The Adventures of Bullfrog

Download or read book Tales of Old Texas or The Adventures of Bullfrog written by Weldon Reed and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2019-02-08 with total page 141 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In his autobiography, Mark Twain stated, "In the small town of Hannibal, Missouri, when I was a boy, everybody was poor but didn't know it, and everybody was comfortable and did know it." This comment certainly applied to Cleburne, Texas, where Reed grew up from the mid-1940s through the 1950s. At least this was true on his side of town, northeast Cleburne across the Santa Fe railroad tracks. He lived on Sabine Street, and it was still just graveled even when he graduated from high school in 1959. Just about everybody on his street still had outdoor johns even then. Reed has been writing bimonthly articles for his hometown newspaper, the Cleburne Times-Review, since 2016, detailing the zany escapades, ludicrous stunts, and laughable situations he would place himself in from time to time as regular as clockwork. Mix a gullible youngster with a prankster of an uncle and a daredevil father, and anything goes. The incidents were many: a broken arm from falling off a donkey that his Uncle O. B. placed him on, a sore head from attempting to butt down a door after drinking what his uncle said was goat's milk, being put in a jail cell at the age of twelve for stealing a thirty-five-cent wheel bearing for his bicycle, proving pathetic both as a fighter and a football player, he and two friends smoking an entire carton of Luckies in two and a half hours. The list is interminable. Unfortunately, as he grew older, he really did not outgrow this "propensity for absurdity" but continued to demonstrate it on a frequent basis as his family would agree .

Battling the shame of small town rumors, gossip, and poverty, the oldest son earns his family the respect of their townsmen through athletic and military heroism as he grows older, only to see it torn apart by a spoiled rich kid who inherits most of the town from his wealthy grandfather. Out of boredom and greed, this spoiled young man devises a plan to seduce the whole county into growing massive amounts of marijuana to supply the most corrupt men in this country’s underworld. Money will buy almost anything in a small economically depressed town. The hill farmer’s son, now a Vietnam War hero, fights to save what is left of both his family and his corrupt hometown. This young man and his brothers battle the most powerful and influential man in Missouri, who has the law, the newspaper, and the citizens of the town in his back pocket, resulting in a massive man hunt and all-out war for this Vietnam War hero, who uses his Special Forces skills to escape and evade law enforcement while spending the winter in a cave. In the spring he finds true love in both the arms of the reporter sent to cover his story and in God in his almost hopeless battle against overwhelming odds. He destroys the local dope industry only to find he has to put his trust in three special women by turning himself in and letting them do his fighting in court to ultimately bring justice home and have a chance at a normal life with his newfound love.
