[...] Total mortality is calculated as residual biomass estimated from the survey in the year of the assessment divided by the biomass available to the fishery as estimated in the previous year's survey. [...] Over the time series, the estimated commercial biomass from the survey was 29.2% higher than the sum of the residual biomass and the landings of the following year.
