En los últimos años, un buen número de mujeres en el mundo entero se han incorporado al quehacer teológico, y sus publicaciones empiezan a ser reconocidas. Durante muchos años ha sido dirigente de asociaciones femeninas católicas a nivel nacional e internacional. En la actualidad es Presidenta del Foro de Estudios sobre la Mujer.
