Each retiree will need to MANAGE all the components of her retirement investments, health care costs, personal care costs and living arrangements for an estimated 30 year retirement. All the while the government will continue to lessen Social Security and Medicare coverage for the middle class. A married Woman may spend 15 years or more without a partner typically after suffering financially from the crushing long term care costs for their aging spouse. Without proper planning, a woman will surely be thrown into poverty. And when a woman starts to need care, many women will find that their adult children or family are not in a place financially or geographically to assist. Society has shifted tremendous responsibility onto women without creating the tools or assistance needed to be successful. Women have been Ignored! The retirement planning industry was created by men for men. The industry is selling "the get rich quick" gambling on stocks illusion as a complete retirement plan. This is a ridiculous strategy! It is attractive to men that want quick fixes to complicated issues while Wall Street drains your portfolio through commissions and fees. Women will need to manage all the aspects of retirement in this challenging society, watching expenses as much as their investments. IN THIS NEW RETIREMENT, WOMEN MUST ACCEPT THE LEADING ROLE. WOMEN ARE NATURAL MANAGERS. THEY MANAGE THEIR FAMILY'S FINANCES, RELATIONSHIPS AND A HOUSEHOLD. Out of necessity eighty percent of women will find themselves solely responsible at some point in retirement.

Book The Ten Commandments Life Application of the Ten Commandments With Additional Chapters on Sin Salvation Prayer and More

Download or read book The Ten Commandments Life Application of the Ten Commandments With Additional Chapters on Sin Salvation Prayer and More written by Thomas Watson and published by Aneko Press. This book was released on 2020-02-01 with total page 317 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven – Matthew 5:19 Every one of the Ten Commandments is relevant today. Some think of these commandments as the Law of Moses, now replaced by God's grace and mercy, but a closer look reveals that we can't willfully break a single one of the commandments and live. Every one of the commandments wholeheartedly obeyed will produce fruit of righteousness, peace, and spiritual prosperity. Society says "do whatever you want" but a careful study and application of this set of "life principles" will provide boundless fruit for the righteous. Originally written in the 1600's, Thomas Watson's commentary on the Ten Commandments is as relevant today as it was then, if not more so. The text was carefully updated for modern readers, with much care taken to convey the truth in Watson's writings in such a way that readers today can more easily understand his writing, and as such, more easily apply the truth to their own lives. May the Lord God of heaven and earth bless you richly as you read and obey!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The first three of the Ten Commandments are concerned with our love of God. When Christians keep the first three commandments, they are respecting God. The other seven are about our love of one another. If we follow the next seven commandments, we will be keeping the Sabbath day holy. We will be loving our parents. By not killing we reject violence. Not committing adultery and not desiring other peoples partners. By not stealing. By not telling lies we will be promoting truth. By not coveting other peoples possessions we will be acting against greed and materialism. There is more to the Christian life than simply following the Ten Commandments but they are a beginning of following Jesus. We all have a burden of sin that we carry, but the good news is that Jesus died for the forgiveness of sin. He shed his precious blood on the cross so that you and I can be forgiven of our sins and for that burden to be removed. Christians must always follow the life and example of Jesus.
