Download or read book Optimisation de la commande robuste par les m taheuristiques written by Philippe Feyel and published by ISTE Group. This book was released on 2017-05-01 with total page 432 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Commande robuste multicrit re

Download or read book Commande robuste multicrit re written by Marc Jungers and published by . This book was released on 2006 with total page 158 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Commande robuste des systemes non lin aires written by Iyad Balloul and published by . This book was released on 2000 with total page 143 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: CETTE THESE CONCERNE LA ROBUSTESSE DES SYSTEMES NON LINEAIRES.

Download or read book Algorithmes de la commande robuste et impl mentation logicielle written by Alex Murciano and published by . This book was released on 2019 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Optimal Shape Design for Elliptic Systems

Download or read book Optimal Shape Design for Elliptic Systems written by O. Pironneau and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 179 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The study of optimal shape design can be arrived at by asking the following question: "What is the best shape for a physical system?" This book is an applications-oriented study of such physical systems; in particular, those which can be described by an elliptic partial differential equation and where the shape is found by the minimum of a single criterion function. There are many problems of this type in high-technology industries. In fact, most numerical simulations of physical systems are solved not to gain better understanding of the phenomena but to obtain better control and design. Problems of this type are described in Chapter 2. Traditionally, optimal shape design has been treated as a branch of the calculus of variations and more specifically of optimal control. This subject interfaces with no less than four fields: optimization, optimal control, partial differential equations (PDEs), and their numerical solutions-this is the most difficult aspect of the subject. Each of these fields is reviewed briefly: PDEs (Chapter 1), optimization (Chapter 4), optimal control (Chapter 5), and numerical methods (Chapters 1 and 4).

Book An Introduction to Computational Learning Theory

Download or read book An Introduction to Computational Learning Theory written by Michael J. Kearns and published by MIT Press. This book was released on 1994-08-15 with total page 230 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Emphasizing issues of computational efficiency, Michael Kearns and Umesh Vazirani introduce a number of central topics in computational learning theory for researchers and students in artificial intelligence, neural networks, theoretical computer science, and statistics. Emphasizing issues of computational efficiency, Michael Kearns and Umesh Vazirani introduce a number of central topics in computational learning theory for researchers and students in artificial intelligence, neural networks, theoretical computer science, and statistics. Computational learning theory is a new and rapidly expanding area of research that examines formal models of induction with the goals of discovering the common methods underlying efficient learning algorithms and identifying the computational impediments to learning. Each topic in the book has been chosen to elucidate a general principle, which is explored in a precise formal setting. Intuition has been emphasized in the presentation to make the material accessible to the nontheoretician while still providing precise arguments for the specialist. This balance is the result of new proofs of established theorems, and new presentations of the standard proofs. The topics covered include the motivation, definitions, and fundamental results, both positive and negative, for the widely studied L. G. Valiant model of Probably Approximately Correct Learning; Occam's Razor, which formalizes a relationship between learning and data compression; the Vapnik-Chervonenkis dimension; the equivalence of weak and strong learning; efficient learning in the presence of noise by the method of statistical queries; relationships between learning and cryptography, and the resulting computational limitations on efficient learning; reducibility between learning problems; and algorithms for learning finite automata from active experimentation.

This book was released on 2013-06-29 with total page 324 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The aim of this book is to discuss the fundamental ideas which lie behind the statistical theory of learning and generalization. It considers learning as a general problem of function estimation based on empirical data. Omitting proofs and technical details, the author concentrates on discussing the main results of learning theory and their connections to fundamental problems in statistics. This second edition contains three new chapters devoted to further development of the learning theory and SVM techniques. Written in a readable and concise style, the book is intended for statisticians, mathematicians, physicists, and computer scientists.

Book On line Estimation and Adaptive Control of Bioreactors

Download or read book On line Estimation and Adaptive Control of Bioreactors written by G. Bastin and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 2013-10-22 with total page 394 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book deals with monitoring and control of biotechnological processes. Different methods are proposed which are based on the nonlinear structure of the process and do not require any a priori knowledge of the fermentation parameters. The theoretical stability and convergence properties of the proposed algorithms are analysed and their performances are illustrated by simulation results and, in many instances, by real life experiments. The concept of software sensors is introduced; these are algorithms based on the nonlinear model of the process and designed for on-line estimation of the biological variables and/or the fermentation parameters. In order to deal with process nonstationarities and parameter uncertainties, reference is made to adaptive estimation and control techniques. The book is the result of an intensive joint research effort by the authors during the last decade. It is intended as a graduate level text for students of bioengineering as well as a reference text for scientists and engineers involved in the design and optimization of bioprocesses.

Book Reinforcement Learning second edition

Download or read book Reinforcement Learning second edition written by Richard S. Sutton and published by MIT Press. This book was released on 2018-11-13 with total page 549 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The significantly expanded and updated new edition of a widely used text on reinforcement learning, one of the most active research areas in artificial intelligence. Reinforcement learning, one of the most active research areas in artificial intelligence, is a computational approach to learning whereby an agent tries to maximize the total amount of reward it receives while interacting with a complex, uncertain environment. In Reinforcement Learning, Richard Sutton and Andrew Barto provide a clear and simple account of the field's key ideas and algorithms. This second edition has been significantly expanded and updated, presenting new topics and updating coverage of other topics. Like the first edition, this second edition focuses on core online learning algorithms, with the more mathematical material set off in shaded boxes. Part I covers as much of reinforcement learning as possible without going beyond the tabular case for which exact solutions can be found. Many algorithms presented in this part are new to the second edition, including UCB, Expected Sarsa, and Double Learning. Part II extends these ideas to function approximation, with new sections on such topics as artificial neural networks and the Fourier basis, and offers expanded treatment of off-policy learning and policy-gradient methods. Part III has new chapters on reinforcement learning's relationships to psychology and neuroscience, as well as an updated case-studies chapter including AlphaGo and AlphaGo Zero, Atari game playing, and IBM Watson's wagering strategy. The final chapter discusses the future societal impacts of reinforcement learning.

Book Optimal Shape Design

Download or read book Optimal Shape Design written by B. Kawohl and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2000-11-16 with total page 404 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Optimal Shape Design is concerned with the optimization of some performance criterion dependent (besides the constraints of the problem) on the "shape" of some region. The main topics covered are: the optimal design of a geometrical object, for instance a wing, moving in a fluid; the optimal shape of a region (a harbor), given suitable constraints on the size of the entrance to the harbor, subject to incoming waves; the optimal design of some electrical device subject to constraints on the performance. The aim is to show that Optimal Shape Design, besides its interesting industrial applications, possesses nontrivial mathematical aspects. The main theoretical tools developed here are the homogenization method and domain variations in PDE. The style is mathematically rigorous, but specifically oriented towards applications, and it is intended for both pure and applied mathematicians. The reader is required to know classical PDE theory and basic functional analysis.

Book Semigroups for Delay Equations

Download or read book Semigroups for Delay Equations written by András Bátkai and published by A K Peters, Ltd.. This book was released on 2005 with total page 259 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In most physical, chemical, biological and economic phenomena it is quite natural to assume that the system not only depends on the present state but also on past occurrences. These circumstances are mathematically described by partial differential equations with delay. This book presents, in a systematic fashion, how delay equations can be studied in Lp-history spaces.Appendices offering supplementary information and a comprehensive index make this book an ideal introduction and research tool for mathematicians, chemists, biologists and economists.
