Book excerpt: L'objectif principal de notre étude était de déterminer la proportion de femmes qui avaient bénéficié de l'entretien prénatal précoce, et d'identifier les caractéristiques psycho-sociales et obstétricales de ces femmes. L'objectif secondaire était d'étudier les modalités de réalisation de l'EPP. Notre étude descriptive rétrospective portait sur les femmes présentes à la maternité du CHU de Saint Etienne au mois de juin 2017. Un questionnaire leur était présenté, avec des questions générales les concernant, des questions sur leur grossesse, leur accouchement, et le déroulement de leur entretien prénatal précoce. Seulement 30% des femmes enceintes ont bénéficié de l'entretien prénatal précoce. Les primipares avaient significativement plus participé à cet entretien que les multipares, tout comme les femmes de catégorie socio-professionnelle élevée y participaient davantage. Cependant, les femmes qui déclarent avoir eu des difficultés durant leur grossesse ne semblent pas en bénéficier davantage. Notre étude montre que l'entretien prénatal précoce ne semble pas remplir son objectif d'aide aux femmes enceintes vulnérables. Bien que la plupart des entretiens soient globalement respectueux des recommandations de la HAS, cet outil de prévention n'est pas systématiquement proposé à toutes les femmes enceintes. Les femmes présentant des facteurs de vulnérabilité devraient être les cibles de cet entretien.

Cet examen fait partie intégrante des compétences des sages-femmes. Ainsi, les nouveau-nés n'étant pas examinés à la naissance par un pédiatre, nous nous sommes interrogés sur les pratiques des sages-femmes en salle de naissance. Pour cela, nous avons fait le choix de réaliser une étude observationnelle des pratiques professionnelles des sages-femmes lors de la réalisation du premier examen clinique du nouveau-né en salle de naissance. L'étude, réalisée au Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Saint-Etienne, nous a permis d'observer 53 examens néonataux réalisés par 23 sages-femmes. Au travers de cette étude nous avons noté les gestes effectués lors de l'examen du nouveau-né et recherché les éléments pouvant l'influencer. En s'appuyant sur les recommandations nationales et internationales ainsi que sur des ouvrages pédiatriques, nous proposons une ébauche de protocole concernant les gestes à réaliser au cours de l'examen du nouveau-né afin d'optimiser le dépistage en salle de naissance.

The aim of this collection of texts is to propose a number of specific measures member states can take to help adult migrants become acquainted with the language of the host country. The main focus is on organising language courses that meet migrants’ real communication needs. It is not enough for authorities simply to consider the technical aspects of such courses, they should also design and conduct them in accordance with the fundamental values of the Council of Europe. A number of issues concerning the linguistic integration of adult migrants are presented here, beginning with the notion of linguistic integration itself. Family reunion, the nature of citizenship and the function of language tests, among others, are dealt with from the point of view of language and language use. Readers are invited to reflect on the type of language competences that need to be acquired as well as an appropriate use of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The collection also sets out approaches and instruments designed to assist in implementing effective policies.

It is no wonder, then, that Italian arbitration law and jurisprudence are ample and sophisticated. Italian courts have already rendered thousands of judgments addressing complex problems hidden in the regulation of arbitration. Italian jurists have been among the outstanding members of the international arbitration community, starting from when back in 1958, Professor Eugenio Minoli was among the promoters of the New York Convention.
