Book Supreme Realization

Download or read book Supreme Realization written by Anthony Nayagan and published by . This book was released on 2020-05-31 with total page 376 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Supreme Realization, A Journey into the Depths of Conscious Energy Supreme Realization is one-hundred-percent inspired, a real-life journal of a Catholic, an ordinary sinful man who searched for Truth in all religions, even leaving the Church and staying away from it for more than twenty-five years. It is a study of Christianity in light of modern scientific discoveries that recommends a deep-seated approach based on Mystical Theology for people of all religions, for everyday life. It breaks down complex theological and spiritual subject matters such as consciousness and self realization and recommends pragmatic approaches for a fulfilled life in spirituality. It conveys a message that there is hope in Christ. This hope promises healing, prosperity, peace and joy from a spiritual life in Christ with or without the involvement of Churches. Religion is not about authentic conformity to scholarly interpretations of scripture. It is an experience realized. As conformists without questions, we often fall into religious extremism. Such extremism exists in every major religion around the world. What breaks us out of this conformity induced extremism? Our freedom. Freedom to explore the scriptures at deeper level. Such exploration demands that we develop our inner freedom to a level of perfection. With inner freedom, when we explore the Words in every religious text, extraordinary wisdom awaits us. Supreme Realization provides a step-by-step guide to developing perfect inner freedom. The mission of this book is to reach out to all those who have left the Church. Devastating sex scandals and abuses of power have pushed people away from the Church and from God. Meanwhile, the Church continues to recover from its mistakes while failing to go after the people who are leaving. More than half of Americans are disenchanted with the Church, but most of them consider themselves spiritual or religious. Christ, the Good Shepherd, told us to go after that one sheep that was lost. Anthony Nayagan, Secular Catholic "My life experiences did not defeat me. Instead they made me stronger in the joy of gratefulness. In all these experiences, God remained faithful. Every attachment I held on to was based on shaky foundations. These will eventually perish. What is joyous and everlasting is the blessings based on wholesome knowledge; that is, the Wisdom of God." I was a teenage alcoholic. I've suffered homelessness, clinical and spiritual depression, encountered all sorts of abuses as a child, even sexual abuse. I've experienced divorce, loss of children and bankruptcy. This book is the testimony of the real-life transformations of a secular Catholic, not a religious scholar. Anthony Nayagan shares his own experiences and the wisdom he has found in a way that inspires, educates and motivates, and helps you open your own door to the spirituality and consciousness you seek. This book is the result of all those life experiences along with his interpersonal relationship with the Divine.

Book excerpt: Supreme Realization is an honest account of a Catholic; an ordinary sinful man who searched for Truth in all religions, even leaving the Church and staying away from it for more than 25 years. It is a journey towards the realization of Christ within. Supreme Realization, A Journey into the Depths of Conscious Energy, is a study of Christianity in light of modern scientific discoveries that recommends a deep-seated approach to a relationship with Christ based on Mystical Theology. Many readers will likely conclude those as separate things that don't usually share a lot of common ground. In spiritual universe, every theory connects to God, as long as the definitions of the theory go beyond material origins into mystical realms.God consistently revealed His nature to humans through science and enabled science to enrich humankind on Earth. In ancient times God revealed His nature through science in ever increasing ways. During the Victorian era, God helped us refine ordered and structural ways of gaining knowledge and the three-dimensional systems through which we learned about cosmology and how it connects us to God. Such systems enabled us to learn mathematics, science, politics, economics, and industry. Now with modern science, He is revealing to us a fourth dimension, called "Conscious Energy." Find answers to what conscious energy has to do with being a Christian, and what it has to do with my own spiritual journey. How can we leverage this for knowledge, wisdom, and prosperity?

Book God Realization

Download or read book God Realization written by Glen C. Cutlip and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2001-07-24 with total page 171 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Have you ever wondered how it might be that God is to walk with the people of God? Have you really contemplated how that God is the all in all, in you all? Have you ever wondered how God can manifest Itself in an infinite number of places at the same time? Just as the peace of God passeth all understanding, and the love of Christ passeth knowledge, the realization of God passeth the understanding and the knowledge of the dual mind. Accordingly, the understanding and the knowledge of the dual mind must cease, as it were, before the realization of God can manifest itself as it is, not just as it might appear to be. That is, the part, as it were, must be done away in order for the whole to manifest itself The realization of God is the outcome of realizing the Christ Consciousness that dwells at the Core of all being; for we know that at the appearing of the Lord, we shall like unto the Lord, for we shall see the Lord as is, not just as the Lord might appear to be. We can now see how that the Christ dwells within all, whether it is realized or not, for to realize the Christ that dwells at the Core of all being is to realize that it has always been there. Therefore, the realization of God is the realization that God has been, is, and shall forever be right where you are, the all in all, in you all. Thus, God is ever walking with the people of God. It is a matter of realizing how that might be. Now is the time for that realization.

Book Controversial New Religions

Download or read book Controversial New Religions written by James R. Lewis and published by Oxford University Press. This book was released on 2014-07-16 with total page 495 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In terms of public opinion, new religious movements are considered controversial for a variety of reasons. Their social organization often runs counter to popular expectations by experimenting with communal living, alternative leadership roles, unusual economic dispositions, and new political and ethical values. As a result the general public views new religions with a mixture of curiosity, amusement, and anxiety, sustained by lavish media emphasis on oddness and tragedy rather than familiarity and lived experience. This updated and revised second edition of Controversial New Religions offers a scholarly, dispassionate look at those groups that have generated the most attention, including some very well-known classical groups like The Family, Unification Church, Scientology, and Jim Jones's People's Temple; some relative newcomers such as the Kabbalah Centre, the Order of the Solar Temple, Branch Davidians, Heaven's Gate, and the Falun Gong; and some interesting cases like contemporary Satanism, the Raelians, Black nationalism, and various Pagan groups. Each essay combines an overview of the history and beliefs of each organization or movement with original and insightful analysis. By presenting decades of scholarly work on new religious movements written in an accessible form by established scholars as well as younger experts in the field, this book will be an invaluable resource for all those who seek a view of new religions that is deeper than what can be found in sensationalistic media stories.

Book Straight from the Heart

Download or read book Straight from the Heart written by and published by Shambhala Publications. This book was released on 2007-05-11 with total page 576 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Straight from the Heart brings together an inspiring collection of Buddhist teachings, songs of realization, meditation instructions, and enlightened poetry—all chosen for their power to speak directly to the student. Drawn from Indian Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism as well as from all four schools of Tibetan Buddhism, some will impress with their beautiful poetry and powerful imagery, others with their profound power of instruction. Still others share personal advice for life that seems to come directly from the mouth of the author, and some serve as immediate and profound practice instructions. Several are just delightfully unconventional, even outrageous, letting in fresh air on petrified views or musty traditions. Most of them are simply unknown precious gems, which deserve a wider audience. Each of the works is preceded by a brief introduction and a short biography of its author. Many of these are legendary accounts of supernatural feats, edifying examples for students on the same spiritual path meant to expand their limited outlook with "mind-blowing" stories. Miraculous deeds, magnificent songs, and pithy instructions distinguish this collection assembled by the Buddhist scholar and translator Karl Brunnhölzl, whose years of work among dharma texts and his skill as a translator yield a rich mine of teachings all chosen for their ability to speak directly to the heart.
