[...] To determine the state of knowledge and where further research and data analysis are needed, we con- ducted a systematic review of literature on the growth responses of interior tree species to fertilization. [...] Relative growth response of interior spruce to fertilization ranged from 9 to 109% for height, from 75 to 277% for volume, and from 27 to 203% for basal area (Table 1).
