Book The Mysteries of Allah and His Muhammad

Download or read book The Mysteries of Allah and His Muhammad written by Fatai Badmos and published by Strategic Book Publishing & Rights Agency. This book was released on 2016-12-02 with total page 658 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Mysteries of Allah and His Muhammad is indeed a scanty summary of a potentially great debate. However unwieldy or incomprehensible the actual details may be, certain contexts of the whole or part can always be identified for discussion. In the physique of mankind, Allah manifests. He does so on nature glaringly, just as is inferred from various sections of the book. Whilst He does, the divinity of a being “not more than a prophet” is also undoubtedly established. That co-joining of the One and Only Creator and a creation (a man, Muhammad), who coincidentally is most positively and negatively controversial, should interest those who consider man to be the meanest of God’s creations. That we may not discount knowledge of any sort, even that considered most sacrilegious (science), God’s inspiration to a mortal being (Muhammad) corroborates too many ideas put forth by scientists or intellectuals’ discoveries and postulations. What a mystery that the lightbulb, which in theory and description was already encoded in the Quran more than a thousand years ago, before one bulb ever rolled out in a factory! Only simple minds take things for granted and give no thought to the grandiose schemes of our world and its elements. This book serves as a jolt to those who oversimplify “what is” or the mysterious.

Book One Book to Rule Them All

Download or read book One Book to Rule Them All written by Joseph Chad Sycamore and published by Joseph Chad Sycamore. This book was released on with total page 341 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I can draw a 'euphoric warmth' into my body straight from thin air. It’s the same euphoria you feel after a good workout, known as a runner's high. As you are well aware, this sweet, tingly warmth isn't just your body heating up from exercise— it's a wave of joy and energy that starts in your chest and spreads through your whole body, lifting your spirits. We actually feel different versions of this warmth in all sorts of happy moments: soaking up the sunshine, hugging someone we love, or being blown away by an amazing piece of art. In this preface, I'll show how these seemingly unrelated experiences are actually different forms of the same thing— all originating from a single source: God. Surprisingly, everything that makes life breathtakingly beautiful and gives us goosebumps can be traced all the way back to before the Big Bang. However, this profound existential insight is not going to be the book's most crucial aspect. What's really fascinating is that even while perfectly still in a dark and freezing room, without any external stimuli or another person, I can generate this same blissful warmth within a few breaths. You might've heard about monks who can sit on ice for hours without getting cold. Well, this isn't some superhuman ability— it's the power of true meditation, way beyond anything you'll get from a meditation app. That's the reason why monks often choose to be alone: to fully experience this nourishing energy and melt into it for days and nights. However, I believe this warmth is not something to be kept only for oneself; it is a gift meant to be shared and turned into something even greater. So, in my part of the story, I’m delighted to share this book with all of you for free, explaining everything as clearly and simply as I can—from how these experiences connect to God, to how you can tap into this cosmic source of euphoria yourself. You are welcome to share it with friends, neighbors or even your local barista. My hope is that it reaches those who need it most.

The scope of this effort and its impact is not restricted to the India subcontinent, or Asia, but extends to many continents and to a host of Islamic and Non- Islamic States. Book excerpt: When was the last time we really poured our feelings out to Allah? **** We have been taught that the only time we can communicate with Allah is when we are making du’a to Him. Even then, it comes with a set of restrictive rules that puts a ‘barrier’ between Allah and us. The things we recite are verses that we were told to memorise, but rarely do we truly talk to Allah about the troubles that are weighing down our hearts. Because it feels awkward. Thus when we are down and sad, we seek other means for comforting ourselves, but often they offer only temporary respite. We forget that true comfort lies only with Allah. **** In this book, author Ayesha Syahira takes you on a journey of spiritual discovery; of reconnecting with Allah wholeheartedly. The author focuses on nurturing the lifestyle of talking to Allah; of finding comfort by making du’a to Him at any time of the day.

Book Karbala

  • ISBN : 9354970893
  • Pages : 168 pages

Download or read book Karbala written by Premchand and published by Oxford University Press. This book was released on 2022-10-12 with total page 168 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: At a time when communal antagonism was at its peak (1920s), Premchand was perceptive enough to fathom the cause for religious intolerance being rooted in mutual ignorance of communities about each other’s faith. To alleviate this, he decided to write a play about Karbala, a 7th Century event in Islamic history, in which the grandson of Prophet Muhammad, Imam Hussain withstood the brute forces of the debauch ruler Yazid and sacrificed his life along with that of his companions and family members in the battlefield of Karbala, in modern day Iraq. In an unprecedented leap of faith, Premchand’s play draws the Dutt brothers, descendants of Ashwathhama, spending their exile years in Arabia, in the battlefield of Karbala. Inspired by the uprightness of the Imam and bound by their moral duty to justice, the seven brothers join forces with the Imam and sacrifice their lives for him, singing praises of their motherland Bharatwarsh. An illuminating blend of historical facts and imagination, this outstanding play reflects Premchand’s profound and enlightening grasp of the communal conflict in early nineteenth century India and his unique way of imagining the nation along the Gandhian principles of communal harmony and co-existence of religions.

Book excerpt: A RUSA 2007 Outstanding Reference Title The Qur'an is the source of inspiration for one of the world's major religions, followed today by over a billion people. It plays a central role in Islam and ever since it appeared fourteen hundred years ago has been the subject of intense debate. Some of this has been carried out by Muslims and some by those hostile or indifferent to Islam, producing a very wide range of views. Authored by forty-three international experts, the objective of The Qur'an: An Encyclopedia is to present this diversity of thought, approach and school without priority, in order to give a strong appreciation of the range of response that the text has provoked throughout its history and providing students and researchers with a powerful one-volume resource covering all aspects of the text and its reception. Islam and the Qur'an are much in the news today and there is a public debate going on in which things are said about the Qur'an without much knowledge or understanding of the book. Every effort has been made to help the reader use the Encyclopedia as an investigative tool in Quranic studies. The volume assumes no previous knowledge of the Qur'an, Islam or Arabic. Technical terms are explained in the text itself and the style of each entry is designed to be as self-contained as possible. Entries are cross-referenced and many include a brief bibliography. At the end of the work there is a substantial annotated bibliography providing a detailed guide to the most significant books, journals and articles in Qur'anic Studies. There is a full index. The readership will include those seeking basic information on the Qur'an, however the substantial number of longer entries means that it will also be used by specialists.

Book excerpt: This interdisciplinary anthology examines the relationship between developments in biotechnology and both artistic and literary innovation, focussing in particular on how newfound molecular technologies and knowledge regimes, such as CRISPR gene editing, alter conceptions of what it means to be human. The book presents 21 essays, split across four parts, from a coterie of artists, theorists, historians and scientists which examine the symbiotic relationship between humans, animals, and viruses as well as the impossibility of germ-free existence. The essays in this volume are urgent in their topicality, embodying the exhilarating yet alarming zeitgeist of contemporary nonhuman-to-human viral transmission and gene editing technologies. Ultimately, Art and Biotechnology reveals how art and biotechnology influence each other and how art has shaped the discussion around gene editing and the socio-cultural aspects of the Covid-19 pandemic. It is essential reading for students and researchers focussing on science and art, environmental humanities, and ethics.
