Book excerpt: Honestly, it's just common sense: don't ever, for any reason, fall in love with a pirate. No matter how tempting or toe-curlingly gorgeous he is.And especially not when he steals you from your own wedding...One minute, I'm being married off to a horrible, cruel man to sweeten a family business arrangement. And the next? My wedding yacht is being stolen, with me on it, by the powerful, roguish Highlander, Lord Malcolm McAuley.Former pirate. Ex-soldier. Full-time scoundrel. He also happens to be toe-curlingly gorgeous, sinfully tempting, and utterly irresistible.I should want nothing to do with the crude, filthy-talking alpha who's stolen me from my own damn wedding. But the more I tell myself no, the more I want to tell him yes--to anything he wants...Anything.Losing myself in those piercing blue eyes and wickedly perfect lips is dangerous. Giving in to his filthy words and pulse-quickening touch is a sin. He tells me I'm his, and the most sinful thing of all?...I'm pretty sure he's right.Get tempted by tartan and jump right into filthy little fist-full of trope clichés. Hot, over-the-top, alpha af, and WILDLY historically inaccurate. Try not to get hung up on the historical details. Trust me, I didn't ;). Warning: not responsible for lost or ripped bodices. Reader beware. As with all my books, this one is safe, with no cheating, and a HEA guaranteed.

Book excerpt: The role of private actors in policing has become a topic in both research and policy, as police forces face budgetary and expertise-related constraints. These challenges are evident in art crime policing, where a lack of prioritisation often means limited resources are allocated for a crime that requires significant expertise to tackle. Cooperating with private actors has been mooted as a solution to this deficit, but empirical research to support this suggestion is scarce. This book helps fill this gap by examining the interaction between specialist art crime police units and private actors in Belgium, the United Kingdom, and France. Its central questions are whether cooperation already exists in art crime policing, and why, or not. It was found that while limits to police capacity are an important driver for private outreach, several other factors also significantly affect cooperation. This book is relevant for policy, practice, and research, as it examines a hitherto less discussed topic which is nonetheless urgent as art crime shows little signs of abating.

It charts the classic outbreaks, portrays the rich gallery of protagonists, and defines what means there are to combat the disease. Book Vocabulum or The Rogue s Lexicon

Download or read book Vocabulum or The Rogue s Lexicon written by George W. Matsell and published by Good Press. This book was released on 2019-11-25 with total page 138 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: 'Vocabulum; or The Rogue's Lexicon' by George W. Matsell is a fascinating insight into the language used by rogues and criminals, compiled by the former Chief of Police of New York City. Matsell's interest in the language of thieves began as a means of better understanding the criminals he was tasked with apprehending, but soon evolved into a laborious project of compiling a comprehensive lexicon of cant words and phrases. This language, with its roots in the ancient gypsy tongue, has evolved over time to become a vital tool for both criminals and law enforcement alike. This book is a must-read for anyone interested in the history and origins of this intriguing and often misunderstood subculture.

Book The Great Conversion How Paul Stole Christianity From Jesus Christ And Turned It Into An Anti Christ Religion

Download or read book The Great Conversion How Paul Stole Christianity From Jesus Christ And Turned It Into An Anti Christ Religion written by Menelik CC Ngene and published by Menelik CC Ngene. This book was released on 2020-05-11 with total page 129 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Ever wondered why nice talking Christians hate more, discriminate more, kill more, do more evil and commit more financial fraud than any religious people on Earth, cannot obey Christ or ever be like Jesus Christ? Jesus Christ is NOT a Christian. Christians are followers of Paul, not Jesus. They are followers of Paul, a Turkish con man who faked his Christian conversion, appointed himself as an apostle of the Christian faith, used fake credentials to infiltrate the early Christian churches, polluted their teachings with pre existing pagan philosophies, used the name of Jesus to turn Christianity away from Christ, stole Christianity and turned it into an anti Christ religion and left his 419 records as the majority of the bible books you now read in your testament bible books. Interestingly, the letters of Paul has been structurally found to be patterned after the letters the Greek pagans of his days, borrowed from their pagan African compatriots of Egypt, see the G Milligan’s ‘Selections From the Greek Papyri’, 36 as quoted in page XV of Rev William Barclays’ book, ‘The Letters to the Galatians and Ephesians’, by the Saint Andrew press of Edinburg. Rev William Barclay, a doctor of divinity was lecture in New Testament language and literature and in Hellenistic Greek in the University of Glasgow. This explains why over 2000 years after Jesus commanded his followers to love one another, love their neighbours, love their enemies, do good to haters, bless, the cursers, go the extra mile and turn the other cheek of tolerance when faced with oppression, pray for users and abusers of their love. No Christian group has obeyed Jesus Christ and NONE will ever obey him. Discover how Paul stole Christianity from Christ and turned it into an anti Christ religion.
