Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Today i would dare to define all our negative emotions as … spiritual garbage. We could speak about … sadness, shame, helplessness, anger, vulnerability, embarrassment, disappointment, and frustration … and many other issues … which bring a negative impact on our lives. After studying the people from the stage of my life, but also people which i never met in person … I’ve realized that many times the life itself … just sucks … because we allow to be connected and also be dominated… by lots of negative emotions. We accept … into our souls … ugly energies … which have a huge impact on us … on short and long term. And … we not even pay attention to those details. We ignore … the impact. We ignore that something which today looks so, so unimportant… sooner or later will have full control … on ourselves. Yes … truth be told … we are ignorants. We see this dance of contradictory emotions … that is actually controlling our lives … as normality. We not even dare to think of such a concept as …. spiritual garbage. But … you know why?! Cause … everyone … let us believe that this is … normal. And … yes … it’s normal to be surrounded… by garbage. That …. this is part of life. I smile in front of such perceptions. Then … i laugh of myself. I realize … how i’ve wasted my life … allowing myself to have inside myself an universe dominated … by negativity. And … changing all … became … just … a decision … but i was too coward to accept this ugly concept of … spiritual garbage. Even … if all was so, so obvious.

Download or read book IT S ALL AN ILLUSION A KARMIC ONE written by Adrian Gabriel Dumitru and published by Adrian Gabriel Dumitru. This book was released on with total page 117 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Telling that the life itself it’s an illusion, might sound so damn … weird … and most probably … even like a depressive thought. But … you see … there are so, so many moments in life when the life itself just… sucks … and we ask ourselves … what the hell have i done that i deserve that?! And that was the moment when the karmic idea came into my mind … starting to believe that all the lessons of life, sometimes very difficult to handle … could be defined as karmic. All those abstract situations … which totally annoy us … and make our lives miserable… are repeating on and on and on. Believing we are the victims of circumstances … everything it’s never the way we want to be … or even worst. The funny thing that i tried all the time when i was in those weird abstract stories, having the impression that it was the end of the world … i was repeating to myself “It’s all an illusion … and it’s not what it looks like”. My karmic stories … being in fact my stories … and feeling them in such a powerful way … were … Well … don’t even know how to define them, but all i wanted was to get out of those situations and also get rid of the karmic people that i hated so much. And i tried everything … and nothing worked expect smiling … or even laughing in front of those illusions. Deciding to call them … simple … illusions … was probably the best idea i could come with. But the karmic illusions … were powerful messages i had to understand … and i was pretending i could not see behind the abstract. I actually love the abstract, but not when it was part of my life. It was all related with the concept of understanding the meaning of life … and even if i spent lots of time meditating over the subject … when i was on the scene of the real life, i was acting like a football player that studied all the strategies had been ever written about this sport … but … never practiced and in fact never tried to practice it in a good way. So … even if i knew theory … i acted like someone that never heard about spirituality … or about the forces behind reality. In fact …. in the real life, in so, so many karmic moments … i acted like an … idiot. I knew that all i had to do was just to smile in front of those illusory situations … cause there is no other way of fighting. But guess what?! Each time … i was failing. The only progress i made over the years … was that after a while … meditating over what happened … i somehow understood what … illusory … meant. …. that i had to react in a different way. … that was not what it looked like and the lesson of life had to be seen, understood deeper and deeper. But again … theory was so easy and i was failing tests all the time. On and on and on … I was such an idiot not applying all what i knew about life … on the scene of my own life. … and i was paying the price … of living a … miserable life … Everyday something happened and i was fucking my vibe … not realizing there were tests given to me by the Universe. Life was beautiful … and i thought it’s so … ugly. Hahaha … such a silly perspective. Well … it was all a decision of … changing my perceptions … and realizing that anything it could happen it was all a decision of the Divine Intelligence … God … Allah … or however we could name that entity that is everything it exists …. and it was all for our good. The fact that the karmic situations were repeated … was because i was not passing the tests … and i really had to pass those tests. It was all about … my awakening … and i had to start the … process.

Download or read book The Spirit of the Tarot written by Claudine Aegerter and published by Aeon Books. This book was released on 2009-12-31 with total page 544 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is a new exploration of the Tarot, which reveals the esoteric numerological links underlying this ancient system and connects the teaching of the Tarot to the initiatic journey of the Soul. If you are aspiring to connect with the mysteries of our life on this planet or you are already a disciple in some school of spiritual attainment, this is a book which will illuminate your way. As we explore beyond those physical emotional and mental aspects that we call the personality, we find another energy that is not so easy to define and which seems to move us at a deeper level; this is the Soul. When we are receptive to the Soul's mystery we can start to connect to the universal collective energy of the Spirit. The different stages in the fusion of personality and Soul and the unknown, unseen alchemy of transmutation from matter to Spirit are illustrated by the twenty-two cards of the Major Arcana. The symbols are explained and the deeper esoteric meaning of each card is explored with the help of number. This provides practical steps that can be applied to the everyday lives of those who seek greater consciousness. Claudine Aegerter started Transcendental Meditation in 1970, then joined the National Federation of Spiritual Healers, where she realised her abilities to channel. She then started teaching and giving workshops in esoteric subjects. As a leader in her field, a counsellor and a healer, she founded the Connaissance School of Numerology in 1993, bringing unique insights into the initiation of consciousness to many around the world. Berenice Benjelloun has worked as a professional artist, Homeopath, workshop leader and Numerologist. The inspiration and underlying energy behind all her occupations has always been the promotion of the expanding consciousness of mankind. She teaches at The Connaissance School of Numerology and is Vice chair of the Association Internationale de Numerologues.
Download or read book Victorian Types Victorian Shadows Routledge Revivals written by George P. Landow and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2014-07-11 with total page 252 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The importance of typology in the study of early modern literature has long been accepted, yet students of Victorian culture have paid little attention to it. First published in 1980, this study demonstrates how biblical typology, an apparently arcane interpretative mode, had profound effects on the secular culture of the Victorian age: its art, literature and thought. George Landow considers the way in which the average English believer learned to read their Bible in terms of the types and shadows of Christ, the various ways in which Victorian poetry and hymns employed certain imagery, and the use of typological symbolism in narrative poetry, prose fiction, dramatic monologue and non-fiction. In a concluding chapter, he investigates the particularly complex, and often ironic, combinations of typological image and typological structure.

Download or read book The Spirit in the Gene written by Reg Morrison and published by Cornell University Press. This book was released on 1999 with total page 316 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From famines and deforestation to water pollution, global warming, and the rapid rate of extinction of plants and animals--the extent of the global damage wrought by humankind is staggering. Why have we allowed our environment to reach such a crisis? What produced the catastrophic population explosion that so taxes the earth's resources? Reg Morrison's search for answers led him to ponder our species' astonishing evolutionary success. His extraordinary book describes how a spiritual outlook combined with a capacity for rational thought have enabled Homo sapiens to prosper through the millennia. It convincingly depicts these traits as part of our genetic makeup--and as the likely cause of our ultimate downfall against the inexorable laws of nature. The book will change the way readers think about human evolution and the fate of our species. Small bands of apes walked erect on the dangerous plains of East Africa several million years ago. Morrison marvels that they not only survived, but migrated to all corners of the earth and established civilizations. To understand this feat, he takes us back to a critical moment when these hominids developed language and with it the unique ability to think abstractly. He shows how at this same time they began to derive increasing advantage from their growing sense of spirituality. He convincingly depicts spirituality as an evolutionary strategy that helped rescue our ancestors from extinction and drive the species toward global dominance. Morrison concludes that this genetically productive spirituality, which has influenced every aspect of our lives, has led us to overpopulate the world and to devastate our own habitats. Sobering, sometimes chilling, consistently fascinating, his book offers a startling new view of human adaptation running its natural course.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Warning: This book could change the way you live. "Although I've experienced what it's like to get overextended, I've never been poor without options or help," writes Hagmann. "My faith tells me that being a Christian must affect who I am and how I behave with my wealth. Christ has something to say about the way I live my daily life, from how I treat others to how I spend my money." Do you make everyday economic decisions that reflect your Christian faith and values? Or are you "living large" in a material world? Using the story of Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-9) as its inspiration, Climbing the Sycamore Tree is a 6-week study of faithful stewardship. Hagmann uses both scripture and consumer statistics to show how our buying habits often marginalize certain people and perpetuate systems that contradict good stewardship and love for God's creation. Following the experience of the tax collector Zacchaeus, the study seeks to deepen the link between the faith we profess and the lifestyle we live. Designed as a study for individuals or groups, Climbing the Sycamore Tree provides insight into how our economy functions and the connection between how we spend our money and spiritual formation asks provocative, discerning questions about our daily choices calls us to a path of simple everyday living that's in harmony with our Christian beliefs The study is divided into three sections of two weeks each. Each week's readings consist of five lessons and a group session that includes scripture, discussion questions, guides for reflection or activity, and prayer. Open yourself to transformation that more clearly reflects the daily living of the faith you profess!

At the same time, they've been taught that they are inherently flawed and devoid of goodness. Where does that leave us? For Ben DeLong, it left him hiding his skeletons from the monster he believed God to be. This proved to be a perfect recipe for anxiety, depression, and insecurity. But what if God accepts our skeletons? What if he actually embraces them in love? How would that change our outlook? For Ben, it changed everything. This book is about his journey to find what was always true: we are eternally embraced by God, skeletons and all, and he is never letting go.
