Book Generating Neutrosophic Random Variables Based Gamma Distribution

Download or read book Generating Neutrosophic Random Variables Based Gamma Distribution written by Maissam Jdid and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2024-01-01 with total page 9 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In practical life, we encounter many systems that cannot be studied directly, either due to their high cost or because some of these systems cannot be studied directly. Therefore, we resort to the simulation method, which depends on applying the study to systems similar to real ones and then projecting these results if they are suitable for the real system. The simulation process requires a good understanding of probability distributions and the methods used to transform random numbers that follow a regular distribution in the field [0,1] into random variables that follow them, so that we can achieve the greatest possible benefit from the simulation process and obtain more accurate and appropriate results for all conditions that arise. In previous research, we presented a neutrosophical vision of the process of generating random numbers that follow a regular distribution in the field [0, 1] and some techniques used to generate random variables, such as the inverse transformation technique that was used to generate random variables that follow a uniform distribution in the domain [a, b] and the exponential distribution, the rejection and acceptance technique, which was used to generate random variables that follow the beta distribution, and the mixed technique, which was used to generate random variables that follow the Poisson distribution. In this research, we present a neutrosophic study to generate neutrosophic random variables that follow the gamma distribution, a distribution that is frequently used in engineering applications.

Book The Box and Muller Technique for Generating Neutrosophic Random Variables Follow a Normal Distribution

Download or read book The Box and Muller Technique for Generating Neutrosophic Random Variables Follow a Normal Distribution written by Maissam Ahmad Jdid and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2024-01-01 with total page 5 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The focus of operations research is the existence of a problem that requires making an appropriate decision that helps reduce risk and achieves a good level of performance. Operations research methods depend on formulating realistic issues through mathematical models consisting of a goal function and constraints, and the optimal solution is the ideal decision, despite the multiplicity of these methods. However, we encounter many complex issues that cannot be represented mathematically, or many issues that cannot be studied directly. Here comes the importance of the simulation process in all branches of science, as it depends on applying the study to systems similar to real systems and then projecting this. The results if they fit on the real system. So simulation is the process of building, testing, and running models that simulate complex phenomena or systems using specific mathematical models. The simulation process depends on generating a series of random numbers subject to a regular probability distribution in the field [0, 1], and then converting these random numbers into random variables subject to the distribution law. Probability, according to which the system to be simulated operates, using appropriate techniques for both the probability density function and the cumulative distribution function. Classical studies have provided many techniques that are used during the simulation process, and to keep pace with the great scientific development witnessed by our contemporary world, we found that a new vision must be presented for this. Techniques A vision based on the concepts of neutrosophics, the science founded by the American mathematical philosopher Florentin Smarandache. The year 1995, in which new concepts of probabilities and probability distributions are used, as we presented in previous research some techniques from a neutrosophic perspective, and as an extension of what we presented previously, we present in this research a neutrosophic vision of the Box and Muller technique used to generate random variables that follow a normal distribution.

Book Generating Neutrosophic Random Variables Following the Poisson Distribution Using the Composition Method The Mixed Method of Inverse Transformation Method and Rejection Method

Download or read book Generating Neutrosophic Random Variables Following the Poisson Distribution Using the Composition Method The Mixed Method of Inverse Transformation Method and Rejection Method written by Maissam Jdid and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2024-01-01 with total page 9 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Simulation is a numerical technique used to perform tests on a numerical computer, and involves logical and mathematical relationships interacting with each other to describe the behavior and structure of a complex system in the real world over a period of time. Analysis using simulation is a "natural" and logical extension of the mathematical analytical models inherent in operations research, because most operations research methods depend on building mathematical models that closely approximate the real-world environment and we obtain the optimal solution for them using algorithms appropriate to the type of these models. The importance of the simulation process comes in all branches of science, there are many systems that cannot be studied directly, due to the great difficulty that we may encounter when studying, and the high cost, in addition to the fact that some systems cannot be studied directly. The simulation process depends on generating a series of numbers. Randomness subject to a uniform probability distribution over the domain [0,1] , then converting these numbers into random variables subject to the law of probability distribution by which the system to be simulated works, using known transformation methods.

Book Introduction to Neutrosophic Statistics

Download or read book Introduction to Neutrosophic Statistics written by Florentin Smarandache and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2014 with total page 125 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Neutrosophic Statistics means statistical analysis of population or sample that has indeterminate (imprecise, ambiguous, vague, incomplete, unknown) data. For example, the population or sample size might not be exactly determinate because of some individuals that partially belong to the population or sample, and partially they do not belong, or individuals whose appurtenance is completely unknown. Also, there are population or sample individuals whose data could be indeterminate. In this book, we develop the 1995 notion of neutrosophic statistics. We present various practical examples. It is possible to define the neutrosophic statistics in many ways, because there are various types of indeterminacies, depending on the problem to solve.

Book Double Indeterminacy Neutrosophic study of an Approximation Techniques Used to Find Random Variables

Download or read book Double Indeterminacy Neutrosophic study of an Approximation Techniques Used to Find Random Variables written by Maissam Jdid and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2023-01-01 with total page 8 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The main interest in statistical analysis is to generate a series of random variables that follow the probability distribution in which the system under study operates. In almost all simulation tests, we need to generate random variables that follow a distribution, a distribution that adequately describes and represents the physical process involved in the experiment at That point. During the experiment, it may be necessary to simulate a real and perform the process of generating a random variable from a distribution many times depending on the complexity of the model to be simulated in order to obtain more accurate simulation results. In previous research, we presented a neutrosophical study of the process of generating random numbers and some techniques that can be used to convert these random numbers into variables. Randomness follows the probability distributions according to which the system to be simulated operates. These techniques were specific to probability distributions defined by a probability density function that is easy to deal with in terms of finding the cumulative distribution function and the inverse function of the cumulative distribution function or by calculating the values of this function at a certain value, and in reality, we encounter Many systems operate according to these distributions, which requires techniques other than the techniques presented. Therefore, in this research we will present a neutrosophical study of the approximation technique for generating random variables that follow probability distributions known as a complex probability density function.

Book Neutrosophic Statistics is an extension of Interval Statistics while Plithogenic Statistics is the most general form of statistics second version

Download or read book Neutrosophic Statistics is an extension of Interval Statistics while Plithogenic Statistics is the most general form of statistics second version written by Florentin Smarandache and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2022-06-01 with total page 18 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this paper, we prove that Neutrosophic Statistics is more general than Interval Statistics, since it may deal with all types of indeterminacies (with respect to the data, inferential procedures, probability distributions, graphical representations, etc.), it allows the reduction of indeterminacy, and it uses the neutrosophic probability that is more general than imprecise and classical probabilities and has more detailed corresponding probability density functions. While Interval Statistics only deals with indeterminacy that can be represented by intervals. And we respond to the arguments by Woodall et al. [1]. We show that not all indeterminacies (uncertainties) may be represented by intervals. Also, in some cases, we should better use hesitant sets (that have less indeterminacy) instead of intervals. We redirect the authors to the Plithogenic Probability and Plithogenic Statistics which are the most general forms of MultiVariate Probability and Multivariate Statistics respectively (including, of course, the Imprecise Probability and Interval Statistics as subclasses).

Book Neutrosophic Generalized Pareto Distribution

Download or read book Neutrosophic Generalized Pareto Distribution written by Nahed I. Eassa and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2023-01-01 with total page 7 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The purpose of this paper is to present a neutrosophic form of the generalized Pareto distribution (NGPD) which is more flexible than the existing classical distribution and deals with indeterminate, incomplete and imprecise data in a flexible manner. In addition to this, NGPD will be obtained as a generalization of the neutrousophic Pareto distribution. Also, the paper introduces its special cases as neutrosophic Lomax distribution. The mathematical properties of the proposed distributions, such as mean, variance and moment generating function are derived. Additionally, the analysis of reliability properties, including survival and hazard rate functions, is mentioned. Furthermore, neutrosophic random variable for Pareto distribution was presented and recommended using it when data in the interval form follow a Pareto distribution and have some sort of indeterminacy. This research deals the statistical problems that have inaccurate and vague data. The proposed model NGPD is widely used in finance to model low probability events. So, it is applied to a real-world data set to modelling the public debt in Egypt for the purpose of dealing with neutrosophic scale and shape parameters, finally the conclusions are discussed.

Book Algorithm for generating neutrosophic data using accept reject method

Download or read book Algorithm for generating neutrosophic data using accept reject method written by Muhammad Aslam and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2023-01-01 with total page 10 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This paper introduces a novel and innovative approach to simulating random variates from two distinct probability distributions, namely the neutrosophic uniform distribution and the neutrosophic Weibull distribution. The primary objective of this research is to present a cutting-edge methodology for generating random variates by leveraging the accept-reject simulation method, particularly in the context of managing and addressing uncertainty. In addition to introducing the simulation methodology, this work will also provide comprehensive algorithms tailored to these proposed methods. These algorithms are essential for implementing the simulation techniques and will be instrumental in their practical applications. Furthermore, this study aims to explore the relationship between the level of indeterminacy and the resulting random variates. By investigating how varying degrees of indeterminacy impact random variates, we gain valuable insights into the dynamics of these distributions under different uncertainty conditions. Preliminary results suggest that random variates exhibit a trend of decreasing as indeterminacy levels increase, shedding light on the intriguing interplay between indeterminacy and random variate generation.

Book Neutrosophic discrete geometric distribution

Download or read book Neutrosophic discrete geometric distribution written by Rehan Ahmad Khan Sherwani and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2024-01-01 with total page 23 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Uncertainty, vagueness, and ambiguity surround us in many real-life problems and, therefore, always remain under consideration for researchers to quantify them. This study proposed neutrosophic discrete probability distribution as a generalization of classical or existing probability distributions, named neutrosophic geometric distribution. Case studies presented in the paper will help understand the concept and application of the proposed distribution. Several properties are derived, like the proposed distribution’s moment, characteristic, and probability-generating functions. Furthermore, the newly proposed distribution derives properties from the reliability analysis, such as survival function, hazard rate function, reversed hazard rate function, cumulative hazard rate function, mills ratio, and odds ratio. In addition, order statistics for NGD, including wth, the largest, and the smallest order statistics, are also derived from joint, median, minimum, and maximum order statistics. This examination opens the path for managing issues that follow traditional conveyances and simultaneously contain information that is not determined precisely.

Book Neutrosophic Entropy Measures For The Normal Distribution Theory And Applications

Download or read book Neutrosophic Entropy Measures For The Normal Distribution Theory And Applications written by Rehan Ahmad Khan Sherwani and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 16 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Entropy is a measure of uncertainty and often used in information theory to determine the precise testimonials about unclear situations. Different entropy measures available in the literature are based on the exact form of the observations and lacks in dealing with the interval-valued data. The interval-valued data often arises from the situations having ambiguity, imprecise, unclear, indefinite, or vague states of the experiment and is called neutrosophic data. In this research modified forms of different entropy measures for normal probability distribution have been proposed by considering the neutrosophic form data. The performance of the proposed neutrosophic entropies for normal distribution has been assessed via a simulation study. Moreover, the proposed measures are also applied to two real data sets for their wide applicability.

Book Neutrosophic Sets and Systems Vol 26 2019 Special Issue Social Neutrosophy in Latin America

Download or read book Neutrosophic Sets and Systems Vol 26 2019 Special Issue Social Neutrosophy in Latin America written by Florentin Smarandache and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 193 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Latin American Neutrosophic Science Association was created in 2018 as a result of the initiative of a group of university professors from Mexico and Ecuador. The Association has developed an intense work in the investigative context, expression of the capacity that neutrosophy has as a tool for understanding and transformation of reality in social benefit. Neutrosophic sets as a generalization fuzzy set (especially intuitionistic fuzzy sets), allows handling a greater number of situations that occur in reality and becomes a facilitator of the approach to the studied object without undermining its complex and multivariate essence. In this special edition, researchers from six Ecuadorian universities show the results of research projects addressing a wide range of topics related to the social environment of these Higher Education Institutions. The contents include law, criminology, public and administrative management, evaluation of pedagogical scenarios, prospective analysis, artificial intelligence, among other topics. They are many different texts with a common denominator, the social sciences, and their relationship with neutrosophy. The progress of these investigations originates a significant change in the ways of validating and reasoning the proposals, the appreciation of neutrality increases the interpretability and the inferential efficacy from the analysis of the results, which enunciates a methodological, perceptive and objective enrichment in the humanistic sciences in Latin American geographical region.
