In 1769, 1770 and 1771 Harmon Husband was a member of the Lower House of the General Assembly from Orange County, but his presence was, of course, not very agreeable to the Governor, and his conduct while there, if accounts be true, was not calculated to conciliate one of Tryon's temper.
