Book Solving the Puzzling Mystery of the Rapture

Download or read book Solving the Puzzling Mystery of the Rapture written by Tim L. Holcomb and published by . This book was released on 2019-10-02 with total page 72 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Solving the Puzzling Mystery of the Rapture" is a very easy to read book. I intend to use the whole Bible as the picture on a puzzle box. It is much easier to understand Bible prophecy if you study the Old and New Testament together. To many times people take one or two verses and try to form a doctrine . They get the puzzle pieces in the wrong places. If your view or my view do not fit the rest of scripture we need to rethink what we thought. God also hid gold nuggets all through the Bible he expects us to dig for them, he calls them mysteries. I hope that you have as much fun reading about these discoveries as I had in writing about them. The book is written in a spirit of love and not to attack those that may have a different opinion. Let us simply follow God's clues were they lead us.

Most Bible passages about the return of Jesus have nothing to do with the timing of the rapture, and therefore only add to uncertainty if understood incorrectly. This book, however, concentrates on 3 GREAT SCRIPTURAL TRUTHS that were INTENDED to define Rapture timing. These truths will enable you to SOLVE THE PUZZLE. The final section of this book also provides extensive biblical-based suggestions on why churches and individuals should actively prepare for the return of Jesus, and how to accomplish it.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Do the scriptures support a secret Rapture to rescue the Church before the tribulation of the last days, or do believers need to prepare to face a time of persecution that will test their faith? Many Christians have been taught that Jesus Christ will Rapture away believers from the earth before the tribulation of the last days. Many others believe the Church will go through the tribulation and meet Christ in the air at His Second Coming. How do faithful Christians arrive at different conclusions? This book takes a fresh look by weighing the biblical evidence to answer these questions about the Rapture. Lay aside what you have always heard and take an impartial look of what does the Bible really say or doesn’t say. You may be surprised at what you discover. The mystery surrounding the Rapture is explored by addressing six key questions in uncovering whether Christ’s return is marked by one event or two. The two most popular viewpoints, the pretribulation and posttribulation Rapture, will be contrasted in a fair and balanced study. Prepare yourself for what lies ahead for our world. Craig Cordle has spent over thirty-seven years in the teaching ministry with a passion in Bible end-time prophecy. His insight in this area and impartially on the subject provides a unique perspective in addressing questions concerning the Rapture. This book will serve as an invaluable guide in the debate of the timing of the Rapture. 2 2

Book excerpt: The Apostle Paul branded him the man of lawlessness. The Prophet Daniel marked him as a little horn, and a king. John, the author of Revelation, stamped him as a scarlet beast. The Apostle John labeled him Antichrist. Many left behind after the Rapture will be amazed and terrified at his mysterious, yet miraculous reappearance. Who is this troublesome figure that will pervert all that is good and decent and right? Is it possible to solve the number of the Antichrist before he appears? Does the Bible promote or even permit identification of this man of sin who will personify and epitomize the Mystery of Iniquity? Both believers and non-believers have been perplexed and intrigued with these questions for centuries! This book will propel you on an unforgettable voyage to the ancient Roman world, to the very origin and lair of the beast, to the 1st century Church, to the Abyss and back again, to the preemptive death and eternal destruction of Antichrist, to the mesmerizing visions of John, Daniel, and Zechariah, and to high level heavenly counsels. Out of the Abyss will expose and declassify that which has been concealed and classified. To wit: the secret of the beast presumed to be confidential until the body of Christ is taken from this earth. You may not agree with where the journey takes you, i.e. with the conclusions reached. But with all his heart and utmost conviction, the author believes you will enjoy the trip. He proposes that, at the very least, you will be fascinated with the relevance and application of Scripture to some of the most astounding events in human history, both past and future. You will take part in and be enthralled with a partial refitting of the prophetic puzzle.

Book The Otherworlds of Liz Jensen

Download or read book The Otherworlds of Liz Jensen written by Helen Esther Mundler and published by Boydell & Brewer. This book was released on 2016 with total page 245 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The first study of one of the most innovative of contemporary novelists, Liz Jensen, and of the "otherworlds" in her fiction. Liz Jensen, a British author of eight novels, is among today's most innovative writers. Her literary thrillers occupy the terrain between realism and science fiction. This first study of Jensen centers on the very diverse "otherworlds" she creates in each of her novels, which can consist of an indeterminate space of ontological instability, a zone in which real and unreal converge to destabilize the realist text, as in Egg Dancing (1995) and TheNinth Life of Louis Drax (2004). In other novels the otherworld relies on defamiliarization: thus in War Crimes for the Home (2002) the experience of war is transformed by being seen from a woman's perspective. In stillother cases, the otherworld spans the novel's entire topos, as in The Paper Eater (2000), the full-blown utopia at the center of Jensen's oeuvre. Jensen's work approaches contemporary social issues such as religious fundamentalism, ecological disaster, and assisted procreation. Simultaneously, it displays a number of characteristics of erudite fiction, including self-reflexivity, inter- and intratextual reference, parody, pastiche, and burlesque. Notwithstanding the "popular" elements of Jensen's work, Helen E. Mundler's study adopts a rigorously academic approach to it, referencing canonical works but also more innovative texts, particularly by contemporary women writers, as points of comparison. Helen E. Mundler is Senior Lecturer in English Studies at UPEC (Université Paris-Est Créteil) with a research affiliation at the Université Paris-X Nanterre-La Défense.

Book excerpt: There is one wrong assumption that all popular rapture timing views are making. Regardless of whether you are pre-trib, mid-trib, pre-wrath or post-trib, you are making this assumption. Only when we recognise and remove this assumption can we fully comprehend the end-times events in a way that does not contradict any scriptures, and fit them naturally into the timing of the Hebrew feasts--which are still a type and shadow of things to come. In The Forgotten Eighth Day you will discover: * The importance of Daniel's 70th week in God's plan for the last days and how it relates to the Jubilee cycle and the year of Jubilee. * How the 1,260, 1,290, 1,335 and 2,300 days in Daniel fit into the 70th week and God's feast schedule, and in particular why there are 44 days leading up to day 1,335--a curiosity which no theory has been able to adequately explain, until now. * A small range of possible dates for the beginning of the 70th week, the abomination of desolation, the great tribulation, the day of the Lord's wrath, and most importantly, the rapture of the church. * The critical timing indicator that very strongly suggests all these events will be fulfilled in the next decade. * Why the forgotten 8th day of Daniel's 70th week--the Jubilee year that will follow that week of years--is the key to it all.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Will Christians vanish in a rapture? Will seven years of apocalyptic terror overtake those left behind? Will one future Mr. Diabolical—the antichrist—rise to control the world? Will he enter a rebuilt Jewish temple, claiming to be God? Will Earth’s nations attack Israel at Armageddon? Best-selling books like Left Behind and popular apocalyptic movies predict such things. Are they correct? No area of Christianity has been subject to more misguided interpretation than end time prophecy. Millions of Christians sense we are nearing Jesus Christ’s return. Yet when it comes to what the majority thinks will happen during Earth’s last days, and what the Bible actually says will occur, the difference is seismic. With clarity and biblical accuracy, End Time Delusions exposes massive errors now flooding through media and in much of today’s sensational prophecy writing. This book closely examines tightly meshed yet speculative theories about the rapture, seven-year tribulation, antichrist, and the modern Jewish state. This book is no novelty. Buttressed with solid teachings from many of Christianity’s most illustrious scholars, it lets the Bible speak for itself about the past, present, and future.
