Book SOLOMON S TOUCH

Download or read book SOLOMON S TOUCH written by June Naugle and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2005-08-26 with total page 318 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: SOLOMON J. WICKEY · Member of the Old Order Amish faith · Iridologist · Master Herbalist · Born with a God-given gift to heal · Falsely accused of practicing medicine without a license · Widely known throughout the USA and world · Breeds and raises registered Standardbred horses · Happy, fun loving, musician, carpenter, gardener, fisherman; devoted husband, father, brother, friend. Historically, when God decides to send mankind in a new direction, He sends a messenger, or sometimes an entire army to lead the way. Although for thousands of years messengers have been trying to show people the way to achieve perfect, optimal health, each has presented it in a different way, and since God will not be denied, we can expect legions of new messengers shouting with even stronger voices until they finally “get it.” Solomon J. Wickey was sent to deliver the most profound message of all; tap into God’s power to heal by sending a coded signal to the body via silent thought. Solomon has successfully demonstrated this method by restoring health where there was little, if any, hope, and improving the quality of life for tens of thousands. The mere possibility of achieving instant results without pain or debilitating side effects, is exciting for those willing to take charge of their own lives; their own health.

Book Loving Bravely

Download or read book Loving Bravely written by Alexandra H. Solomon and published by New Harbinger Publications. This book was released on 2017-02-02 with total page 240 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As seen on The TODAY Show! “A godsend to anyone searching for, but struggling to find, true love in their lives.” —Kristin Neff, PhD, author of Self-Compassion "Empowering and compassionate, and its lessons are universal." —Publishers Weekly Real love starts with you. In order to attract a life partner and build a healthy intimate relationship, you must first become a good partner to yourself. This book offers twenty invaluable lessons that will help you explore and commit to your own emotional and psychological well-being so you can be ready, resilient, and confident in love. Many of us enter into romantic relationships full of expectation and hope, only to be sorely disappointed by the realization that the partner we’ve selected is a flawed human being with their own neuroses, history, and desires. Most relationships end because one or both people haven’t done the internal work necessary to develop self-awareness and take responsibility for their own experiences. We’ve all heard “You can’t love anyone unless you love yourself,” but amid life’s distractions and the myth of perfect, romantic love, how exactly do you do that? In Loving Bravely, psychologist, professor and relationship expert Alexandra H. Solomon introduces the idea of relational self-awareness, encouraging you to explore your personal history to gain an understanding of your own relational patterns, as well as your strengths and weaknesses in relationships. By doing so, you’ll learn what relationships actually require, beyond the fairytale notions of romance. And by maintaining a steady but gentle focus on yourself, you’ll build the best possible foundation for making a loving connection. By understanding your past relationship experiences, cultivating a strong sense of self-awareness, and determining what it is you really want in a romantic partner—you’ll be ready to find the healthy, lasting love your heart desires.

Lily is a mother and a daughter. And a second wife. And a writer, maybe? Or she was going to be, before she had children. Now, in her rented Brooklyn apartment she’s grappling with her sexual and intellectual desires, while also trying to manage her roles as a mother and a wife in 2016. Vivian Barr seems to be the perfect political wife, dedicated to helping her charismatic and ambitious husband find success in Watergate-era Washington D.C. But one night he demands a humiliating favor, and her refusal to obey changes the course of her life—along with the lives of others. Esther is a fiercely independent young woman in ancient Persia, where she and her uncle’s tribe live a tenuous existence outside the palace walls. When an innocent mistake results in devastating consequences for her people, she is offered up as a sacrifice to please the King, in the hopes that she will save them all. In Anna Solomon's The Book of V., these three characters' riveting stories overlap and ultimately collide, illuminating how women’s lives have and have not changed over thousands of years.

Book Solomon s Surrender

Download or read book Solomon s Surrender written by Michelle Dare and published by Daring Romance LLC. This book was released on 2023-06-21 with total page 226 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Cocky. No word better described Solomon. He projected the playboy image, but only he knew the truth. Deep inside, he wanted what his brother and friends had—a mate. Fifteen hundred years was a long time to be alone. Solomon’s pure vampire bloodline and family name made him desirable, but that didn’t take away the loneliness. Lilah was fiercely independent and distrusting of paranormals out of necessity. Some treated her with contempt because of her half cheetah shifter/half fae heritage. They thought she was beneath them when she was actually superior. Someone was determined to take Lilah’s life, but who was behind the attacks remained a mystery. Solomon fought off the first assault then became Lilah’s sole protector until he uncovered who wanted to harm her. One wanted a mate, and the other didn’t. But fate didn’t ask for their opinion. They could only fight what was meant to be for so long before the inevitable happened. If they managed to stay alive, maybe they would learn what it meant to be fated.

Download or read book Touching for Knowing written by Yvette Hatwell and published by John Benjamins Publishing. This book was released on 2003-09-09 with total page 332 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The dominance of vision is so strong in sighted people that touch is sometimes considered as a minor perceptual modality. However, touch is a powerful tool which contributes significantly to our knowledge of space and objects. Its intensive use by blind persons allows them to reach the same levels of knowledge and cognition as their sighted peers. In this book, specialized researchers present the recent state of knowledge about the cognitive functioning of touch. After an analysis of the neurophysiology and neuropsychology of touch, exploratory manual behaviors, intramodal haptic (tactual-kinesthetic) abilities and cross-modal visual-tactual coordination are examined in infants, children and adults, and in non-human primates. These studies concern both sighted and blind persons in order to know whether early visual deprivation modifies the modes of processing space and objects. The last section is devoted to the technical devices favoring the school and social integration of the young blind: Braille reading, use of raised maps and drawings, “sensory substitution” displays, and new technologies of communication adapted for the blind.
