Book excerpt: This nonfiction work chronicles the last seven years of catastrophic world events during the Obama administration and points out its secret collaboration with socialism worldwide and Russia in particular. Socialist Lies is a quick read thats hard to put down, showing the aggressive role Russia plays in its war against Western civilization and how the Democratic Party is destroying its free enterprise legacy and adopting socialism. Meanwhile, the Republican establishment is being shaken to its core by member anger at its inaction on critical issues. The author sets the stage with the prologue, a firsthand narrative from her unique childhood under socialism in Russia. Then she demonstrates how Marxist theory, which opened a Pandoras Box in the nineteenth century, marched across the globe to the twentieth century. The author calls Marxism a combination of fraud with a utopian concept, which has been used by adventurers, charlatans, and criminals to acquire power. The leader who exemplified all these characteristics was Joseph Stalin. A dogmatic Marxist, brought up within the Islamic culture, Stalin invented the marriage of communism and Islamthe reason we have been dragged into war today; it is the ideology I called Soviet Fascism. Stalin laid out the agenda for a One World Government under the Kremlin auspicesthe agenda of WWIII against Western civilization.

Book The Robin Hood Lies

Download or read book The Robin Hood Lies written by Frank Merlo and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2012-09-29 with total page 308 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Socialists take from the Rich and give to the Poor and the Elites become the Masters of our Universe. The Elites are usually very charismatic and successfully influence the masses by giving good speeches. They seduce our children into believing there is no God, that there is no right or wrong, and that everything is grey. In this political environment, our children do not question President Obamas ties to William Ayers of the terrorist group, the Weather Underground, whom he describes as a mentor; or his vote for Abortion-on-Demand, which was far to the Left of Hillary Clinton. Nor do they challenge the negative attacks on Michelle Bachman who raised 23 foster children and yet is described as a bad person. Together, we are on a path to godlessness if no one stops the Elites from demeaning Christian ministers as old-school, superstitious dinosaurs, who are merely relics from antiquity!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Every day Americans hear of its equality, its fairness, its superiority. The "it", is socialism. All the while, we're told that the free market is rigged, uncaring, misogynistic, unfair, unjust, and racist. We're told that socialism can fix all of this by taking from the rich and giving to the poor, and that all we have to do to find peace, equality, to end sexism, racism, to save the planet, to find utopia, is to replace the free market with socialism. Though few can describe it, a growing number of people call themselves socialists. The media "Burn for Bernie" and lavish praise on AOC. Hate filled, divisive, virtue signaling, hypocritical rhetoric, is ignored by many in the media that agree with the spin. Proselytizing on their behalf, it's supposed to be a common-sense message of compassion spread by television, bias web results, streaming platforms, college professors, the news, politicians, as well as Hollywood. It's no surprise that the movement has spread like a cancer through a one-sided debate full of misinformation. This book offers explanations as to why many, often well-meaning people, are turning to socialism. It focuses mostly on economics, and why socialism falls short of a free market. But it also discusses the pervasive bias that surrounds nearly every aspect of our daily lives. It looks at the reality of outcomes between capitalism and socialism. It focuses on the hypocrisy of America's "new" democratic socialists. I explain why the free market is actually the proven, and more moral system. To keep it simple, I do this through the use of basic statistics, economics, history, current events, and relatable stories. As a father, veteran, MBA, classical liberal, and an all-around history and economics nerd, I felt compelled to speak up about this subject! Our future depends on others understanding basic economics and the dangers of socialism before the promotion of free thought, and the free exchange of goods and ideas, is a relic of the past?

Book Socialism Seriously

Download or read book Socialism Seriously written by Danny Katch and published by Haymarket Books. This book was released on 2015-08-09 with total page 181 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “Katch has done the impossible: he makes socialism sexy . . . eye-opening, inspiring, and funny . . . this book might turn you into a closet socialist” (Judah Friedlander, actor and comedian). Opinion polls show that many people in the United States prefer socialism to capitalism. But after being declared dead and buried for decades, socialism has come to mean little more than something vaguely less cruel and stupid than what we have now. That’s not exactly going to inspire millions to storm the barricades. Danny Katch brings together the two great Marxist traditions of Karl and Groucho to provide an entertaining and insightful introduction to what the socialist tradition has to say about democracy, economics, and the potential of human beings to be something more than being bomb-dropping, planet-destroying racist fools. “The most hilarious book about socialism since Karl Marx and his brother Harpo wrote their joke book.” —Hari Kondabolu, filmmaker and comedian “If The Communist Manifesto and America’s Funniest Home Videos had a baby, it would be Danny Katch’s new book. It’s a hilarious and fun way to think about what’s wrong with our world, how it could be different, and how we might get there. Keep an extra copy of Socialism . . . Seriously in your bag and hand it to the next person who asks you what socialism is all about; as long as that person is not your boss . . . seriously.” —Brian Jones, actor, educator, and activist “A lighthearted, easy read that packs an intro course on socialism into a short volume. With jokes that made me laugh out loud, and a lot of heart. Socialism is for lovers. Indeed.” —Sarah Jaffe, Belabored podcast host

Book excerpt: One of the most powerful, well written and documented books of our time revealing how the Democrat Party's counterfeit outer shell of "caring" and "compassion" cloaks a radicalized, socialist economic and political agenda of hypocrisy and deceit that is progressively harming America. This dangerous liberal agenda is intended to deceive the American people into believing that the left's desired social changes are somehow new, are for the "good" and do not have the undeniable and foreseeable real outcomes that include taking individual freedoms and rights, binding our country to crushing debt and subjugating all Americans, including those on the left, to autocratic tyranny and control. Led by a new cabal of ultra-radical democratic socialists, the Democrat Party is, in reality, pursuing the same Marxist principles that have failed humanity so terribly in the past and are doing so again today. In short, this book exposes the left's socialist agenda of hatred and lies that is destroying America. A highly informative new book extensively supported by real facts and data mostly from our own government - includes a revealing chapter with in-depth science that irrefutably debunks the manmade global warming mega hoax. A must read!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “A very engaging collection of essays that adds much to an evolving literature on the social history of the Soviet Union and broader socialist societies.” —Choice The 1960s have reemerged in scholarly and popular culture as a protean moment of cultural revolution and social transformation. In this volume socialist societies in the Second World (the Soviet Union, East European countries, and Cuba) are the springboard for exploring global interconnections and cultural cross-pollination between communist and capitalist countries and within the communist world. Themes explored include flows of people and media; the emergence of a flourishing youth culture; sharing of songs, films, and personal experiences through tourism and international festivals; and the rise of a socialist consumer culture and an esthetics of modernity. Challenging traditional categories of analysis and periodization, this book brings the sixties problematic to Soviet studies while introducing the socialist experience into scholarly conversations traditionally dominated by First World perspectives.

Download or read book Socialist Escapes written by Cathleen M. Giustino and published by Berghahn Books. This book was released on 2013-03-01 with total page 294 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: During much of the Cold War, physical escape from countries in the Eastern Bloc was a nearly impossible act. There remained, however, possibilities for other socialist escapes, particularly time spent free from party ideology and the mundane routines of everyday life. The essays in this volume examine sites of socialist escapes, such as beaches, campgrounds, nightclubs, concerts, castles, cars, and soccer matches. The chapters explore the effectiveness of state efforts to engineer society through leisure, entertainment, and related forms of cultural programming and consumption. They lead to a deeper understanding of state–society relations in the Soviet sphere, where the state did not simply “dictate from above” and inhabitants had some opportunities to shape solidarities, identities, and meaning.

Book excerpt: During the Cold War it became a dirty word in the United States, but "socialism" runs like a red thread through the nation's history, an integral part of its political consciousness since the founding of the republic. In this unapologetic corrective to today's collective amnesia, John Nichols calls for the proud return of socialism in American life. He recalls the reforms lauded by Founding Father Tom Paine; the presence of Karl Marx's journalism in American letters; the left leanings of founders of the Republican Party; the socialist politics of Helen Keller; the progressive legacy of figures like Chaplin and Einstein. Now in an updated edition, The "S" Word makes a case for socialist ideas as an indispensable part of American heritage. A new final chapter considers the recent signs of a leftward sea change in American politics in the face of increasing and historic levels of inequality. Today, corporations-like other rich "individuals"-pay fewer taxes than they did in the 1950s, while our infrastructure crumbles and the seas rise. The "S" Wordaddresses a nation that can no longer afford to put capital before people.

Book HITLER do you self identify the same as Hitler SOCIALIST S means SOCIALISM

Download or read book HITLER do you self identify the same as Hitler SOCIALIST S means SOCIALISM written by Christina Antioch and published by No Pledge Publishing. This book was released on with total page 656 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Almost everyone (including every "scholar") refers to Hitler as "Nazi" or "Fascist" and not "Socialist." Educational Outreach Programs (EOPs) inspired by Dr. Rex Curry's work are the only services that inform ignorant scholars that "Hitler self-identified as Socialist. He did not self-identify as Nazi, nor as Fascist". No one else provides this vital public awareness. So, if you ever see a sentence like the following one then you know it was from EOPs for Dr. Curry's work: "Hitler didn't call himself Nazi or Fascist, he called himself socialist". The linguistic EOPs above led to many amazing historical discoveries, including revelations about Anne Frank’s Diary; Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf”; Sophie Scholl’s White Rose group; Joseph Goebbels’ “Der Nazi Sozi”; Martin Niemoller’s verse “First They Came For the Socialists”; the swastika symbol; the hexagram (Star of David); and much more! Except for the American Historian Laureate Dr. Rex Curry, every other historian did not see how the USA’s Pledge of Allegiance led to Nazi salutes and Nazi behavior; and how the original pledge’s use of the military salute led to the Nazi salute. Also, historians did not see the similar symbolism of Adolf Hitler's NSV, SA, and SS logos, as compared with the logo of Hitler's party: the National Socialist German Workers Party. Even today, only exceptional scholars with extraordinary skills (e.g. Dr. Curry) are able to discern the “S”-letter shape of the NSV’s logo (The National Socialist People's Welfare; in German: Nationalsozialistische Volkswohlfahrt). The "S" symbolism is almost as difficult to perceive as in Hitler’s Hakenkreuz (hooked cross). It is as undetectable as in the symbols for the SS and SA (Schutzstaffel and Sturmabteilung). All historians did not see (other than Dr. Curry) how Hitler used his party's symbol to represent "S"-letter shapes for "SOCIALIST." Do you not see? Professor Curry transformed the culture of India along with Hinduism and Buddhism. Before Dr. Curry’s discoveries, Buddhists and Hindus published complaints that “Hitler stole their swastika symbol and ruined it and they want to restore respect for their ancient symbol.” Educational Outreach Programs (EOP) about Dr. Curry’s work taught India’s commentators that Hitler’s symbol was not a swastika, and that Hitler never called it a swastika. An upheaval occurred among Buddhists and Hindus in their objections. Now they proudly assert: “Hitler called his symbol a Hakenkreuz (hooked cross), not a swastika. It was not the same symbol. Dr. Curry told us!”

Book Hope Lies in the Proles

Download or read book Hope Lies in the Proles written by John Newsinger and published by . This book was released on 2018-03-15 with total page 240 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: George Orwell was one of the most significant literary figures on the left in the twentieth century. While titles such as 1984, Animal Farm and Homage to Catalonia are still rightly regarded as modern classics, his own politics are less well understood.Hope Lies in the Proles offers a sympathetic yet critical account of Orwell's political thinking and its continued significance today. John Newsinger explores various aspects of Orwell's politics, detailing Orwell's attempts to change working-class consciousness, considering whether his attitude towards the working class was romantic, realistic or patronising - or all three at different times. He also asks whether Orwell's anti-fascism was eclipsed by his criticism of the Soviet Union, and explores his ambivalent relationship with the Labour Party. Newsinger also breaks important new ground regarding Orwell's shifting views on the USA, and his relationship with the New Left and feminism.Focusing on the enduring interest in Orwell and his influence on current political causes, the book is ultimately a unique, nuanced attempt to demonstrate that Orwell remained a committed socialist up until his death.

Book The Case Against Socialism

Download or read book The Case Against Socialism written by Rand Paul and published by HarperCollins. This book was released on 2019-10-15 with total page 325 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A recent poll showed 43% of Americans think more socialism would be a good thing. What do these people not know? Socialism has killed millions, but it’s now the ideology du jour on American college campuses and among many leftists. Reintroduced by leaders such as Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the ideology manifests itself in starry-eyed calls for free-spending policies like Medicare-for-all and student loan forgiveness. In The Case Against Socialism, Rand Paul outlines the history of socialism, from Stalin’s gulags to the current famine in Venezuela. He tackles common misconceptions about the “utopia” of socialist Europe. As it turns out, Scandinavian countries love capitalism as much as Americans, and have, for decades, been cutting back on the things Bernie loves the most. Socialism’s return is only possible because many Americans have forgotten the true dangers of the twentieth-century’s deadliest ideology. Paul reveals the devastating truth: for every college student sporting a Che Guevara T-shirt, there’s a Venezuelan child dying of starvation. Desperate refugees flee communist Cuba to escape oppressive censorship, rationed food and squalid hospitals, not “free” healthcare. Socialist dictatorships like the People’s Republic of China crush freedom of speech and run massive surveillance states while masquerading as enlightened modern nations. Far from providing economic freedom, socialist governments enslave their citizens. They offer illusory promises of safety and equality while restricting personal liberty, tightening state power, sapping human enterprise and making citizens dependent on the dole. If socialism takes hold in America, it will imperil the fate of the world’s freest nation, unleashing a plague of oppressive government control. The Case Against Socialism is a timely response to that threat and a call to action against the forces menacing American liberty.
