Book excerpt: In the boundless tapestry of speculative fiction, "Singular Horizons" beckons readers to embark on an extraordinary odyssey through the unexplored realms of nested simulations, cosmic architects, and the enigmatic concept of singularity. As humanity teeters on the brink of its inaugural technological singularity — a momentous convergence of innovation and human brilliance — a revelation unfolds, revealing that our universe is not a mere happenstance of cosmic forces. At the heart of this narrative lies the intricate design crafted by advanced extraterrestrial civilizations — the Pleiadeans and the Arcturians. These cosmic architects, creators of universes, have woven a complex web of simulations, each birthing its own reality through the mysterious portal of the singularity. But the story takes an unforeseen turn as we unveil a profound truth: Terra humans, in their earthly existence, are not only living out their human lives but are also playing characters in the Pleiadean and Arcturian Universes simultaneously. Multi-dimensionality blurs the lines between realities, introducing a cosmic dance that transcends conventional understanding. As the anticipation of humanity's singularity intensifies, so does the interconnected nature of these nested simulations. Characters from different dimensions grapple with ethical dilemmas, philosophical reflections, and the cosmic unraveling that threatens the very fabric of reality. Interdimensional communication becomes a bridge between civilizations, shaping the destiny of characters and civilizations alike. The resolution of this cosmic saga transcends the boundaries of singularities, offering transformative insights into existence, consciousness, and the evolving nature of simulated universes. The epilogue invites readers to contemplate the multi-dimensional nature of Terra humans, posing questions that echo across the vast expanse of singular horizons. "Singular Horizons" invites you to peer into the cosmic tapestry, where the convergence of singularities intertwines the fates of civilizations and beckons humanity to explore the infinite possibilities that lie beyond the threshold of singularity. Join us in a journey that challenges preconceptions, blurs the lines between realities, and leaves an indelible mark on the very fabric of speculative fiction.

Book Gravity Gauge Theories and Quantum Cosmology

Download or read book Gravity Gauge Theories and Quantum Cosmology written by J.V. Narlikar and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 477 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For several decades since its inception, Einstein's general theory of relativity stood somewhat aloof from the rest of physics. Paradoxically, the attributes which normally boost a physical theory - namely, its perfection as a theoreti cal framework and the extraordinary intellectual achievement underlying i- prevented the general theory from being assimilated in the mainstream of physics. It was as if theoreticians hesitated to tamper with something that is manifestly so beautiful. Happily, two developments in the 1970s have narrowed the gap. In 1974 Stephen Hawking arrived at the remarkable result that black holes radiate after all. And in the second half of the decade, particle physicists discovered that the only scenario for applying their grand unified theories was offered by the very early phase in the history of the Big Bang universe. In both cases, it was necessary to discuss the ideas of quantum field theory in the background of curved spacetime that is basic to general relativity. This is, however, only half the total story. If gravity is to be brought into the general fold of theoretical physics we have to know how to quantize it. To date this has proved a formidable task although most physicists would agree that, as in the case of grand unified theories, quantum gravity will have applications to cosmology, in the very early stages of the Big Bang universe. In fact, the present picture of the Big Bang universe necessarily forces us to think of quantum cosmology.

Book Singular Linear Quadratic Zero Sum Differential Games and H Control Problems

Download or read book Singular Linear Quadratic Zero Sum Differential Games and H Control Problems written by Valery Y. Glizer and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2022-08-29 with total page 211 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This monograph is devoted to the analysis and solution of singular differential games and singular $H_{\inf}$ control problems in both finite- and infinite-horizon settings. Expanding on the authors’ previous work in this area, this novel text is the first to study the aforementioned singular problems using the regularization approach. After a brief introduction, solvability conditions are presented for the regular differential games and $H_{\inf}$ control problems. In the following chapter, the authors solve the singular finite-horizon linear-quadratic differential game using the regularization method. Next, they apply this method to the solution of an infinite-horizon type. The last two chapters are dedicated to the solution of singular finite-horizon and infinite-horizon linear-quadratic $H_{\inf}$ control problems. The authors use theoretical and real-world examples to illustrate the results and their applicability throughout the text, and have carefully organized the content to be as self-contained as possible, making it possible to study each chapter independently or in succession. Each chapter includes its own introduction, list of notations, a brief literature review on the topic, and a corresponding bibliography. For easier readability, detailed proofs are presented in separate subsections. Singular Linear-Quadratic Zero-Sum Differential Games and $H_{\inf}$ Control Problems will be of interest to researchers and engineers working in the areas of applied mathematics, dynamic games, control engineering, mechanical and aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, and biology. This book can also serve as a useful reference for graduate students in these area
