Because I belong to him, I've become a target.Held captive, my memories of Tristan are what keeps me sane.Tristan, Tristan, Tristan, What did he do?Sowing destruction and anger, He might be Hana's doom.He met with a man, Who could help him save his love; But then Tristan became the monster, That was buried deep inside his hear

Book Heir S Journey of Promise

Download or read book Heir S Journey of Promise written by David O. Daulton and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2014-07-25 with total page 205 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Very often, the Father gives to His children special presents! They are given, along with thousands of other blessings, on a daily basis, and if we are truly honest with ourselves and look at these presents, we will be all the more grateful! This is an account based on the facts presented in the Bible, and largely on the prophetic Scriptures. I realize that many in the churchthose who claim to be Christianswill not allow themselves to believe on these Scriptures. This is heartbreaking, for I believe this will be to their great harm! This book will try to convince the reading Christian of how truly dear he or she is to the Father, and how He longs for us to be close to Him in His Son. (And no, it isnt inspired, but God did through His Word turn the lights on!) This is more than a bedtime story for children of all ages. My hope is that it will be a great encouragementfor though we may grow a bit weary in our journey, we still enjoy the good fight. We are very dear to the One who has already won it, and He looks forward to greeting us on the other side . . . And men everywhere should seek Him with a new zeal, for He will soon rise to shake violently the earth! Even so, come Lord Jesus!

Book Heir Force

  • Author : Faith Lane Callis
  • Publisher : WestBow Press

  • Pages : 128 pages

Download or read book Heir Force written by Faith Lane Callis and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2017-02-20 with total page 128 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Heir Force is a Bible curriculum that teaches that God the Father sent his only Son, Jesus, to earth to pay a debt we couldnt pay through his life, death, and resurrection. God the Father appointed Jesus to be heir of all things and seated him at his right hand. All who believe what Jesus did for us by dying in our place and confess their sins to him and ask for his forgiveness are made joint-heirs with Jesus. God has given us the power to become the sons of God! Along lifes journey, we will, as believers, be faced with many joys and trials. Heir Force is analogous with living life before the Lord like we are in basic training or in boot camp. God is our commanding officer. Jesus is the perfect soldier. The Holy Spirit lives in us. The Bible is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. We are to love the Lord with all our hearts, with all our souls, and with all our minds. Ephesians 6:1013 says, Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. The lessons of this curriculum will direct our hearts and minds to the precepts and principles that God teaches through the Bible.

Book To Chester and Beyond Meaning Text and Context in Early English Drama

Download or read book To Chester and Beyond Meaning Text and Context in Early English Drama written by David Mills and published by Taylor & Francis. This book was released on 2023-03-31 with total page 228 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume brings together a selection of the major articles of David Mills (1938-2013), which along with similar volumes by Alexandra F. Johnston, Peter Meredith and Meg Twycross makes up a set of "Shifting Paradigms in Early English Drama Studies". Mills was one of these four key scholars whose work has changed what is known about English medieval drama and theatre. He made major contributions to understanding English medieval theatre in the widest sense but more specifically to the nature and development of medieval plays and their performance at Chester. The scope of his work from manuscript to performance has created new knowledge and insights brought about by his remarkable technical skill as an editor and researcher. His texts of the Chester Cycle of Mystery Plays have become the standard works. In the light of this outstanding research the volume is comprised of four sections: 1. Editors and Editing; 2. Cultural Contexts; 3. Staging and Performance; 4. Criticism and Evaluation. An editorial introduction opens the work.
