Book Simplified Neutrosophic Sets Based on Interval Dependent Degree for Multi Criteria Group Decision Making Problems

Download or read book Simplified Neutrosophic Sets Based on Interval Dependent Degree for Multi Criteria Group Decision Making Problems written by Xu Libo and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 15 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this paper, a new approach and framework based on the interval dependent degree for multi-criteria group decision-making (MCGDM) problems with simplified neutrosophic sets (SNSs) is proposed. Firstly, the simplified dependent function and distribution function are defined. Then, they are integrated into the interval dependent function which contains interval computing and distribution information of the intervals. Subsequently, the interval transformation operator is defined to convert simplified neutrosophic numbers (SNNs) into intervals, and then the interval dependent function for SNNs is deduced. Finally, an example is provided to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method, together with its comparative analysis. In addition, uncertainty analysis, which can reflect the dynamic change of the final result caused by changes in the decision makers’ preferences, is performed in different distribution function situations. That increases the reliability and accuracy of the result.

Book Simplified neutrosophic sets and their applications in multi criteria group decision making problems

Download or read book Simplified neutrosophic sets and their applications in multi criteria group decision making problems written by Juan-juan Peng and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 17 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As a variation of fuzzy sets and intuitionistic fuzzy sets, neutrosophic sets have been developed to represent uncertain, imprecise, incomplete and inconsistent information that exists in the real world. Simplified neutrosophic sets (SNSs) have been proposed for the main purpose of addressing issues with a set of specific numbers. However, there are certain problems regarding the existing operations of SNSs, as well as their aggregation operators and the comparison methods. Therefore, this paper defines the novel operations of simplified neutrosophic numbers (SNNs) and develops a comparison method based on the related research of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. On the basis of these operations and the comparison method, some SNN aggregation operators are proposed. Additionally, an approach for multi-criteria group decision-making (MCGDM) problems is explored by applying these aggregation operators. Finally, an example to illustrate the applicability of the proposed method is provided and a comparison with some other methods is made.

Book Linguistic Approaches to Interval Complex Neutrosophic Sets in Decision Making

Download or read book Linguistic Approaches to Interval Complex Neutrosophic Sets in Decision Making written by LUU QUOC DAT and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 16 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: One of the most efcient tools for modeling uncertainty in decision-making problems is the neutrosophic set (NS) and its extensions, such as complex NS (CNS), interval NS (INS), and interval complex NS (ICNS). Linguistic variables have been long recognized as a useful tool in decision-making problems for solving the problem of crisp neutrosophic membership degree. In this paper, we aim to introduce new concepts: single-valued linguistic complex neutrosophic set (SVLCNS-2) and interval linguistic complex neutrosophic set (ILCNS-2) that are more applicable and adjustable to real-world implementation than those of their previous counterparts. Some set-theoretic operations and the operational rules of SVLCNS-2 and ILCNS-2 are designed. Then, gather classications of the candidate versus criteria, gather the signicance weights, gather the weighted rankings of candidates versus criteria and a score function to arrange the candidates are determined. New TOPSIS decision-making procedures in SVLCNS-2 and ICNS-2 are presented and applied to lecturer selection in the case study of the University of Economics and Business, Vietnam National University. The applications demonstrate the usefulness and efciency of the proposal.

Book Interval Neutrosophic Sets and Their Application in Multicriteria Decision Making Problems

Download or read book Interval Neutrosophic Sets and Their Application in Multicriteria Decision Making Problems written by Hong-yu Zhang and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 16 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As a generalization of fuzzy sets and intuitionistic fuzzy sets, neutrosophic sets have been developed to represent uncertain, imprecise, incomplete, and inconsistent information existing in the real world. And interval neutrosophic sets (INSs) have been proposed exactly to address issues with a set of numbers in the real unit interval, not just a specific number. However, there are fewer reliable operations for INSs, as well as the INS aggregation operators and decisionmakingmethod. For this purpose, the operations for INSs are defined and a comparison approach is put forward based on the related research of interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFSs) in this paper. On the basis of the operations and comparison approach, two interval neutrosophic number aggregation operators are developed. Then, amethod formulticriteria decisionmaking problems is explored applying the aggregation operators. In addition, an example is provided to illustrate the application of the proposed method.

Book Interval valued neutrosophic sets and multi attribute decision making based on generalized weighted aggregation operator

Download or read book Interval valued neutrosophic sets and multi attribute decision making based on generalized weighted aggregation operator written by Zhao Aiwu and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 11 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Neutrosophic sets are powerful logics designed to facilitate understanding of indeterminate and inconsistent information; many types of incomplete or complete information can be expressed as interval valued neutrosophic sets (IVNSs). This paper proposes improved aggregation operation rules for IVNSs, and extends the generalized weighted aggregation (GWA) operator to work congruently with IVNS data. The aggregated results are also expressed as IVNSs, which are characterized by truth membership degree, indeterminacy-membership degree, and falsity-membership degree. The proposed method is proved to be the maximum approximation to the original data, and maintains most of the information during data processing. Then, a method is proposed to determine the ranking orders for all alternatives according to their comparative advantage matrices based on their general score, degree of accuracy and degree of certainty expressed by the aggregated IVNSs. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the applicability and efficiency of the proposed approach.

Book Algorithm for Neutrosophic Soft Sets in Stochastic Multi Criteria Group Decision Making Based on Prospect Theory

Download or read book Algorithm for Neutrosophic Soft Sets in Stochastic Multi Criteria Group Decision Making Based on Prospect Theory written by Yuanxiang Dong and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 18 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: To address issues involving inconsistencies, this paper proposes a stochastic multi-criteria group decision making algorithm based on neutrosophic soft sets, which includes a pair of asymmetric functions: Truth-membership and false-membership, and an indeterminacy-membership function. For integrating an inherent stochastic, the algorithm expresses the weights of decision makers and parameter subjective weights by neutrosophic numbers instead of determinate values. Additionally, the algorithm is guided by the prospect theory, which incorporates psychological expectations of decision makers into decision making.

Book A Method of Determining Multi AttributeWeights Based on Single Valued Neutrosophic Numbers and Its Application in TODIM

Download or read book A Method of Determining Multi AttributeWeights Based on Single Valued Neutrosophic Numbers and Its Application in TODIM written by Dongsheng Xu and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 12 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this paper, the TODIM method is used to solve the multi-attribute decision-making problem with unknown attribute weight in venture capital, and the decision information is given in the form of single-valued neutrosophic numbers. In order to consider the objectivity and subjectivity of decision-making problems reasonably, the optimal weight is obtained by combining subjective weights and objective weights. Subjective weights are given directly by decision makers. Objective weights are obtained by establishing a weight optimization model with known decision information, then this method will compare with entropy weight method. These simulation results also validate the effectiveness and reasonableness of this proposed method.

Download or read book Algebraic Structures of Neutrosophic Triplets Neutrosophic Duplets or Neutrosophic Multisets written by Florentin Smarandache and published by MDPI. This book was released on 2019-04-04 with total page 450 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Neutrosophy (1995) is a new branch of philosophy that studies triads of the form (, , ), where is an entity {i.e. element, concept, idea, theory, logical proposition, etc.}, is the opposite of , while is the neutral (or indeterminate) between them, i.e., neither nor . Based on neutrosophy, the neutrosophic triplets were founded, which have a similar form (x, neut(x), anti(x)), that satisfy several axioms, for each element x in a given set. This collective book presents original research papers by many neutrosophic researchers from around the world, that report on the state-of-the-art and recent advancements of neutrosophic triplets, neutrosophic duplets, neutrosophic multisets and their algebraic structures – that have been defined recently in 2016 but have gained interest from world researchers. Connections between classical algebraic structures and neutrosophic triplet / duplet / multiset structures are also studied. And numerous neutrosophic applications in various fields, such as: multi-criteria decision making, image segmentation, medical diagnosis, fault diagnosis, clustering data, neutrosophic probability, human resource management, strategic planning, forecasting model, multi-granulation, supplier selection problems, typhoon disaster evaluation, skin lesson detection, mining algorithm for big data analysis, etc.

Download or read book Q Indeterminate Correlation Coefficient Between Simplified Neutrosophic Indeterminate Sets and Its Multicriteria Decision Making Method written by Shigui Du and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 8 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Owing to the indeterminacy, incompleteness, and inconsistency of decision makers’ arguments/cognitions regarding complicated decision-making problems, the truth, falsity, and indeterminacy degrees given by decision makers may imply the partial certainty and partial uncertainty information. In this case, a simplified neutrosophic set (SNS) cannot express the uncertainty degrees of the truth, falsity, indeterminacy arguments. To depict the hybrid information of SNS and neutrosophic (indeterminate) numbers (NNs) together, this study presents a simplified neutrosophic indeterminate set (SNIS) to describe the uncertainty degrees of the truth, falsity, indeterminacy, and then based on the de-neutrosophication technology using the parameterized SNSs of SNISs we introduce the q-indeterminate correlation coefficients of SNISs.

Book Possibility Neutrosophic Cubic Sets and Their Application to Multiple Attribute Decision Making

Download or read book Possibility Neutrosophic Cubic Sets and Their Application to Multiple Attribute Decision Making written by Huiling Xue and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 17 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The neutrosophic cubic sets are an extension of the neutrosophic sets on the cubic sets. It contains three variables, which respectively represent the membership degree, non-membership degree and uncertainty of the element to the set. The score function is an important indicator in the multi-attribute decision-making problem. In this paper, we consider the possibility that an element belongs to a set and put forward the definition of possibility neutrosophic cubic sets. On this basis, we introduce some related concepts and give the binary operation of possibility neutrosophic cubic sets and use specific examples to supplement the corresponding definition. Meanwhile, a decision-making method based on the score function of possibility neutrosophic cubic sets is proposed and a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
