This first book in the series centres around their activities and relationships with a rather primitive planet they call Earth which they observe and sometimes interfere with as though it were a Zoo. They revue and alter the Earthlets knowledge of Gods, Science, Technology, Sport, Climate, Environment and everything else sometimes successfully and sometimes disastrously but always with an impish sense of mischief. This is the Universe that will make scientists and others sit up and think again. Well that is the hope of the Aliens at least!

Book Bye Bye Baby Boy Big Boy Blues

Download or read book Bye Bye Baby Boy Big Boy Blues written by Denis Hayes and published by PartridgeIndia. This book was released on 2014-04 with total page 217 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: They are the generations who should really have been the most screwed up. But they weren't! They survived the horrors of great wars, monster depressions, savage recessions, rationing, bombing, living for years in holes in the ground, persecuted, deprived and bankrupt. They should have been crazy in a normal world but somehow ended up normal in a crazy world. This is the story of a family and in particular one boy who endured it all, grew up, and sort of triumphed. It is not a book to be read and understood in the context of the 21st century. It relates to events long gone but not forgotten. If this book makes anybody understand and think again then the writer will feel he has had a measure of success. Book Misadventures of Wunderwear Woman Down Under

Download or read book Misadventures of Wunderwear Woman Down Under written by Denis Hayes and published by Partridge Publishing Singapore. This book was released on 2014-09-29 with total page 166 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As always Wunderwear Woman is a special breed. She is not anorexic, rippling with muscles and totally hardbodied. She doesnt collapse at the sight of Kryptonite, nor turn into a fly or spider, neither does she fly in the air or run up walls to destroy a hundred opponents in just a few seconds. Some may say she just blunders in whereas in reality she only wants to speak her mind and tell it as she sees it. In the first book she was single and based in the UK while in the second she was married and living in the USA. In this the third book she visits Australia with her in-laws. She has slimmed and trimmed, but not too much and has modified her approach but not too far. She is still very bold and upfront but in a more controlled way. She wants to change the world, make it a better place and still dares to say the things too many hardly dare to think. She faces the facts as she sees them and faces the people who need to be faced. She has developed her style to let others into her opinions. She sets the scene for others to explode and have a lot more to say for themselves than previously. The results are just as comical and just as serious. This is an adult book, humorous, satirical and sexually explicit with strong language in places dealing with all the issues of the past, present and future times. Things that adults do! Beware! Wunderwear Woman is not for the smug, contented and fainthearted and is specifically designed to irritate the conservatives and politically correct. Enjoy the world of Wunderwear Woman.

She doesn't collapse at the sight of Kryptonite, or turn into a fly or spider, nor does she fly in the air or run up walls to destroy two hundred opponents in thirty seconds. Some might say she just blunders in whereas in reality she only wants to speak her mind and say it as she sees it. In the first book she was based in the UK. Here she is based in the USA. She is happily married, has slimmed down and has a more thoughtful but still forthright approach. She is still big, bold, upfront and in your face. She wants to change the world and dares to say things others hardly dare to think. She faces the facts as she see them and faces the people who need to be faced. In the first book the characters who surrounded her mainly fed her the lines. In this book her companions have a lot more to say for themselves. This is an adult book, humorous, satirical and sexually explicit with strong language in places. Things that adults do! Wunderwear Woman is not for the smug, contented and fainthearted and is specifically designed to irritate the conservatives and politically correct. Enjoy the world of Wunderwear.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: They were the generations who should really have been the most screwed up but they weren`t! They survived the horrors of great wars, monster depressions, savage recessions, rationing, bombing, living for years in holes in the ground, persecuted, derived and bankrupt. They should have been crazy in a normal world but somehow ended up normal in a crazy world. Everything started badly yet they had the guts to lift themselves up and get out to help to restore a ruined planet. This is a continuation of the story that began in the book 'Bye Bye Baby Boy Big Boy Blues'. The story of a family and in particular one boy who endured it all, grew up and sort of triumphed. Who went out to put himself and things back together. It covers very different ground from that of the localised territory of the first book but in the same down to earth way. This envelopes the world and people in a very different manner to that described in most books. Ordinary people in extra-ordinary situations with their feet still firmly on the ground, characters that emerge full of life, fun, ability and humour.

Book Sascha Martin s Time Machine

Download or read book Sascha Martin s Time Machine written by Nichol John Arthur and published by John Arthur Nichol. This book was released on 2019-04-30 with total page 50 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the past! "With vibrant illustrations, witty verse, and engaging interactive elements, this story will keep younger kids engaged and leave older ones (and their parents) laughing their heads off." (A. C. Spahn, author of the Endurance series and the upcoming Arcane Artisans series.) Science fiction the way kids love it: wild, unexpected, and packed with laughter! Hands-on science that scientists can only dream of. A kids' sci-fi misadventure that will have you in stitches. It's funny too. It’s News Day again for Sascha Martin, Landfill Public School’s inventive 8 year old, and a new invention brings his classmates face to face with the living, breathing, stomping, chomping, leaping, climbing, gnashing, slashing megafauna (really big animals) that lived in Australia 12,000 years ago. Plus a ring-in from much, much earlier, and he’s not happy at all! Life back then was all about not being eaten, and the challenge is almost too much for Sascha, Luca, and Mary-Alice, and Mr Jack and Mrs Barnum, and all the other teachers and children swept up in Sascha’s new Show and Tell miscalculation. This hilarious, epic sequel to Sascha Martin’s Rocket-Ship adds a new twist to the time travel genre, poking the boundaries of science fiction and taking children where no child has gone before - to a school overrun by enormous prehistoric creatures. With a Read-Aloud function that you can toggle on and off, kids can follow along as the text highlights in sync with the voice. And it’s a voice you’ll recognise, if you’ve listened to the free audiobook of Sascha Martin’s Rocket-Ship. Australian voice artist Jesse Emma returns to breathe life and rhyme and rhythm into Sascha’s Martin’s second misadventure - every word of it - and to show you how to pronounce the names of all those prehistoric animals. It's a break for your own voice, too, amid endless demands of “read it again!” But wait! There’s more: Sascha Martin's Time Machine is educational too! At the end of the book you'll find profiles of the prehistoric animals featured in the story, with information to fuel any child’s curiosity. And if you want, the animal profiles can be read aloud, just like the story, by the voice of Jesse Emma. Sascha Martin's Time Machine combines poetry, story, sound, rhyme and rhythm, pictures, text and animation, in a concoction that children won't be able to resist ... not that they'll want to. Here are some early reviews of Sascha Martin’s Time Machine from Amazon:* It's full of interactive excitement & surprises! (Donutmail) Exciting, interactive, and educational too ... a great read and definitely worth the expense!!! (Frances K) Another hilarious Sascha Martin adventure - this time with interactive images! (A. C. Spahn) Awesome rhymes, lots of laughs and smiles, awesome fun facts, amazingly detailed illustrations. This book is fun for kids and those who just don't want to grow up alike. (madeleine bell - Amazon UK) I just read this book and it's great fun! Fanastical story with fantastic artwork. ... Probably appropriate for middle-grade readers or younger ones who just enjoy wild adventures with some prehistoric creatures... (Zara G) My two-year-old who loves dinosaurs enjoyed it very much. (A. C. Spahn) Wonderful story, beautifully illustrated ... My 3-year-old loved the first Sascha Martin story, and Time Machine is a new favourite. ... it's both fun and educational. (Silje Evjenth Bentsen) Do you like koalas, echidnas, wombats and kangaroos? Come and meet their giant cousins from the last Ice Age! Plus some of the biggest, most fearsome predators you've never heard of. It's like Jurassic Park meets Taronga Zoo, and an adventure that could only happen in Australia. Get your copy now and plunge into the Pleistocene!
