Book Deep Learning Methods for Automotive Radar Signal Processing

Download or read book Deep Learning Methods for Automotive Radar Signal Processing written by Rodrigo Pérez González and published by Cuvillier Verlag. This book was released on 2021-06-28 with total page 136 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. For autonomous driving to become a reality, future sensor systems must be able to not only capture the vehicle’s environment, but also to provide semantic information. In this work, deep learning methods, meant to enhance—or even replace—the classical radar signal processing chain, are developed and evaluated in the context of automotive applications. For this purpose, state of the art computer vision approaches are adapted and applied to radar signals in order to detect and classify different road users.

Book National Signal Timing Optimization Project

Download or read book National Signal Timing Optimization Project written by and published by . This book was released on 1982 with total page 56 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This report summarizes the results of the National Signal Timing Organization Project initiated by the Federal Highway Administration as a fuel conservation effort. The objectives of this project are: 1) to establish credible data on the effectiveness of signal timing optimization; 2) to make signal timing optimization projects easier to do; and 3) to define the resources (cost, level of staff, computer, etc.) required to undertake a signal timing optimization project, so that traffic engineers and administrators can more effectively budget for this activity. The project consisted of the development of the TRANSYT-7F signal timing optimization program User's Manual, and training course, and application of the program in 11 cities nationwide to evaluate the effectiveness of the poptimized signal timing plans and to collect data on the needed resources.
