A young girl of feeling self conscious, lack of purpose, materialism and taking many things for granted her cancer diagnosis flipped her world upside down. It changed her as a person forever but for a good reason. Her determination inspired many, she wanted to share her personal story with the world in hopes people will understand, relate and be more aware of the real issues and stigma’s that surround cancer in todays society. She found through the power of her mind and within herself that she serves a purpose and that she can recover even when the odds were so against her. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From the very first moment Saratu met Bindul, he made her believed that she was more than any other woman he had ever seen in the world. He bathed her with love, bathed her, bathed her and finally drowned her completely into his love. Saratu loves him with the truest love of her heart. As matter-of-factly, they were head over heels in love. They admired each other, they adored each other, they allured each other, they liked each other, they want each other, they need each other, they beseechingly desired each other and they loved each other like politicians with corruptions. They declared their love for each other and not so long they stood in front of an overfilled church congregation to publicly declare their love for each other in a one-in-town society marriage. They swam in their love and lived very, very comfortable and happily in love. Saratu wasn't in need of anything, even sex. Bindul gave her all the practical part of love, the love that was made in heaven for a woman, that kind of love that made her feel as though she was the only EVE with the only ADAM in this modern world and she was wholly dependable on it. Like King Solomon to his wives and concubines, Bindul lavished Saratu with the sweetest lovely words and praises. He gave her all that she needed in life. But when Saratu later discovered that her husband was still madly in love with Jimikat, his primeval girlfriend, things wasn't the same again for her. Their loveliest sex-packed marriage suffered a temporary drought of sex. Saratu first run to her dear friend, Dakmikat for help. Despite doing everything, her husband clung onto Jimikat like a tick to a cow. But at the end, when Bindul brought the two of them together, the problem was solved and Saratu and Jimikat became very, very good friends and lived very happily under the spell of Bindul.

Book Amelia s Way

  • Release :
  • ISBN : 0620578866
  • Pages : 242 pages

Download or read book Amelia s Way written by and published by Andre Heyns. This book was released on with total page 242 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Some might say we are what we inherit. Others may suggest that one ought to ponder over where we come from, claiming that it serves as a moral compass and guides us on our journey through life. Our lives would scarcely be interesting if we were able to predict the details of our destination. Instead one should savour the experiences and embrace the journey. Amelia Binneman was a farmer's daughter, a Boer woman whose light shone brightly. From the outset she had a clear perception of the life she wanted, a life etched in her dreams and expectations. One night of passion during her final year at school changed everything. All the dreams she had and the pledges she ever made, were in jeopardy. It prompted her into leaving the Cape Colony and joining her parents on a journey to Springfontein, a remote village in the Republic of the Orange Free State, where they began farming. The story is told against the background of the Anglo Boer War in 1899 and describes Amelia's journey of survival, taken by women and children. It tells of the gold rush on the Witwatersrand and how the leaders chose war while grasping at greed, allowing the option of peace to pass them by. It explores the lives of ordinary people who were caught up in the turmoil of this war, some of whom were incarcerated in refugee camps. It tells of an intrepid group of people, who abandoned their farm to escape the dominance of the British, and who were given refuge by a Koranna tribe in a settlement near the Basotholand border. It is here that Amelia meets the benevolent Chief Thaba and the intimidating Pulani, a sangoma with whom she forges a relationship and discovers a remarkable cure for one of the many ailments that ravaged the lives of children during the war. After learning that her mother Helena and companion Mieta were captured and relocated to a new camp at Norvals Pont, Amelia and her son Daniel attempt a daring mission to rescue them. The story describes the events that led Amelia's father Christoffel Binneman, to assist Generals De la Rey, De Wet and others, before they assembled at Melrose House in Pretoria on the 31st May 1902, to sign the Peace Treaty of Vereeniging. It describes the futility of this war.
