Whatever the day whatever the year, when they time travel it is always for the same reason -- to secure time. The first book ends with a confirmation that all securities established on time travel were indeed instituted. However, there is still a mystery or the “glitch in time” that the GHOST must solve. It is cause of major concern involving the safety of even our present time.
