The animal showed extensive lesions Of tuberculosis in the lungs, liver, and other parts Of the body. Investigation revealed that the cow had been sent to the city by a dairyman who was delivering the milk from his herd to an orphan asylum Of the city, and also that the milk was not pasteurized.
