Book Segmentation d images par approches multi agents

Download or read book Segmentation d images par approches multi agents written by Fatma Laribi and published by Univ Europeenne. This book was released on 2016-11 with total page 84 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Une approche multi agents pour la segmentation d images associant estimation et valuation written by Corneliu Spinu (auteur en informatique).) and published by . This book was released on 1997 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Metaheuristic Algorithms for Image Segmentation Theory and Applications written by Diego Oliva and published by Springer. This book was released on 2019-03-02 with total page 229 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book presents a study of the most important methods of image segmentation and how they are extended and improved using metaheuristic algorithms. The segmentation approaches selected have been extensively applied to the task of segmentation (especially in thresholding), and have also been implemented using various metaheuristics and hybridization techniques leading to a broader understanding of how image segmentation problems can be solved from an optimization perspective. The field of image processing is constantly changing due to the extensive integration of cameras in devices; for example, smart phones and cars now have embedded cameras. The images have to be accurately analyzed, and crucial pre-processing steps, like image segmentation, and artificial intelligence, including metaheuristics, are applied in the automatic analysis of digital images. Metaheuristic algorithms have also been used in various fields of science and technology as the demand for new methods designed to solve complex optimization problems increases. This didactic book is primarily intended for undergraduate and postgraduate students of science, engineering, and computational mathematics. It is also suitable for courses such as artificial intelligence, advanced image processing, and computational intelligence. The material is also useful for researches in the fields of evolutionary computation, artificial intelligence, and image processing.

Book Variational and Level Set Methods in Image Segmentation

Download or read book Variational and Level Set Methods in Image Segmentation written by Amar Mitiche and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2010-10-22 with total page 192 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Image segmentation consists of dividing an image domain into disjoint regions according to a characterization of the image within or in-between the regions. Therefore, segmenting an image is to divide its domain into relevant components. The efficient solution of the key problems in image segmentation promises to enable a rich array of useful applications. The current major application areas include robotics, medical image analysis, remote sensing, scene understanding, and image database retrieval. The subject of this book is image segmentation by variational methods with a focus on formulations which use closed regular plane curves to define the segmentation regions and on a level set implementation of the corresponding active curve evolution algorithms. Each method is developed from an objective functional which embeds constraints on both the image domain partition of the segmentation and the image data within or in-between the partition regions. The necessary conditions to optimize the objective functional are then derived and solved numerically. The book covers, within the active curve and level set formalism, the basic two-region segmentation methods, multiregion extensions, region merging, image modeling, and motion based segmentation. To treat various important classes of images, modeling investigates several parametric distributions such as the Gaussian, Gamma, Weibull, and Wishart. It also investigates non-parametric models. In motion segmentation, both optical flow and the movement of real three-dimensional objects are studied.
