Book Segmentation d images

  • Pages : 151 pages

Download or read book Segmentation d images written by RIAD.. KARA FALAH and published by . This book was released on 1995 with total page 151 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Multi Sensor Imaging and Fusion Methods Evaluations and Applications volume II

Download or read book Multi Sensor Imaging and Fusion Methods Evaluations and Applications volume II written by Zhiqin Zhu and published by Frontiers Media SA. This book was released on 2024-07-24 with total page 208 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Multi-sensor image fusion focuses on processing images of the same object or scene acquired by multiple sensors, in which various sensors with multi-level and multi-spatial information are complemented and combined to ultimately yield a consistent interpretation of the observed environment. In recent years, multi-sensor image fusion has become a highly active topic, and various fusion methods have been proposed. Many effective processing methods, including multi-scale transformation, fuzzy inference, and deep learning, have been introduced to design fusion algorithms. Despite the great progress, there are still some noteworthy challenges in the field, such as the lack of unified fusion theories and methods for effective generalized fusion, the lack of fault tolerance and robustness, the lack of benchmarks for performance evaluation, the lack of work on specific applications of multi-sensor image fusion, and so on.

Book Multisensor Fusion

  • Author : Anthony K. Hyder
  • Publisher : Springer Science & Business Media
  • Release : 2012-12-06
  • ISBN : 9401005567
  • Pages : 929 pages

Download or read book Multisensor Fusion written by Anthony K. Hyder and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 929 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For some time, all branches of the military have used a wide range of sensors to provide data for many purposes, including surveillance, reconnoitring, target detection and battle damage assessment. Many nations have also attempted to utilise these sensors for civilian applications, such as crop monitoring, agricultural disease tracking, environmental diagnostics, cartography, ocean temperature profiling, urban planning, and the characterisation of the Ozone Hole above Antarctica. The recent convergence of several important technologies has made possible new, advanced, high performance, sensor based applications relying on the near-simultaneous fusion of data from an ensemble of different types of sensors. The book examines the underlying principles of sensor operation and data fusion, the techniques and technologies that enable the process, including the operation of 'fusion engines'. Fundamental theory and the enabling technologies of data fusion are presented in a systematic and accessible manner. Applications are discussed in the areas of medicine, meteorology, BDA and targeting, transportation, cartography, the environment, agriculture, and manufacturing and process control.

Book Aggregation and Fusion of Imperfect Information

Download or read book Aggregation and Fusion of Imperfect Information written by Bernadette Bouchon-Meunier and published by Physica. This book was released on 2013-04-17 with total page 283 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book presents the main tools for aggregation of information given by several members of a group or expressed in multiple criteria, and for fusion of data provided by several sources. It focuses on the case where the availability knowledge is imperfect, which means that uncertainty and/or imprecision must be taken into account. The book contains both theoretical and applied studies of aggregation and fusion methods in the main frameworks: probability theory, evidence theory, fuzzy set and possibility theory. The latter is more developed because it allows to manage both imprecise and uncertain knowledge. Applications to decision-making, image processing, control and classification are described.

Download or read book Progress in Pattern Recognition Image Analysis Computer Vision and Applications written by Isabelle Bloch and published by Springer. This book was released on 2010-11-02 with total page 588 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Pattern recognition is a central topic in contemporary computer sciences, with continuously evolving topics, challenges, and methods, including machine learning, content-based image retrieval, and model- and knowledge-based - proaches, just to name a few. The Iberoamerican Congress on Pattern Recog- tion (CIARP) has become established as a high-quality conference, highlighting the recent evolution of the domain. These proceedings include all papers presented during the 15th edition of this conference, held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in November 2010. As was the case for previous conferences, CIARP 2010 attracted parti- pants from around the world with the aim of promoting and disseminating - going research on mathematical methods and computing techniques for pattern recognition, computer vision, image analysis, and speech recognition, as well as their applications in such diverse areas as robotics, health, entertainment, space exploration, telecommunications, data mining, document analysis, and natural language processing and recognition, to name only a few of them. Moreover, it provided a forum for scienti?c research, experience exchange, sharing new kno- edge and increasing cooperation between research groups in pattern recognition and related areas. It is important to underline that these conferences have contributed sign- icantly to the growth of national associations for pattern recognition in the Iberoamerican region, all of them as members of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR).
