Download or read book Security Lughnasadh Elite Academy 12 written by Layla Heart and published by Easily Distracted Media. This book was released on 2020-11-11 with total page 103 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: One threatening letter, a whole house in disarray. After Rune received a letter threatening that someone would kill them on their wedding day, Litha and her mates have to reorganise their whole lives. They’ve been living in bliss for the last months, but the letter sharply brings into focus that even though the war is over, they’ll never be truly safe from people wanting to get rid of them. Especially not after the wedding and Bane and Kit’s crownings, when they’ll officially be ruling all the kingdoms at once. While Terra, a commander from the old dragon rebel army, has declared herself head of the brand new royal security team, Litha and the others want Bastet, the woman who used to protect Litha back in the human world, to become their house manager. Bastet’s first task? Hire staff for the household, and vet them, in just a few weeks, while also coordinating with the wedding planning and other upcoming events. Between the changes in the household, their classes, and their little family, the lovers have another important thing to take care of, Kit’s birthday, which is only a few days away… This is the twelfth novella in the Lughnasadh Elite Academy serial, a reverse harem #WhyChoose story. This novella may include any of these elements: steamy scenes, ‘I need tissues NOW’ moments, cries of ‘why, oh, why’ and cliffhangers that make you bite your nails (and curse the author). This story includes MF, MM and also FF scenes, but everyone is primarily focused on Litha and there are no sexy scenes between the guys and the other girl.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The most comprehensive study available of neo-pagan religious movements in North America and Europe. Modern Paganism in World Cultures collects the work of specialists in religion, folklore, and related fields to provide a comprehensive treatment of the movement to reestablish pre-Christian religions. Detailed accounts of the belief systems and rituals of each religion, along with analysis of the cultural, social, and political factors fueling the return to ancestral religious practice, make this a rich, singular resource. Scandinavian Asatru, Latvian Dievturi, American Wicca—long-dormant religions are taking on new life as people seek connection with their heritage and look for more satisfying approaches to the pressures of postmodernism. The Neopagan movement is a small but growing influence in Western culture. This book provides a map to these resurgent religions and an examination of the origins of the Neopagan movement.

Book A Source Book of Scottish Witchcraft

Download or read book A Source Book of Scottish Witchcraft written by Christina Larner and published by Zeticula. This book was released on 2005 with total page 356 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: First published in 1977 and now reprinted in its original form, A Source-book of Scottish Witchcraft has been the most authoritative reference book on Scottish Witchcraft for almost thirty years. It has been invaluable to the specialist scholar and of interest to the general reader. It provides, but provides much more than, a series of lists of the 'names and addresses' of long-dead witches. However, although it is widely quoted and held in high esteem, few copies were ever printed and most are owned by libraries or similar institutions. Until now, it has been difficult to obtain and even more difficult to buy. In 1938, George F. Black, a Scotsman who was in charge of New York Public Library, published A Calendar of Cases of Witchcraft in Scotland 1510-1727. This was a fairly comprehensive compilation of brief accounts of references, in printed sources, to Scottish witchcraft cases. The Source-book built upon this study but went beyond it by including, through an examination of actual ancient manuscripts, information on previously unpublished cases. It also presented the material in a more systematic way in relation, where known, to the names of the accused witches, their sex, their fate, the place of the case, its date and the type of court that dealt with it. Some such information is presented in the form of tables. Transcriptions of documents pertaining to witchcraft trials- such as examples of the evidence of supposed witnesses, and other salient legal documents - including, for instance, an ancient account of when and why the testimony of female witnesses might be legally acceptable in Scottish courts - are also presented.

Book Omega Phoenix Claimed Her Shifter Harem s Babies 1

This book was released on 2020-09-23 with total page 281 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Cyra, a rare Omega phoenix shifter, has had a rough week, to say the least. First, two playboy Alphas, a hydra and a griffin, start showing up at the cafe she works at. Their teasing making her all hot and bothered, no matter how much she tries to ignore them. And then she accidentally accepts to play a princess at a spoiled shifter kid’s birthday party, where her crappy old car promptly breaks down. Luckily, or maybe she’s just cursed, a cerberus and a centaur Alpha are there to save the day and give her a ride home. For years, Cyra has managed to hide herself from other shifters, pretending she’s human. Because she doesn’t want her parents to marry her off to a rich asshole Alpha for money and status or to be kidnapped and bred like some other rare Omega shifters. She wants her freedom, to be able to make her own choices, and both of those things are taken away the moment she’s mated. Once she’s claimed by an Alpha, she’ll become that Alpha’s property, and she refuses to live like that. But now everything she’s worked so hard for is falling apart around her. Money is tight, and with her crappy car constantly needing repairs, she won’t be able to afford the medication she needs to stay hidden from shifters, especially with the mating season only weeks away. So she makes a reckless decision and takes the cerberus and the centaur up on their offer to be their date to the yearly Night Gala, an exclusive shifter event for bachelor Alphas, Betas and Omegas, though it’s not uncommon for humans to attend too, as ‘dates’ or serving staff. Their offer is too tempting, one night of boring chats while looking pretty, and all her money problems will be solved. That is, until the hydra and griffin Alphas also appear at the Night Gala and everything goes to hell… This is the first book in the Her Shifter Harem’s Babies series, a paranormal Omegaverse reverse harem #WhyChoose story. This book may include any of these elements: steamy scenes, ‘I need tissues NOW’ moments, cries of ‘why, oh, why’ and cliffhangers that make you bite your nails (and curse the author). ??This story includes MF and MM scenes.

Book Omega Phoenix Hunted Her Shifter Harem s Babies 2

Download or read book Omega Phoenix Hunted Her Shifter Harem s Babies 2 written by Layla Heart and published by Easily Distracted Media. This book was released on 2020-12-16 with total page 291 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Freshly mated Omega Cyra and her four Alphas are being hunted, by Cyra’s parents, the media and the police... At the yearly Night Gala, an exclusive event for rich shifters, four Alphas catch Cyra’s Omega scent and react to her instinctively, recognising her as their mate. They don’t know what to make of it at first, but as the party is not a place to talk privately, especially not with so much paparazzi around, they decide to sneak off and find a better place to figure out what’s happening. Cyra, a rare Omega phoenix, has been hiding herself from the shifter world for years because she wants to live her own life and not be constantly controlled by an Alpha. As soon as an Alpha mates an Omega, the Omega becomes that Alpha’s property and Cyra refuses to live like that. More importantly, when an Alpha reacts to an Omega’s scent in an instinctive way, it means that they’re fated mates and belong together. Or, well, that’s how it works normally, when you’re not a rare shifter type and your parents aren’t crazy rich... According to the law, there’s one thing more important than an Alpha marking their fated Omega and that is if the Omega is already promised to a different Alpha by the Omega’s parents. Marking and mating a promised Omega is illegal and punished harshly. After Cyra and her four Alphas, hydra Zack, griffin Spence, cerberus Max and centaur Liam, have been spotted sneaking away from the Night Gala, their pictures are plastered all over the shifter gossip media. And, out of nowhere, Cyra’s parents show up, claiming that Cyra has been missing for years and that the four Alphas have kidnapped her. Even worse, Cyra’s parents claim that they had already chosen an Alpha for Cyra, that she has been promised to someone for years, even if Cyra didn’t know about it. Of course, Cyra and her four Alphas only find out about the promised Alpha after Cyra has gone into heat and the four have already mated her, marked her as theirs. They never kidnapped Cyra, no matter what Cyra’s parents are claiming in the media, but they are now breaking a much more serious law, the law of illegally mating a promised Omega. If they’re found out, they could end up in jail, or worse, dead, leaving Cyra vulnerable to whatever insidious plans her parents have for her and the four Alphas can’t let that happen. Which is why Cyra and her fated Alphas are now on the run from Cyra’s parents, the drama hungry media, who are exploiting this situation to the fullest, and the police... This is the second book in the Her Shifter Harem’s Babies series, a paranormal Omegaverse reverse harem #WhyChoose story. This book may include any of these elements: steamy scenes, ‘I need tissues NOW’ moments, cries of ‘why, oh, why’ and cliffhangers that make you bite your nails (and curse the author). ??This story includes MF and MM scenes.

Book Astrology and Cosmology in the World s Religions

Download or read book Astrology and Cosmology in the World s Religions written by Nicholas Campion and published by NYU Press. This book was released on 2012-06-11 with total page 285 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When you think of astrology, you may think of the horoscope section in your local paper, or of Nancy Reagan's consultations with an astrologer in the White House in the 1980s. Yet almost every religion uses some form of astrology: some way of thinking about the sun, moon, stars, and planets and how they hold significance for human lives on earth. Astrology and Cosmology in the World’s Religions offers an accessible overview of the astrologies of the world's religions, placing them into context within theories of how the wider universe came into being and operates. Campion traces beliefs about the heavens among peoples ranging from ancient Egypt and China, to Australia and Polynesia, and India and the Islamic world. Addressing each religion in a separate chapter, Campion outlines how, by observing the celestial bodies, people have engaged with the divine, managed the future, and attempted to understand events here on earth. This fascinating text offers a unique way to delve into comparative religions and will also appeal to those intrigued by New Age topics.
