Download or read book Secrets of Christian Leadership Success written by Lawrence Ativie Osifo and published by Createspace Independent Publishing Platform. This book was released on 2017-06-12 with total page 126 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Foundational Knowledge It is the perfect and divine plan of the God of all creations that all His creations; prosper and have good successes. BUT the instrument for measuring Christian Leadership Success is "Spirit-o-meter." Any attempt to apply "Flesh-o-meter" will only end the leader up in disgrace. In other words; Christian Leadership success is not judged with the same standard as the worldly leadership success. The principles are different; the destinations and the rewards also differ. The methods and styles of leadership in the world of unbelievers are not the same as methods and styles of leadership in the Christendom. The worldly methods and styles may give you immediate and great results; BUT such schemes do not stand the test of times. The worldly success does not enter into eternity in the Heaven where Christ dwells. The main agenda for this book is committed to helping Christian leaders to successfully enter into their heavenly home; and not after leading others to enter; they themselves are cast out; being told at the gate; "I never knew you: depart from me, you who worked iniquity." That will be an eternal disgrace. In Luke 10:20; Jesus was quick to caution His disciples; "do not only rejoice that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, that your names are written in heaven." But it seems that many Christians today have; kind of; lost the consciousness and the desire for their names to be written in heaven. This is exactly where many Christian leaders are failing in this era. Many Christian leaders are ignorantly applying the methods of the world for acquiring successes in the Church. The application of the worldly standard to acquire success as a Christian; places the believer as the enemy of the Holy God. The Holy bible book of James 4:4; clearly says this; "You adulterers and adulteresses, do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore, will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." The causes of Christian Leaders successes and the reasons for their failures will continually be pointed out and as well addressed as matters arising in every chapter of this book. The cures for the failures; which are actually the secrets; are in the fate of individual believers; as the scripture says in 2Timothy 2:19; that the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal; the Lord knows them that are His. And, let everyone that calls on the name of Christ depart from iniquity. The successes made by some Christian leaders are largely determined by the foundational knowledge divinely acquired; and imbibed by such leaders. Anyone who began in truth with a sincere mind in the Spirit of the Holy God and continue in the word of the Righteous God will definitely succeed at last. The world most acclaimed successful leader of the Christians is "Jesus the Christ." He is the one every true Christian leader desires to be like. In Him and from Him are the secrets needed by any leader to truly succeed. He knew so much about the future events; and He said; in warnings to His disciples; in the bible book of Matthew; chapter twenty-four; verse five, that; many will come in My name; saying; 'I am the Christ, ' and they will be leading many astray. In the bible records of Luke chapter twenty-one; verse eight; He said, "Take heed that you are not led astray; for many will come in my name, saying, 'I am he!' and, 'The time is at hand!' Do not go after them. In Luke chapter twelve verse fifteen; the Lord Jesus Christ said; "Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life is not in the abundance of the belongings which he possesses." The phrase; "Beware of covetousness"; stands clearly out as number one profound statement and secret for successes which any thoughtful leader must jealously treasure on the way up; and to balance up.

Billy Graham looms large as one of the twentieth century's most influential and innovative leaders. Most people are unaware of his remarkable effectiveness as not only preacher and pastor, but as a CEO and a global leader as well. Drawing strength from the idea that the shepherd is the single most important factor that makes the difference between success and failure in Christian ministries, the book discusses a series of factors that could ensure a successful ministry for the Christian leader from the time he first receives his calling from God to the time he finishes his life's course. Download or read book Leadership In the River written by Chris Walsh and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2021-02-10 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In God we trust? It is a pertinent question answered by this book, for trust comes from believing something, and belief is another word for faith. The Bible says that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God, so the purpose of this book is twofold: To equip ministers to better understand the often brutal law of the jungle that the business world has become and to see Jesus as King of the Jungle, a mighty warrior who fights for our families, our businesses, and our churches. To further equip successful business owners in their growth in mature Christian leadership. I believe the greatest need in the world is seasoned Christian leaders, who honestly care about the people they lead and the impact they have on their communities and society as a whole. Yet, in many cases there has been a great disconnect between successful business leaders and the local churches they attend. There are legitimate reasons for this in many cases: I have met successful business-people that have honestly stated: "If I ran my company financially the way that they run this church, I would be bankrupt in 30 days Where does a Christian leader go for help? Are there relevant answers in the Scripture for real world challenges? To the pastor trying to effectively minister to the business community in their area, AND to the business owner honestly determined to make an eternal difference in their calling through their business, this book is written for them. The heart of this book came from an encounter the author had with his pastor in 2007. A wealthy businessman had come forward for prayer at a church service at Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, led by the legendary Billy Joe Daugherty. Pastor Billy Joe asked the author to join him in praying for this beleaguered businessman, and he looked the man in the eye and said: "Sir, why don't you join one of our small group Bible studies?" The leader looked Billy Joe in the eye and said: 'Billy Joe, you know I can't do that. I have money, and every time I give Christians access to my life, they treat me like a walking ATM, constantly looking for me to pay for their latest missions trip or outreach. I would rather stay home and watch a movie with my family' I interjected: '" Exactly! Seems that about every missionary in town drops by my office when they are in town looking for a donation, it would be good if there was a Bible study where leaders could actually study Gods Word for answers, without getting hit on for money." Then Billy Joe looked me in the eye and said: 'That's a great idea, why don't you start something'. So I did. With one of my business partners initially, we began to meet Tuesday mornings from 7:30-8:30AM at the local coffee shop, and in 2008, we met until the summer of 2021.We read the book together, "The Richest Man Who Ever Lived: King Solomon's Secrets to Success, Wealth, and Happiness' by Stephen K Scott. The gist of his book is this: find a group of 6-10 people who will commit to reading a chapter of Proverbs every day, and putting it into practice in their homes and businesses. Since there are 31 chapters of Proverbs, it puts you through this book every month, our weekly Bible studies were simple to schedule: .If that a particular Tuesday falls on the 15th of the month, we read Proverbs 15 that morning, each of us reading 2-3 verses, and at the end, each person shares what they got out of that particular reading, or anything else the Lord might put on their heart. Over that 12 year period, meeting weekly with leaders in both business and ministry, and reading the chapter of the day, and deliberately seeking God for wisdom.Prayer has been answered and God gave us a portion of His excellence, Holy Spirit-led leaders, fully grounded in the Word of God, are the greatest need of this generation.
