Two other guests are checking in today. Tracis fiance, Peter Mudd, and a mysterious Douglas DuPont. Through a mix up of room numbers, a sweries of mistaken identities ensues. Candy, the hotel receptionist is bribed by Beatrice to flirt with Peter, but ends up with Douglas. Douglas, who is actually an innocent travel writer for a destination wedding publication, is mistaken for a federal agent from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Candys report to Beatrice introduces a roller coaster of events creating an on again-off again wedding. In the midest of all this mayhem,Bubba and Beatrice appear to be falling in love. Peter and Traci are reconciled (Several times), and Audrina and Douglas find they have a strong attraction for each other. Book Sandcastles Made Simple

Download or read book Sandcastles Made Simple written by Lucinda Wierenga and published by ABRAMS. This book was released on 2019-03-15 with total page 373 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A step-by-step guide to building elaborate and impressive sandcastles with a basic understanding of sand and a few simple tools. A crenellated turret here, a winding, arched staircase there, maybe even a giant turtle—fairy tale ideas are at the heart of every sandcastle. Summer after summer, children and adults alike make valiant efforts to infuse their sandy structures with such inspiration, but the results are generally disappointing. With Sandcastles Made Simple, Lucinda “sandy feet” Wierenga, a renowned sand sculptor, puts a permanent end to less-than-perfect beach creations. She provides the ultimate step-by-step guide to building impressive sandcastles, and shows that with a few simple tools and a basic understanding of sand, building dream castles can be easy. The book features instructions for each of the architectural elements—base, staircase, roof, balcony, and more—that can be combined to fashion one-of-a-kind castles. Also included are two projects designed specifically for younger children. Like a shovel and pail, Sandcastles Made Simple is an on-the-beach necessity.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Now a major motion picture starring Cole Sprouse and Haley Lu Richardson! Goodreads Choice Winner, Best Young Adult Fiction of 2019 In this #1 New York Times bestselling novel that’s perfect for fans of John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars, two teens fall in love with just one minor complication—they can’t get within a few feet of each other without risking their lives. Can you love someone you can never touch? Stella Grant likes to be in control—even though her totally out of control lungs have sent her in and out of the hospital most of her life. At this point, what Stella needs to control most is keeping herself away from anyone or anything that might pass along an infection and jeopardize the possibility of a lung transplant. Six feet apart. No exceptions. The only thing Will Newman wants to be in control of is getting out of this hospital. He couldn’t care less about his treatments, or a fancy new clinical drug trial. Soon, he’ll turn eighteen and then he’ll be able to unplug all these machines and actually go see the world, not just its hospitals. Will’s exactly what Stella needs to stay away from. If he so much as breathes on Stella she could lose her spot on the transplant list. Either one of them could die. The only way to stay alive is to stay apart. But suddenly six feet doesn’t feel like safety. It feels like punishment. What if they could steal back just a little bit of the space their broken lungs have stolen from them? Would five feet apart really be so dangerous if it stops their hearts from breaking too?

Book The Way Under Our Feet

Download or read book The Way Under Our Feet written by GRAHAM B. USHER and published by SPCK. This book was released on 2020-04-16 with total page 137 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Walking is one of the simplest things we do as humans. It’s how most of us experience life. In The Way Under Our Feet, Graham Usher conveys how exhilarating it is to walk into the depths of our humanity. We become more ready to recognize the needs as well as the joys of others; we sift our thoughts; we seek to heal our battered world, even as we glory in the beauty of nature; we find ourselves companying with our three mile an hour God. ‘This is a lovely book, full of light, grace and meaning. Usher celebrates his passion for walking by exploring religious texts and stories, but this by no means confines his thoughts. We are drawn by secular texts, too: Macfarlane sits alongside Kierkegaard; Thoreau and Walden alongside T. S. Eliot. Through them all, we learn why walking is so unspeakably good for heart, soul and body.’ DAME FIONA REYNOLDS, MASTER OF EMMANUEL COLLEGE, CAMBRIDGE, AUTHOR OF THE FIGHT FOR BEAUTY ‘Wonderful. Offers highly original and striking observations combined with apposite, moving and often humorous personal anecdotes. A classic, catching a genuine and humble holiness.’ BISHOP DAVID WILBOURNE

Book A Practical Manual of Diabetic Foot Care

Download or read book A Practical Manual of Diabetic Foot Care written by Michael E. Edmonds and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2008-04-15 with total page 248 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Winner of ‘BMA Book of the Year’ in 2004 Judges’ summary of the book: “This is a first-class text on the management of all aspects of the diabetic foot. It is a practical guide with information and advice, which is easy to access. It takes the reader through the natural history of the diabetic foot from the normal foot and relatively minor pathology to the end stage of infection, gangrene and ultimately amputation. The various stages with the book’s structure have case studies to highlight the clinical management problems encountered by diabetes foot specialists....Much of the text is broken up with bullet points, chapters and sub-chapters which allow the reader to pick out information from quick scans of the book. There is liberal use of illustrations throughout the book, which is particularly important as diabetic footcare is a specialty which is particularly reliant on observation. The book also details the ‘how to do it’ aspects rather than vague reference to what is required. It also uses the published evidence for its recommendations but, where this is lacking, the authors draw on their extensive experience of managing diabetic feet to guide the reader.” This book is a practical clinical manual for the diagnosis, treatment - both medical and surgical - and the long-term care of foot problems in people with diabetes. The authors are world-renowned experts in this subject and they present the internationally recognized best practice. The clinical chapters are presented in a structured, color-coded format to allow easy reference. The text also includes highlighted best clinical practice tips. Each chapter is accompanied by high-quality, full-color photographs that provide excellent examples of the earliest presenting signs as well as illustrating the step-by-step guidance on treatment. This book is an essential manual for every healthcare professional involved in the care of patients with diabetes.
