Part 2 of my memoir will be published soon.The second book in the Rising Stronger Series(tm): Loving and Essential Paths to Healing After Losing a Child(tm), is possible through the collaborative efforts of contributors, writers, and editors. The stories in this book are told by amazing women I have known or who have been in my inner circle for 20-43 years. The stories act as a conscious awakening of love, and a heartbreaking reminder of how precious life is. These women will forever be connected by invisible badges of bravery, resilience, and tenacity. They live by an unquestionable energy and passion to keep the faces of their children alive. In doing so, they share how they have been managing their lives after enormous losses.The courage demonstrated by the contributors in allowing readers into their lives is an indication of their desire to live beyond the heartbreaking experience of losing a loved one. Recognizing that there is nothing they could have done to prevent the events is a way of acknowledging a desire to heal. By writing their stories, they express their willingness to keep Rising Stronger(tm). I am in no way an expert on grief. However, like our contributors and readers, my knowledge of the topic is pragmatic due to the loss of my grandparents, father, brother, best friend, and other close relatives and friends. If you are a mother who is terrified of losing a child, perhaps this book can explain the importance of seeking help before it's too late. Thank you for your continued support. Keep Rising Stronger.
