Book excerpt: From photographs taken during the Voyager 1 flight to SATURN in 1980 the reader of this remarkable book sees that one of the photgraphs shows that the A-ring is incomplete. The author sets out to explain this phenomenon in an understandable form. The famous Cassini and Enke gaps also fit into the author's explanation. The micro photography employed by the Author answers many of the questions about Saturn asked since Galileo and the Author further shows a relation to the well defined crater on the earth's moon called 'Mare Orientale' and to the 1908 Tunguska catastrophe in the U.S.S.R. CREDENTIALS: Dr. Norman Bergrun is an alumnus of Ames Research Laboratory, NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics) predecessor of Ames Research Center, NASA where he worked twelve years as a research scientist. At Ames, he pioneered the setting of design criteria for airplane thermal ice-prevention and the developing of roll stability laws for airplanes, missiles and rockets. He joined Lockheed Missiles and Space Company (now Lockheed Martin) where he was manager of the planning and analysis of flight tests for the Navy Polaris Underwater Launch Missile System. During his thirteen years at Lockheed, he also served as a senior scientist having responsible analysis cognizance of special space-satellite applications. An Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronauics (AIAA), he is active as a leader in Congressional Visits Day events on Capitol Hill. Book excerpt: "The book is like a dream you want to last forever" (Roberta Silman, The New York Times Book Review), now with a gorgeous new cover by the famed designer Peter Mendelsund A masterwork of W. G. Sebald, now with a gorgeous new cover by the famed designer Peter Mendelsund The Rings of Saturn—with its curious archive of photographs—records a walking tour of the eastern coast of England. A few of the things which cross the path and mind of its narrator (who both is and is not Sebald) are lonely eccentrics, Sir Thomas Browne’s skull, a matchstick model of the Temple of Jerusalem, recession-hit seaside towns, wooded hills, Joseph Conrad, Rembrandt’s "Anatomy Lesson," the natural history of the herring, the massive bombings of WWII, the dowager Empress Tzu Hsi, and the silk industry in Norwich. W.G. Sebald’s The Emigrants (New Directions, 1996) was hailed by Susan Sontag as an "astonishing masterpiece perfect while being unlike any book one has ever read." It was "one of the great books of the last few years," noted Michael Ondaatje, who now acclaims The Rings of Saturn "an even more inventive work than its predecessor, The Emigrants."

Book excerpt: A “blistering exposé” of the USA’s secret history of financial, political, and cultural exploitation of Latin America in the 20th century, with a new introduction (Publishers Weekly). What happened when a wealthy industrialist and a visionary evangelist unleashed forces that joined to subjugate an entire continent? Historians Gerard Colby and Charlotte Dennett tell the story of the forty-year campaign led by Standard Oil scion Nelson Rockefeller and Wycliffe Bible Translators founder William Cameron Townsend to establish a US imperial beachhead in Central and South America. Beginning in the 1940s, future Vice President Rockefeller worked with the CIA and allies in the banking industry to prop up repressive governments, devastate the Amazon rain forest, and destabilize local economies—all in the name of anti-Communism. Meanwhile, Townsend and his army of missionaries sought to undermine the belief systems of the region’s indigenous peoples and convert them to Christianity. Their combined efforts would have tragic and long-lasting repercussions, argue the authors of this “well-documented” (Los Angeles Times) book—the product of eighteen years of research—which legendary progressive historian Howard Zinn called “an extraordinary piece of investigative history. Its message is powerful, its data overwhelming and impressive.”

Book Slave Species of the Gods

Download or read book Slave Species of the Gods written by Michael Tellinger and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2012-09-10 with total page 529 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Our origins as a slave species and the Anunnaki legacy in our DNA • Reveals compelling new archaeological and genetic evidence for the engineered origins of the human species, first proposed by Zecharia Sitchin in The 12th Planet • Shows how the Anunnaki created us using pieces of their own DNA, controlling our physical and mental capabilities by inactivating their more advanced DNA • Identifies a recently discovered complex of sophisticated ruins in South Africa as the city of the Anunnaki leader Enki Scholars have long believed that the first civilization on Earth emerged in Sumer some 6,000 years ago. However, as Michael Tellinger reveals, the Sumerians and Egyptians inherited their knowledge from an earlier civilization that lived at the southern tip of Africa and began with the arrival of the Anunnaki more than 200,000 years ago. Sent to Earth in search of life-saving gold, these ancient Anunnaki astronauts from the planet Nibiru created the first humans as a slave race to mine gold--thus beginning our global traditions of gold obsession, slavery, and god as dominating master. Revealing new archaeological and genetic evidence in support of Zecharia Sitchin’s revolutionary work with pre-biblical clay tablets, Tellinger shows how the Anunnaki created us using pieces of their own DNA, controlling our physical and mental capabilities by inactivating their more advanced DNA--which explains why less than 3 percent of our DNA is active. He identifies a recently discovered complex of sophisticated ruins in South Africa, complete with thousands of mines, as the city of Anunnaki leader Enki and explains their lost technologies that used the power of sound as a source of energy. Matching key mythologies of the world’s religions to the Sumerian clay tablet stories on which they are based, he details the actual events behind these tales of direct physical interactions with “god,” concluding with the epic flood--a perennial theme of ancient myth--that wiped out the Anunnaki mining operations. Tellinger shows that, as humanity awakens to the truth about our origins, we can overcome our programmed animalistic and slave-like nature, tap in to our dormant Anunnaki DNA, and realize the longevity and intelligence of our creators as well as learn the difference between the gods of myth and the true loving God of our universe.

Download or read book Saturn written by Pane Andov and published by . This book was released on 2019-05-28 with total page 322 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In 1986, Dr. Norman Bergrun published the book "Ringmakers of Saturn". He discovered strange anomalies in the Saturn system and based on collected NASA evidence he concluded that human civilization is not the only one in our solar system. On several photos and video evidence, he clearly pinpointed the existence of huge electromagnetic vehicles (EMVs) under intelligent control which was directly involved in the creation of rings on Saturn. This book picked up where Dr. Norman Bergrun left off back in 1986 and it went much deeper into the subject matter of the extraterrestrial presence in the Saturn system. The author is also an astral traveler with extensive experience and a contactee of a rare type. Andov's conclusions based on many years of extensive UFO research and direct astral observation are filling the gaps in the Big Picture which are currently missing. In 1964, Russian astrophysicist Nikolai Kardashev figured out that civilizations can be categorized by the total amount of energy available to them. He defined three levels of civilizations (Type I, Type II and Type III) based on their capacity to harness and use power, as well as the amount of knowledge the civilizations have access to. Type III can control energy on the scale of its entire host galaxy. Once it reaches the level of knowledge to harvest galactic energy, Type III can take a path of light, coexistence, prosperity which will lead towards further evolution or it can take a path that also leads to progress and expansion but will be full of darkness, manipulation and the exploitation of lower evolved civilizations. However, by taking the dark path it will seriously slow down the real evolution of Type III civilization towards Type IV civilization. In case Type III civilization has exhausted the power of a single star, it can easily reach out to other star systems. No natural catastrophe known to human science has the capacity to destroy a Type III civilization. The potentials are enormous, however, the appetite to grow and expand further can sometimes turn this type of civilization into a vampire type of predator that exploits and consumes the life force energy of the lower evolved civilizations. Unfortunately, a Type III civilization that exactly matches that description is present in this solar system and it uses a combination of highly sophisticated technology and the natural transmitting capacity of planet Saturn to manipulate the Astral Plane of planet Earth for purposes that will further be explained. During the last planetary conflict with the "gods" which happened around 4,000 ago, the Optimal Genetic Expression was lost. In other words, the biological gigantism on planet Earth was lost, the DNA abundance was no longer possible, and the human genetic functionality was downgraded. With only 5 sense input and higher abilities of consciousness deactivated, the humankind became an easy target for many abusive ET species that stayed in the solar system. This book contains an abundance of scientific data collected by Cassini and other spacecraft in our solar system. In parallel, there is a metaphysical explanation of all that is happening. It is a perfectly balanced mix between advanced space science and metaphysical knowledge. The comments about many unexplained phenomena in our solar system are a product of Andov's direct observation on the Astral Plane. One thing is for sure. This book will take deep into the mysteries of the gigantic Saturn system and the presence of intelligently controlled space vehicles of enormous sizes. Explanations are given what exactly these EMVs are doing in "our" solar system, how they function and why they are doing what they are doing...

Book Who Built the Moon

Download or read book Who Built the Moon written by Christopher Knight and published by Watkins Media Limited. This book was released on 2014-03-11 with total page 272 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The authors of Civilization One return, bringing new evidence about the Moon that will shake up our world. Christopher Knight and Alan Butler realized that the ancient system of geometry they presented in their earlier, breakthrough study works as perfectly for the Moon as it does the Earth. On further investigation, they found a consistent sequence of beautiful integer numbers when looking at every major aspect of the Moon--no such pattern emerges for any other planet or moon in the solar system. In addition, Knight and Butler discovered that the Moon possesses few or no heavy metals and has no core—something that should not be possible. Their persuasive conclusion: if higher life only developed on Earth because the Moon is exactly what it is and where it is, it becomes unreasonable to cling to the idea that the Moon is a natural object. The only question that remains is, who built it?

Book THE APOLLO MOON MISSIONS

Download or read book THE APOLLO MOON MISSIONS written by Randy Walsh and published by Writers Republic LLC. This book was released on 2019-09-18 with total page 214 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As a child I was fascinated by the Apollo Moon missions. As I got older the fascination never waned, until, approximately 15 years ago, I happened to watch a documentary on one of the Apollo missions. In that they discussed the method used for circumnavigating the Moon during the missions. As a trained pilot I remember questioning that method of navigation and from there I started to doubt the validity of the Apollo Moon missions itself, which led to subsequent years of research. This book is culmination of that research and the reasons why I believe that the Apollo Moon missions were faked. Included in Part 1 of this series I discuss the following key factors:  The Saturn V rocket and the fraudulent claims on the powerful F-1 engines, without which the Apollo landings could not have taken place.  The non-existent capabilities of the Apollo guidance computer and the fact that this computer was a fake.  The conflicting and contradictory information regarding the radiation intensity between the Earth and Moon which would have prevented any manned lunar landing.  The inadequate shielding for both the Command Module and Lunar Module which would have ended any manned mission outside of Low Earth Orbit in a matter of minutes if not seconds.  And the incomplete, missing and/or destroyed documents along with the thousands of missing reels of telemetry tapes containing data that has been 'lost' forever

Book The Saturn System Through The Eyes Of Cassini

Download or read book The Saturn System Through The Eyes Of Cassini written by Nasa and published by . This book was released on 2018-03-22 with total page 114 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Saturn System Through The Eyes Of Cassini is printed in full-color on 70-pound paper. The Cassini-Huygens mission has revolutionized our knowledge of the Saturn system and revealed surprising places in the solar system where life could potentially gain a foothold--bodies we call ocean worlds. Since its arrival in 2004, Cassini-Huygens has been nothing short of a discovery machine, captivating us with data and images never before obtained with such detail and clarity. Cassini taught us that Saturn is a far cry from a tranquil lone planet with delicate rings. Now, we know more about Saturn's chaotic, active, and powerful rings, and the storms that rage beneath. Images and data from Saturn's moons Titan and Enceladus hint at the possibility of life never before suspected. The rings of Saturn, its moons, and the planet itself offer irresistible and inexhaustible subjects for intense study. As the Cassini mission comes to a dramatic end with a fateful plunge into Saturn on Sept. 15, 2017, scientists are already dreaming of going back for further study.
