Book Azumaya Algebras Actions and Modules

Download or read book Azumaya Algebras Actions and Modules written by Darrell Haile and published by American Mathematical Soc.. This book was released on 1992 with total page 322 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume contains the proceedings of a conference in honor of Goro Azumaya's seventieth birthday, held at Indiana University of Bloomington in May 1990. Professor Azumaya, who has been on the faculty of Indiana University since 1968, has made many important contributions to modern abstract algebra. His introduction and investigation of what have come to be known as Azumaya algebras subsequently stimulated much research on such rings and algebras, as well as applications to geometry and number theory. In addition to honoring Professor Azumaya's contributions, the conference was intended to stimulate interaction among three areas of his research interests; Azumaya algebras, group and Hopf algebra actions, and module theory. Aimed at researchers in algebra, this volume contains contributions by some of the leaders in these areas.

Book The Snapping of the American Mind

Download or read book The Snapping of the American Mind written by David Kupelian and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2022-09-20 with total page 315 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: America the beautiful has become America the bizarre. REVISED AND EXPANDED EDITION! "A must-read if you really want to understand the world we live in and where it's headed." – SEAN HANNITY "David Kupelian's The Snapping of the American Mind chronicles the decline and fall of America and shows that it is no accident, but rather a direct result of progressive misrule?an eye-opening, scary and galvanizing book." – DINESH D'SOUZA "David Kupelian has once again given us a must-read in these times of political turbulence and cultural insanity." – PAUL KENGOR America the beautiful has become America the bizarre. Government promotes shockingly deranged policies while purposely turning citizens against each other, Christians are prosecuted as criminals, children "transition" to the opposite sex, crime skyrockets and 130 million Americans depend on mind-altering substances just to get through life. Turbocharged by the Obama presidency and continuing into the present day, long-coalescing forces of the political and cultural Left are bringing about their much-heralded "fundamental transformation of America." That much everyone knows. But this revolution is also causing a fundamental transformation of Americans in profoundly negative ways. In The Snapping of the American Mind, veteran journalist and bestselling author David Kupelian shows how the progressive Left which today dominates America's key institutions, from the news and entertainment media, to Big Tech, to education, to government itself is accomplishing much more than just enlarging government, redistributing wealth, and de-Christianizing the culture. With the Left's wild celebration of sexual anarchy, its intimidating culture of political correctness, and its incomprehension of the fundamental sacredness of human life, it is also, whether intentionally or not, promoting widespread dependency, debauchery, family breakdown, crime, corruption, addiction, despair, and suicide. Surveying this growing chaos in American society, Kupelian exposes both the utopian revolutionaries and their extraordinary methods that have turned America's most cherished values literally upside down to the point that madness is celebrated and normality demonized.

Book excerpt: A wide-ranging and comprehensive survey of modern legal scholarship and the evolution of law in America What do Catharine MacKinnon, the legacy of Brown v. Board of Education, and Lani Guinier have in common? All have, in recent years, become flashpoints for different approaches to legal reform. In the last quarter century, the study and practice of law have been profoundly influenced by a number of powerful new movements; academics and activists alike are rethinking the interaction between law and society, focusing more on the tangible effects of law on human lives than on its procedural elements. In this wide-ranging and comprehensive volume, Gary Minda surveys the current state of legal scholarship and activism, providing an indispensable guide to the evolution of law in America.

Book Disproof of Bell s Theorem

Download or read book Disproof of Bell s Theorem written by Joy Christian and published by Universal-Publishers. This book was released on 2014 with total page 351 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A remarkable concept known as "entanglement" in quantum physics requires an incredibly bizarre link between subatomic particles. When one such particle is observed, quantum entanglement demands the rest of them to be affected instantaneously, even if they are universes apart. Einstein called this "spooky actions at a distance," and argued that such bizarre predictions of quantum theory show that it is an incomplete theory of nature. In 1964, however, John Bell proposed a theorem which seemed to prove that such spooky actions at a distance are inevitable for any physical theory, not just quantum theory. Since then many experiments have confirmed these long-distance correlations. But now, in this groundbreaking collection of papers, the author exposes a fatal flaw in the logic and mathematics of Bell's theorem, thus undermining its main conclusion, and proves that---as suspected by Einstein all along---there are no spooky actions at a distance in nature. The observed long-distance correlations among subatomic particles are dictated by a garden-variety "common cause," encoded within the topological structure of our ordinary physical space itself.
