La respuesta educativa al alumnado con necesidad especifica de apoyo educativo asociada a discapacidad viene generando un amplio debate social, alimentado por las distintas visiones que sobre la propia forma de respuesta asumen los participantes del debate, ideas que no siempre coinciden con la de los auténticos protagonistas de la situación: personas con discapacidad, familias y profesorado experto en el tema. Este libro, fruto de una investigación, recoge datos que ofrecen información sobre el estado actual de esa respuesta, así como una discusión profunda sobre los mismos. Esta se realiza desde una visión inclusiva de la escuela, identificando las prácticas positivas que se vienen realizando, describiendo las barreras que dificultan el desarrollo de la inclusión para, finalmente, aportar caminos sobre los que continuar avanzando.
