None can belong to this honourable order except such as are able to repeat the Rules of the School, the Multi plication Table, all the Tables of Money, Weight, and Mea sure, and the Ten Commandments. They must also beara good character' at School among their companions, and at home among their friends; and they must maintain this cha racter; for, if they lose it, they will certainly be degraded from the order. Their privilege, as members of it, is, besides a decoration, access to a suitable 'library of books, consisting of history, travels, the rudiments of the useful arts and sciences, and works of a moral tendency - Much good has already te sulted from the institution of this order.
