This book was released on 1986 with total page 13 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: On March 24, 1986 the bulk carrier "Richelieu" departed Port Cartier, Quebec with a cargo of iron pellets, bound for Contrecoeur, Quebec. On the run between Les Escoumins and Quebec a failure occurred in the main engine's remote control system making it necessary to operate the engine manually from the engine room and it was therefore decided to lay-over in Quebec to carry out repairs. During berthing manoeuvres in Quebec the vessel violently struck the dock twice, severely damaging her bow. Nevertheless, she continued her voyage at reduce speed to Contrecoeur the following morning and discharged her cargo prior to proceeding to Montreal to effect permanent repairs.
