Book Reflections of Nebulous Eternal

Download or read book Reflections of Nebulous Eternal written by James J. Cone and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2015-07-31 with total page 69 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Reflections of Nebulous Eternal is a selection of poems written by a soul that left the spirit realm and entered earth to gain a deeper insight to itself, and as it evolves and awakens, the spirit tries to relay the information to the rest of humanity. This is a daunting task, and many awakened souls band together to push the world into a brighter future. The reason earth is called nebulous eternal is because a nebula is foggy/hazy, and this world is exactly thata haze. And it lasts for eternity because too many humans would rather use their knowledge, skill, power, and wealth to feed their greed and massage their egos. Those who are awake aim to counter this behaviorif not for todays, then for tomorrows generation. So these are the sporadic thoughts of a splintered soul dwelling in nebulous eternal, on a mission to gather with like-minded spirits to educate the children and spread love, humility, and compassion to the world.

Book The Indigo Renaissance Sporadic Thoughts of a Splintered Soul Vol 2

Download or read book The Indigo Renaissance Sporadic Thoughts of a Splintered Soul Vol 2 written by James Cone and published by Createspace Independent Publishing Platform. This book was released on 2018-03-03 with total page 62 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Indigo Renaissance represents a time of artistic and spiritual development, where we don't worship money. Instead, we find value in love and empathy for humanity. It's going from the "Do for self" mentality and moving into the "Do for us" mentality. A universal community. This doesn't mean group think where we all think and behave the same. It means we embrace each other's differences and we build with one another to make the world a better place for all. Why would anyone want to harm another soul or destroy the environment that we all must live on? Some people will always find pleasure in someone else's pain. But for those of us that don't, let us unite and spread the light of love and empathy. I am imperfect and there have been many times where I have been greedy, selfish, or angry and harmed other souls. Sometimes physically and sometimes mentally/emotionally. But my ultimate goal is to learn from my faults and do better every day. So this is the second installment of my personal letter to humanity. The first was "Reflections of Nebulous Eternal (Sporadic Thoughts of a Splintered Soul vol. 1)". I hope with these letters I have written I can aid in healing myself as well as ignite the fire in other kindred souls to be better humans and spread their love frequency into the universe.

Book Eternal and Transient Elements in Human Life

Download or read book Eternal and Transient Elements in Human Life written by Rudolf Steiner and published by Rudolf Steiner Press. This book was released on 2016-03-21 with total page 338 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In what has been referred to as 'the most advanced course in anthroposophy', Rudolf Steiner addresses one of the great questions of our time: the role of evil in human development. He speaks of the year 666, when three time streams intersected – the familiar linear stream and two 'lateral' streams – and the reoccurrence of the 666-year rhythm in history. At the heart of this mystery is the being Sorat ('the beast'), who attempted to flood humanity with premature spiritual knowledge by inspiring the scholars of the ancient Academy of Gondishapur. Although responsible for the saving of Aristotle's works, Steiner describes how the Academy generated tremendous but dangerous gnostic wisdom, which eventually spread through the Christian monasteries and inspired Western scientific thought. Its immediate negative impact, however, had to be counteracted by the Prophet Muhammad and the founding of Islam. In contrast to the 666-year rhythm in history, the 333-year rhythm is connected to the healing forces of the Mystery of Golgotha. The year 333 was a central point in the post-Atlantean age, but also a pivotal moment in establishing the Christ Impulse and the new equilibrium it brought to humanity, allowing people to gain wisdom through their own efforts. Such wisdom enables insight into three key areas: supersensible knowledge of birth and death; understanding of an individual's life; and the ability consciously to confront the adversarial beings of Lucifer and Ahriman. Steiner addresses a host of additional themes, including occult Freemasonry in Anglo-American countries; materialism in the Roman Catholic Church; prophetic and apocalyptic vision; dualism and fatalism in pre-Christian times; and the delusion of time and space. Seeking to awaken his listeners to the urgency of the tasks ahead of them, he urges that spiritual understanding be enlivened with enthusiasm, fire and warmth of heart.

Book Time in the Philosophy of Gabriel Marcel

Download or read book Time in the Philosophy of Gabriel Marcel written by Helen Tattam and published by MHRA. This book was released on 2013 with total page 236 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Gabriel Marcel (1889-1973) stands outside the traditional canon of twentieth-century French philosophers. Where he is not simply forgotten or overlooked, he is dismissed as a 'relentlessly unsystematic' thinker, or, following Jean-Paul Sartre's lead, labelled a 'Christian existentialist' - a label that avoids consideration of Marcel's work on its own terms. How is one to appreciate Marcel's contribution, especially when his oeuvre appears to be at odds with philosophical convention? Helen Tattam proposes a range of readings as opposed to one single interpretation, a series of departures or explorations that bring his work into contact with critical partners such as Henri Bergson, Paul Ricoeur and Emmanuel Lévinas, and offer insights into a host of twentieth-century philosophical shifts concerning time, the subject, the other, ethics, and religion. Helen Tattam's ambitious study is an impressively lucid account of Marcel's engagement with the problem of time and lived experience, and is her first monograph since the award of her doctorate from the University of Nottingham.

Book excerpt: Named one of the Best Books of 2020 by Refinery29 A hypnotic, wildly inventive novel about art, violence, and endurance Alice Knott lives alone, a reclusive heiress haunted by memories of her deceased parents and mysterious near-identical brother. Much of her family’s fortune has been spent on a world-class collection of artwork, which she stores in a vault in her lonely, cavernous house. One day, she awakens to find the artwork destroyed, the act of vandalism captured in a viral video that soon triggers a rash of copycat incidents. As more videos follow and the world’s most priceless works of art are destroyed one by one, Alice finds that she has become the chief suspect in an international conspiracy—even as her psyche becomes a shadowed landscape of childhood demons and cognitive disorder. Unsettling, almost physically immersive, Alice Knott is a virtuoso exploration of the meaning of art and the lasting afterlife of trauma, as well as a deeply humane portrait of a woman whose trials feel both apocalyptic and universal.

Book Eschatology

Download or read book Eschatology written by Pope Benedict XVI and published by CUA Press. This book was released on 2007-10 with total page 340 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Originally published in English in 1988, Joseph Ratzinger's Eschatology remains internationally recognized as a leading text on the "last things"—heaven and hell, purgatory and judgment, death and the immortality of the soul. This highly anticipated second edition includes a new preface by Joseph Ratzinger/Pope Benedict XVI and a supplement to the bibliography by theologian Peter A. Casarella. Eschatology presents a balanced perspective of the doctrine at the center of Christian belief—the Church's faith in eternal life. Recognizing the task of contemporary eschatology as "to marry perspectives, so that person and community, present and future, are seen in their unity," Joseph Ratzinger brings together recent emphasis on the theology of hope for the future with the more traditional elements of the doctrine. His book has proven to be as timeless as it is timely.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This title brings together work on embodiment, action, and the predictive mind. At the core is the vision of human minds as prediction machines - devices that constantly try to stay one step ahead of the breaking waves of sensory stimulation, by actively predicting the incoming flow. In every situation we encounter, that complex prediction machinery is already buzzing, proactively trying to anticipate the sensory barrage. The book shows in detail how this strange but potent strategy of self-anticipation ushers perception, understanding, and imagination simultaneously onto the cognitive stage.
