This book was released on 2016-10-04 with total page 382 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from Records of the Connecticut Line of the Hayden Family When Mr. Levi Hayden, in 1882, became interested in getting up a reunion of the descendants of William Hayden, and marking the spot where he settled with some memorial, he pledged the necessary funds for its accomplishment, and also for necessary expenses for the further prosecution of the genealogical work, which work had before been at my own charges. My own services are gratuitous, a labor of love. Rev. Horace Edwin Hayden of Wilkesbarre, Pa., is engaged on a history of the Daniel line, and will give fuller detail and doubtless add much which will be of general interest to all branches of the family. The important portion of this work, furnished by the Rev. William B. Hayden of Portland, Me., and Mr. Levi Hayden of Roslindale, Mass, I am sure will be appreciated by all the Haydens. This book was released on 2015-08-05 with total page 388 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from Genealogical Notes, or Contributions to the Family History of Some of the First Settlers of Connecticut and Massachusetts The following pages contain a selection from the Genealogical Notes made by my uncle, Nathaniel Goodwin, from time to time after his appointment to the office of Judge of Probate for the district of Hartford, in 1833, and prepared for publication by him during the last three or four of the latter years of his life. They were not designed by him to be complete genealogies even of the families which are treated of, but, as the title indicates, genealogical notes to assist others in tracing out their family histories. Mr. Goodwin had begun to print the work, making his final corrections as the proof-sheets were brought to him, and had proceeded as far as page 68, when the printing was suspended, as he hoped temporarily, by a severe attack of disease, but as the event proved, finally, so far as he was concerned, by his death.
