For just when one says "Enough is enough," one must find the solution to the problem to make it on this earth. To "be all I can be, no matter what," one must take the blindfold off ones eyes, so one can see her future. The author states, "As I grow older, I can teach the younger generation to come, because they are the future in this world too." All should reunite and make a difference in this world, so that we can learn from each other, and hear one another’s voice. Love is more important in life because when we die we can’t take materialistic things with us. So why treat each other bad when we can love each other, and not go against each other. Anger doesn’t solve anything, and creates chaos in one’s life. When love is more important in one’s life, one can look on the bright side of life and continue on doing what Jesus would want one to do. We were all place on this earth for a purpose; we must look to fulfill that purpose so we don’t get left behind in society today. Jealousy, hatred, and envy won’t get one anything but chaos in one’s life, and later on, Satan just throwing one away. So it’s not to be that way because God didn’t make us to be that way. He made us for a purpose, and we must look at life that way. So why not help one another? It is the only right way in God’s eyes, because He looks at everything we do and we sure don’t anything to catch up with us.

Book excerpt: General While there is an abundance of literature dealing with the American antitrust laws, one can also observe that the application of this area of the law to foreign commerce is still in an evolutionary stage of development. To some extent this can be quantiflably explained by pointing out that the rapid rise of the interests of the American business community in foreign commerce is only a fairly recent 1 phenomenon. This participatory interest reveals a wide spectrum of commercial activities. While the traditional concept of foreign commerce was often limited to thinking in terms of exports and imports, present commercial activities include also such marketing methods as the establishment of foreign branches or subsidiaries, or 2 the location of manufacturing, processing, or assembly plants abroad. To this array of arrangements, most of which contemplate a widening of the market potential, we may add the current merger movement, the conglomerate charac ter of which has been termed its 'most unique characteristic,. 3 Little wonder that at least one author refers to the application of the 311titrust laws to foreign commerce as being still somewhat of a 'frontier area of the law'. 4 Because of the rapidly expanding participation of the American business community in interna tional commerce a gradual evolution of the international dimensions of the American antitrust laws seems therefore within the realm of justifIed expecta tions.

Many scholars and community leaders have called on American Muslims to engage with or integrate into mainstream American culture. Such calls tend to assume that there is a distinctive, monolithic, minority religious identity for American Muslims. Rejecting the closed categories that determine the minority status of a particular group and that, in turn, impede active, engaged citizenship, An-na'im draws attention to the relational nature of identity, emphasizing a common base of national membership and advancing a legal approach to a public recognition of a person's status as citizen. Rather than perceive themselves or accept being perceived by others as a monolithic minority, he argues, American Muslims should view themselves as American citizens who happen to be Muslims. As American citizens, they share a vast array of identities with other American citizens, whether ethnic, political, or socio-economic. But none of these identities qualify or limit their citizenship. An-na'im urges members of the American Muslim community to take a proactive, affirmative view of their citizenship in order to realize their rights fully and fulfill their obligations in social and cultural as well as political and legal terms. He shows that the freedom to associate with others in order to engage in civic action to advance rights and interests is integral to the underlying rationale of citizenship and not something that must be relinquished to become an American citizen. What Is an American Muslim? provides acute insight into the nature of citizenship and identity, the place of religious affiliation in American society, and what it means to share in a collective identity.
