Book The Lost Journals of Nikola Tesla

Download or read book The Lost Journals of Nikola Tesla written by Tim R. Swartz and published by . This book was released on 2012-02 with total page 170 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: NEWLY REVISED EDITION! HERE NOW -- IN THIS EXPANDED WORK -- ARE SOME OF THE MOST BIZARRE EXPERIMENTS CARRIED OUT BY THE WORLD'S GREATEST ELECTRICAL WIZARD UNDER THE MOST HUSH-HUSH OF CIRCUMSTANCES. EXPERIMENTS DEALING WITH. . . TIME TRAVEL, ALTERNATIVE AND FREE ENERGY, AS WELL AS A POSSIBLE NAZI "FLYING SAUCER" CONNECTION. Nikola Tesla was the genius credited for creating much of modern, electrical technology. Yet, his contributions have been largely forgotten. An examination of Nikola Tesla's lost papers -- some of which were confiscated by the U.S. government after his death -- shows that Tesla was interested in and experimented with many concepts that have been regarded until recently as "wild ideas." It's no surprise that Tesla was loath to speak of these kinds of interests -- after all, even now these areas of study still come under fire by the majority of mainstream scientists who refuse to use their imaginations and intellect and scorn such matters with terms such as "voodoo science" and "unadulterated quackery." It is now known that there have been a number of top-secret programs that were devoted to either investigating or, shockingly enough, actively using technology based on some of Tesla's more unorthodox ideas. Both the United States and Russia have active Particle Beam and RF (radio-frequency) weaponry that has been in operation since the early 1970s -- all as a result of Tesla's early 19th and 20th Century experiments. To say that there are other black budget projects involving Tesla-based research would vastly underestimate the total amount of research and development being conducted right now by many countries worldwide. And these are the projects that we know about. Who knows how many deep, dark, secret projects are being conducted right now with science that could be decades, even hundreds of years, beyond what civilian science knows about today? This work exposes such topics as: Reverse Gravity -- Free Energy -- Contact With Hidden Dimensions -- Mysterious Radio Signals From Space -- Earth Changes -- Freak Weather Patterns -- Electric Death Rays -- UFOs -- Particle Beam Weapons and much, much more.

Book Nobody s Fool

Download or read book Nobody s Fool written by Bill Griffith and published by Abrams. This book was released on 2019-03-19 with total page 264 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A graphic biography of the real-life sideshow performer who inspired Zippy the Pinhead: “An uplifting, wonderfully humane book.” —The New York Times From Coney Island and the Ringling Bros. Circus to small-town carnivals and big-city sideshows, Nobody’s Fool follows the long, legendary career of Schlitzie, today best known for his appearance in the cult classic film Freaks, the making of which is a centerpiece of the story. In researching Schlitzie’s life, Griffith has tracked down primary sources and archives throughout the country, conducting interviews with those who worked with him and had intimate knowledge of his personality, his likes and dislikes, how he responded to being a sideshow “freak,” and much more. This graphic biography provides never-before-revealed details of his life, offering a unique look into his world and contributions to popular culture, including the immortal phrase “Are we having fun yet?” “Virtuoso comic-strip artist Bill Griffith gives voice to a true outcast—the sideshow attraction born Simon Metz (probably) in the Bronx (probably) in 1901.” —The New York Times “The underlying message of Nobody’s Fool? I get it—underneath our grandiose opinions of ourselves we’re all pinheads and freaks . . . The best graphic novel of the year.” —R. Crumb “A captivating labor of love that integrates American sideshow history and autobiographical segments . . . an astonishing life, beautifully told. Or, as Schlitzie would say, it’s boffo!” —Booklist (starred review) “A masterpiece of absurdity and humanity. After all these years Schlitzie still triggers laughter and tears.” —Steve Heller, Print

Book Becoming Andy Warhol

Download or read book Becoming Andy Warhol written by Nick Bertozzi and published by Abrams. This book was released on 2016-10-04 with total page 196 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Celebrated during his lifetime as much for his personality as for his paintings, Andy Warhol (1928–87) is the most famous and influential of the Pop artists, who developed the notion of 15 minutes of fame, and the idea that an artist could be as illustrious as the work he creates. This graphic novel biography offers insight into the turning point of Warhol’s career and the creation of the Thirteen Most Wanted Men mural for the 1964 World’s Fair, when Warhol clashed with urban planner Robert Moses, architect Philip Johnson, and Governor Nelson Rockefeller. In Becoming Andy Warhol, New York Times bestselling writer Nick Bertozzi and artist Pierce Hargan showcase the moment when, by stubborn force of personality and sheer burgeoning talent, Warhol went up against the creative establishment and emerged to become one of the most significant artists of the 20th century.

Book Nikola Tesla s Diary How I Lit Up the World

This book was released on 2017-07-11 with total page 42 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: SPECIAL DEAL!!! Buy the paperback version of the book NOW to receive the kindle version ($2.99) for FREE! Although Nikola Tesla findings and inventions completely changed the way in which we see the world today, we rarely come across him name in history and scientific books. Why is that? "Let the future tell the truth and evaluate each one according to his work and accomplishments. The present is theirs; the future, for which I really worked, is mine."- Nikola Tesla. This quote of Tesla is an adequate mirror of the way he lived his life. Though he didn't receive the recognition he deserved when he was alive, that didn't stop him from thinking ahead of his time and 'brightening' the future. Today, we have him to thank for the light we take for granted. Though Tesla's greatest contribution to humanity would undoubtedly be the Alternating current, he also paved the way for the innovation of many products we use in our lives today, like radios, remote controls, etc. He was a genius with a photographic memory (imagine remembering everything you see and remember it vividly) and though unrecognized and unappreciated during his time, today he is regarded as one of the greatest scientific minds of all time. Tesla was a very interesting and quirky inventor, and there is so much information about him that is mind-boggling. Because Tesla was such an interesting and fascinating individual, this book is written as a fictional journal. While the journal is fictional, all the information about his life and timeline are based on facts. So sit back and have a wonderful time learning about Nikola Tesla and his life.

Book One Story

Download or read book One Story written by Gipi and published by Fantagraphics Books. This book was released on 2020-07-28 with total page 128 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Dual graphic narratives by the acclaimed Italian cartoonist demonstrate how the choices our ancestors made dramatically affect generations to come. Silvano Landi is a successful writer who, at the age of 50, sees his family leave him and his life fall apart. Landi's great-grandfather, Mauro, is an anxious soldier being fed to the maw of carnage in the First World War. Alternating between past and present, a psych ward and the bloody trenches, and told through complex clues ― a lone gas station, an apathetic baroness, found love letters, and shifting from scratchy black-and-white to lush watercolors (sometimes on the same page), One Story documents the origins of pain that serve as the roots of a twisted family tree, and allows the reader to trace the branches.
