Afin de déterminer les actions et les mesures nécessaires pour lever les difficultés liées à l'accès aux professions régies par les ordres professionnels, l'Équipe de travail a tenu compte de l'ensemble des recommandations du Groupe de travail sur l'accès aux professions et métiers réglementés (Groupe de travail). Le rapport de l'Équipe de travail s'attarde principalement à proposer les moyens pour mettre en oeuvre des mesures qui permettront d'atteindre les objectifs fixés par le Groupe de travail. Le rapport de l'Équipe de travail reprend donc en grande partie la structure générale du rapport du Groupe de travail de parlementaires, notamment en proposant des chapitres portant sur l'accès à l'information, sur la reconnaissance des acquis et sur la formation d'appoint. De plus, les recommandations du Groupe de travail sont présentées en annexe. Comme plusieurs des recommandations du Groupe de travail sont déjà en voie de réalisation, le rapport présente, le cas échéant, l'état d'avancement de leur implantation.--Comprend un extrait de texte du document ainsi qu'un extrait provenant du site Web de l'éditeur.

This book deals with the heritage of water management and the use that was made of water, as well as the impact of water management on heritage. An example of the former may be an ancient irrigation system in the Filipines or in the Middle East that still functions today, while the latter may reflect the importance of maintaining groundwater levels for the preservation of organic remains on archaeological sites or of wooden piles underneath standing buildings. The concept of social exclusion opens up promising ways to analyze the various challenges facing newcomers and The World in a City explores Toronto's ability to sustain a civic society. This collection of essays highlights why the need to pay more attention to certain at-risk groups, and the importance of adapting policy to fit the changing settlement and clustering patterns of newcomers is of crucial importance. The authors' findings demonstrate that there are many obstacles to providing opportunity for immigrants, low resource bases in particular. Toronto, they suggest, does not provide a level 'playing field' for its newly arrived inhabitants, and, in failing to recognize the particular needs of new communities, fails to ensure a growth that would be of immense benefit to the city as a whole.
