In addition, presenters for the parallel sessions came from various State and Private Universities, Institutions, Academies and Schools. Some of them are those who have already sat and are about to take the oral exam. The plenary speakers presented topics covering various disciplines. They have provided a wealth of inspiring input on trending educational research topics around the world. The hope is that all prospective lecturers and students will share the results of their research to improve teaching processes and quality, as well as leadership. This international seminar presented the results of research, reviews, and results of dedication carried out by researchers from various domestic and foreign agencies, attended by 168 participants from 5 countries, namely Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore and Indonesia. Quest to Learn opened in the fall of 2009 with 76 sixth graders. In their first semester, these students learned—among other things—to convert fractions into decimals in order to break a piece of code found in a library book; to use atlases and read maps to create a location guide for a reality television series; and to create video tutorials for a hapless group of fictional inventors. This research and development document outlines the learning framework for the school, making the original design available to others in the field. Elements in development include a detailed curriculum map, a budget, and samples of student and teacher handbooks.
