Sonya is a mother of three and strongly believes the family unit remains to be the strongest entity in society and the most impressionable in a child's life. She strives to instill strong morals and spiritual values in her children through everyday activities and experiences. Proverbs 22:6 (KJV) These quotes inspired Sonya to create a series of fiction picture books. These books were created through the eyes of her children and to be enjoyed by young readers of diverse backgrounds. Everyone has a family, be it a one or two parent family, grandparent(s) raising grandchildren, or close nit friends. Members of all families are exposed to the same subtle lessons, they're just dressed differently.
