All rights not granted by the above license are retained by the author. Abstract: Abstract Aim To quantify the amount of microleakage of a resin-based root canal filling. Methodology 50 roots of human permanent maxillary central incisors and mandibular premolars were instrumented and randomly divided into the positive (n=5) and negative (n=5) control groups and two experimental groups: Group GV, gutta-percha vertical compaction (n=20) and Group ES, the EndoRez single cone (n=20). The glucose filtration model was used to quantify the microleakage at intervals of 2, 4 and 8 weeks.
