Book G rontologie psychanalyse et d shumanisation

Download or read book G rontologie psychanalyse et d shumanisation written by Evelyne Bertin and published by . This book was released on 1999 with total page 93 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Personnalit et Vieillissement written by Michel Cariou and published by FeniXX. This book was released on 1995-01-01T00:00:00+01:00 with total page 314 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Psychog rontologie written by Jacques Richard and published by Elsevier Masson. This book was released on 2004 with total page 222 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Towards a Psychosomatic Conception of Hypochondria written by Martine Derzelle and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2013-11-26 with total page 126 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A rigorous and groundbreaking study. Martine Derzelle is the first researcher to approach hypochondria as a relational pathology. Martine Derzelle is the first researcher to approach hypochondria as a relational pathology. The author tackles a subject that has puzzled care professionals for decades: hypochondria. Martine Derzelle confronts all specialists (psychotherapists, psychiatrists, doctors, psychosomaticians) with the paradox of this pathology and the theoretical void on which the approach to those patients who express a suffering of various kinds has stood for more than a century. In the first part, the author highlights the lack of theoretical elaboration on hypochondria in the existent literature; in the second part, on the basis of clinical examples, she analyzes the nature of the disease, and then offers a completely innovative theoretical elaboration. Finally, in the third part, she proposes a new and specific approach to treating this pathology at both the theoretical and clinical levels within the framework of psychoanalysis and implementing key concepts from relational psychosomatics.

Book Computers and Games for Mental Health and Well Being

Download or read book Computers and Games for Mental Health and Well Being written by Yasser Khazaal and published by Frontiers Media SA. This book was released on 2018-07-12 with total page 311 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Recent years have seen important developments in the computer and game industry, including the emergence of the concept of serious games. It is hypothesized that tools such as games, virtual reality, or applications for smartphones may foster learning, enhance motivation, promote behavioral change, support psychotherapy, favor empowerment, and improve some cognitive functions. Computers and games may create supports for training or help people with cognitive, emotional, or behavioral change. Games take various formats, from board games to informatics to games with interactive rules of play. Similarly, computer tools may vary widely in format, from self-help or assisted computerized training to virtual reality or applications for smartphones. Some tools that may be helpful for mental health were specifically designed for that goal, whereas others were not. Gamification of computer-related products and games with a numeric format tend to reduce the gap between games and computers tools and increase the conceptual synergy in such fields. Games and computer design share an opportunity for creativity and innovation to help create, specifically design, and assess preventive or therapeutic tools. Computers and games share a design conception that allows innovative approaches to overcome barriers of the real world by creating their own rules. Yet, despite the potential interest in such tools to improve treatment of mental disorders and to help prevent them, the field remains understudied and information is under-disseminated in clinical practice. Some studies have shown, however, that there is potential interest and acceptability of tools that support various vehicles, rationales, objectives, and formats. These tools include traditional games (e.g., chess games), popular electronic games, board games, computer-based interventions specifically designed for psychotherapy or cognitive training, virtual reality, apps for smartphones, and so forth. Computers and games may offer a true opportunity to develop, assess, and disseminate new prevention and treatment tools for mental health and well-being. Currently, there is a strong need for state-of-the-art information to answer questions such as the following: Why develop such tools for mental health and well-being? What are the potential additions to traditional treatments? What are the best strategies or formats to improve the possible impact of these tools? Are such tools useful as a first treatment step? What is the potential of a hybrid model of care that combines traditional approaches with games and/or computers as tools? What games and applications have already been designed and studied? What is the evidence from previous studies? How can such tools be successfully designed for mental health and well-being? What is rewarding or attractive for patients in using such treatments? What are the worldwide developments in the field? Are some protocols under development? What are the barriers and challenges related to such developments? How can these tools be assessed, and how can the way that they work, and for whom, be measured? Are the potential benefits of such products specific, or can these additions be attributed to nonspecific factors? What are the users’ views on such tools? What are the possible links between such tools and social networks? Is there a gap between evidence-based results and market development? Are there any quality challenges? What future developments and studies are needed in the field?

Book Digital Presences of Organizations

Download or read book Digital Presences of Organizations written by Nathalie Pinède and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2024-08-13 with total page 372 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Organizations communicate in complex and various ways, and the context is mainly characterized by the pervasiveness of the digital ecosystem, including the Web, social networks and the Internet of data. However, its information delivery cannot overlook the requirements of multicultural communications at a variety of levels. Digital Presences of Organizations highlights the communication roadblocks faced by organizations as they emerge, arising not only from issues encountered on their own websites, but also as they construct online narratives. This multi-faceted and multi-strategy digital presence of organizations is addressed via three main thematic axes. The first focuses on differentiated strategies (content, services, interaction) that can be observed depending on the types of organizations and their users. The second examines the cultural dimension of websites, ranging from the local to the global. Finally, the third focuses on the role of narration in organizations' online communication strategies.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Using the experience of patients, users, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to innovate and rethink healthcare organizations and systems is gaining ground. Deploying these innovative methods and practices, however, requires an understanding and mastery of theoretical principles, as well as experimenting with them in the field. Experience in Healthcare Innovation alternates between theoretical presentations and case studies/examples in order to present the key notions of innovation in healthcare and the experiences of the people at the heart of healthcare ecosystems. It brings together diverse and complementary perspectives, shedding new light on the issue of healthcare experience through the prism of innovation. It includes a wealth of resources, ideas and results for all of those in healthcare wishing to implement innovative approaches that place the human experience at the heart of healthcare ecosystems.
