Book excerpt: Die vorliegende Literaturstudie ist die überarbeitete Fassung eines Ab schlußberichts zu einem von der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft geförder ten theoretischen Forschungsprojekt über "Theoretische und methodische Probleme der Erfassung psychischer Beanspruchungen" (Förderkennzeichen: Mi 178/7-1), das von uns bis Mitte 1983 am Soziologischen Forschungsin stitut Göttingen (SOFI) durchgeführt worden ist. Ergebnis der Projektar beit war neben dem hier publizierten Forschungsbericht die Ausarbeitung eines empirisch umsetzbaren Forschungskonzepts zur Erfassung und Bewer tung psychischer Belastungen durch Arbeit. Den dort formulierten Frage stellungen gehen wir derzeit im Rahmen einer vom BMFT, Projektträger Humanisierung des Arbeitslebens finanzierten Studie an der Abteilung für Medizinische Soziologie der Universität Göttingen nach. Göttingen, im August 1985 Gerd Marstedt, Ulrich Mergner Gesellschaftliche Relevanz und wissenschaftliche Thematisierung des Problems psychischer Belastung und Beanspruchung 1. Zur gesellschaftlichen Bedeutung des Problems Die These vom Bedeutungsgewinn psychischer Belastungsmomente im Zuge tech nischer und organisatorischer Veränderungen der Arbeits- und Produktions prozesse und im Gefolge von Wandlungen der gesamtwirtschaftlichen Arbeits platzstruktur ist in dieser wenig spezifizierten Form seit längerem fast allgemein akzeptiert. 1 Sie wird nicht nur von Arbeitssoziologen vertreten,) sondern auch von Ar 2 3 beitsmedizinern und Arbeitswissenschaftlern,) von Gewerkschaftern) eben 4 so wie von Arbeitgeberseite.) Schließlich hat sie im Aktionsprogramm "Forschung zur Humanisierung des Arbeitslebens" der damaligen soziallibe ralen RegierungS) wie auch im Bericht der derzeitigen Bundesregierung zur 6 Weiterentwicklung dieses Programms) ihren Niedersch~ag gefunden. Betrachtet man die jeweiligen Argumentationen allerdings etwas genauer, fällt auf, daß diese allgemeine Obereinstimmung erhebliche konkrete Dif ferenzen verdeckt.
